I love the Dollar General store. I hate having to go to the big box stores. Mainly because of the lack of cash registers open and that no one is ever at specialty booths to assist you. I can find most merchandise here that I need to hold me over til I absolutely must go to big box stores. Plus I have never had issues with getting assistance. I can also build a relationship with the assistants here. They are always around to help with your needs.

I brought in coupons that was not expired still in date and carefully read each one to make sure it was the correct product size and name. I took my purchase to the register the cashier said all my coupons didn't match up then charged me triple without the coupons for my werther's original candy. Full price they are 1.00 I had two bags full price would have been 2.00 she charged me 4.79 I told her it was wrong she got huffy and puffy then charged me the right price but kept my coupons and receipt and not once said thank you or come again. Customer service plays a major role is to whether or not I shop at that store again. I give this dollar store a one star ⭐ because there was no negative 🌟 to give.

Most of the time there's a line waiting to be checked out. Slot of the time things are in the isles waiting to be put up and you can't pass threw. A blond skinny short woman is hateful short tempered and rude! She acted like I was an annoyance and gave heavy breaths rolling her eyes and left for her break while checking me out. The mgr is friendly and helpful.

Milk is cheaper than walmart, snacks easily available but more expensive than walmart. The people are SO friendly. I'd avoid the bread as it tastes like laundry detergent. I don't know what happened but it's ew. They have ice cream, a huge wall of soda, snacks and donuts in the bags too. There is a TON of laundry detergent and cleaners. Good supply of cold and cough and you can pick them up after Walmart closes too which is SO nice right now. Oh...there is a RedBox outside too.

Love shopping here on Saturday b/c I can use the 5 dollar off with purchase of 25 or more. Plus they have an entire isle dedicated to things that cost only 1 dollar!

Has some good sales occasionally. To bad BOGO sales require actually buying 2 items instead of getting one item half price like at food lion in Cookeville.

Usually have no problems at this store it is actually my favorite dollar general in town but today the cashier wouldn't let me return something because I didn't have my receipt.She told me it was because she didn't know how to do store credit...???I hate the way they just make up the rules as they go...It all depends on whether or not they feel like doing it for you today or not...

Hardly any help. Store is generally messy. Only DG is a large radius so no choice. Mostly friendly.
