Sissy and I went there and found what we needed. Staff was friendly and there was a small.line to check out. I think there was 2 people in front of us to check out. I would recommend this place and I eill go back.

I go here often and they have some of the friendliest staff in retail. Shelves always seem to be neat and stocked. The digital coupons can save you a decent amount of money. One of the best dollar generals in cookeville.

From the time I placed my items on top of counter to be checked out until the time “Sarah” pointed at my total on the register, she was on the phone! Never acknowledged me. That is poor customer service! I had to ask for my receipt, I then told her how rude it was to be on the phone, her reply, it’s her district manager so it’s ok!! I let her know to tell her DM how rude it was. I will not shop in that store again.

Other than long checkout lines and typically only one cashier working up front, this store is great! Great prices(2nd cheapest milk in town), good quality, very convenient, organized, and friendly employees. Would be nice if the second person working could help up front during rushes. Good selection as well for being a dollar general. 👍👍👍 Dairy could be stocked more often with items like heavy cream, sour cream, cheese ect. Kinda hit and miss.

I enjoyed this store greatly. The aisles were clean, and cluter free. When i was welcomed warmly into the building, i knew this was a unique store.After quickly finding all of the items on my list, I was gretted and asked if I needed help. This person's name was Brooklyn, and he was very uplifting and helpful.I will happily five this store my return business.

This is one of my favorite Dollar general locations. The staff are always very friendly and the manager always carries a good conversation with you. The store is always stocked, everything is neat and they have a very good selection. Highly recommended.

Easy to find things. Here is a tip....dont wait until the line is around the checkout before you get another checker. Take another toke on the smoke and come help out! Makes your store stronger!

Dollar General has a great selection of candy for me to sell in my concession Stand. We shop at Dollar General often. The only complaint we have with Dollar General stores is that they don't have enough cashiers. If we see to many cars in the parking lot we don't stop.

Crowded and very poor rate on checkout time. Slow and only one lane until finally someone opened up a register for one person they knew then walked off to talk to them and just stood there watching a unhappy crowd of shoppers waiting to get the hell outta there. I won't ever go back it was same way the past 3 visits there on Washington avenue

I went in and it took the cashier 10 min to come to the register to check me out... but also she had left the keys on top of the register the whole time I was up there and she was in the back. I have never seen this and think people should be more careful with who they trust to keep keys.

Low staffed. Check out line was was from cash register around the rack and across the entire store to freezer section. The man working was running 2 registers(to speed up the line)so if the someone paid with a card at the first one he could check the next person out in the other one while they swiped and typed in pin and it approved.

Dollar General is a great little store to go when you need supplies for your home, business, or Motor home when you have little time in your schedule. And their prices are reasonable when you think of other comparison stores like Family Dollar, and Big Lots.

Will not go back, cashier really disrespectful. She did not ring up 2 of my items, me being honest, quietly pointed out, she acted like I did something wrong.... Very rude!! Will not go back!

The nicest dollar general is the one in Crossville. It was very organized and you can walk down isles without merchandise falling in the floor or your cart

Dollar General store in Baxter Tennessee if you have any choice of not going there don't go there. Totally unorganized no cooperation it looks like a garbage dump. Management is nowhere to be found I don't believe there's any management at all. Place shouldn't even be there.

I go to alot of different dollar stores and this one has the fewest selections on the $1 isle. It is stuck back in the corner of the store so if you didnt know about the $1 isle, you wouldn't see it.
