I’ve been with them twice now. Once through Thanksgiving and the second for Christmas. During Thanksgiving, my dog was boarded there for a few days and she had the homestyle which allows them to be free with all the other dogs throughout the day. There were no issues whatsoever, and Hailey was really great and sweet to my dog. However for this Christmas, my dog went through the homestyle again however, I have a family friend who works there and lets me see her and my dog was limping and she had marks under her stomach and on her chest. Usually they are supposed to call you to let you know if something ever happens to your dog. No one ever did. The next day, the family friend told me that he came in and saw that she was in a kennel in the play yard and when he asked, Rhoda said she was “too much” but never specified anything more and didn’t mention anything on why she was “too much” and the markings. Again, no one even attempted to call or text me to let me know why my dog was in the kennel when I pay for a home style. Usually this place is good. However, this last encounter has made me completely change about going here. When he told me that I came in early and picked her up. When I picked her up, they never even said anything to me about her markings or that she was even in a kennel. The only reason that I know is because my family friend told me and you can clearly see it as well. I am extremely disappointed, and I suggest not to go here. The only thing that I can honestly say about this place is they will work with you about scheduling dates and that if you need to change your date, they will gladly do it. However, I do not trust them with my dog anymore. Rhoda was extremely rude. When I first came in to go drop off my dog. She seemed annoyed from me being there it seems like she was in a hurry to get me out and take my dog back. She was also somewhat too much when she was trying to weigh my dog. My dog was going against her because she was pulling on her collar, so I jumped in to move my dog for her because I didn’t want her dragging my dog by her collar to get her weighed when we first got there. the only employee there that is genuinely a good person and good with animals is Hailey. This girl does not deserve to go down with this place. I’m fully aware that dogs will rough play with each other, and I do not suspect foul play with the employees. However, if my dog had an encounter with another dog and was hurt, I should be notified instead of my dog being locked in a kennel and me having to figure out from a family friend. I don’t know how long or how many times my dog was in a kennel, but I do know that I paid full price and homestyle and I didn’t fight because I just wanted to get out of there with my dog. The family friend doesn’t work with the dogs, he just cleans the place so he’s maintenance, oh btw the family friend was fired too the day I picked her up. So let that tell you something.

Took my dogs here for boarding and grooming and have to say this is the best business in cookeville! Prices are great compared to other places (I’m from Chattanooga) and the dogs were well loved! I will certainly be bringing them again when in town!

Outstanding, wonderful, attentive care. Letting my fur baby out of my care is tough but with the folks at this establishment I had no fears. My pup can have separation anxiety so when I dropped him off it was sad. When I picked him up completely different pup. Clean living space and caring staff set this place apart from others. I’ll definitely be back. No fear whatsoever.

I've boarded my dog three times so far at Copyright Pet Resort. My dog is a rescue animal who has fear aggression due to past trauma. I was very anxious about how he would do, but the staff assured me that the kennel they provided would keep all safe. When I returned after his first time there, staff led him out without his muzzle! The staff are real professionals who love dogs. Their prices are very reasonable and they offer a variety of boarding perks. Highly recommend.

This is a great facility! They always take great care of my little pup and make her look so pretty with a fresh bath and haircut! The staff truly cares about the pets there, I can tell. Great prices, too!

So, we have been taking out pups to Copyright for about a year. I want to be perfectly clear here. The grooming was very satisfactory and our pups were treated very well. My complaint is the cost. 2 price increases in a year, which puts Copyright charging 20-30 percent higher than others in the same town. With everything going up today it was time to move on.

Highly recommend !! My pup is older and has never been a big fan of the whole grooming, nail trim, etc. so he can be a real grouch ! But the staff at Copyright are the best and he absolutely loves Hayley ! She is so patient and I know he's in good hands !

My vet referred me to this place. Its very clean and most of all you can tell they care about your animals. They house birds, cats, and dogs. Highly recommend !

Absolutely amazing! The entire staff genuinely cares about the animals they take care of!! They go above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of EVERY TIME we board with them! We have moved to Knoxville but still choose to drive to Cookeville to have our dogs boarded here when we go out of town! Hands down the only place I trust with my babies! I love Copyright Pet Resort! I have used them to board all of my pets and had a wonderful experience. Even my high anxiety dog did great. The facility is so nice and has a cool doggy playground and wading pool for hot weather. Prices were very reasonable based on other places I had called before choosing them. They also have great grooming services. Daycare for pets too! Love them and use frequently!

Boarded our 3 shepherds here in June because our usual place was booked. When my husband went to pick them up, he was told his dog was aggressive to everyone and they wouldn't even go to the back to get him. I called to ask what happened and just got told "he was very aggressive" so I asked if he tried to bite or did bite someone and got told "no, nothing like that" that he would jump after the kennel when people would go by but that he was perfectly fine outside the kennel. I explained that he has bad anxiety when it comes to the kennel, he doesn't like it. My dog had a mark on her nose where it appeared she was scraping herself against the kennel. (I had a shepherd that used to do this from stress) she has never had any issues being boarded like this, so it made me wonder what really happens there. So, needless to say we won't be using them again. Spoke with our regular boarding facility and they said they have never had an issue with any of our 3 being aggressive.

I took my dog (troy) to get boarded for a few days. The lady that helped us was very nice and patient. They had several dog so that says alot. I asked about their security and she told me about the many fences they have. The place looked safe. Their prices are very affordable too. I felt comfortable leaving my baby there for a few days.

If your dog is well behaved, ask about the family style boarding, I will not take Clyde anywhere else, he really does prefer Copyright.

My family have been taking their fur babies to copyright for a very long time and more recently I started taking my miniature schnauzer to them for regular grooming. The staff at copyright are very attentive and professional. Leo is always very well groomed and I refuse to take him anywhere else. The thing that attracts me to them is their personal approach to the pets, Leo is very nervous around strangers and can be timid and they make sure he feels safe and secure. I've always had good experiences with Copyright. My dog is a bit clingy and nervous, but they pay attention to him, and he seems reasonably happy when I pick him up after a few days of boarding there. The grooming is very good.

Our dogs used to be fearful of going to the groomer before we found Mandy at Copyright, now they are and happy to load up and go to "get their hair done". I brought in my 13-14 year old Persian cat to get groomed a few days ago, and the experience was horrible. I've heard so many good reviews, so I thought that these people knew what they were doing, and were kind towards animals. I dropped her off first thing in the morning, and told them that I plan on picking her up around 1:30. They charged me $70! I asked the cost over the phone when I made the appointment, but I couldn't hear what the employee said, because their phone line was horrible. I've NEVER paid more than $50 anywhere else, and those people came to my house in a grooming van! I had to drive out to the middle of nowhere for these guys, so I thought that their price would reflect that. I paid when I picked her up, so it was too late to go somewhere else. By the time I got to the car and I opened the carrier, I noticed that she was STILL wet, and the poor thing was shaking! It was in the upper 50's when I picked her up, and she no longer had a long thick coat. What were these people thinking?! That's straight up animal abuse! She also jumped into my lap, which she NEVER does, and buried her face in my arm. I also noticed that she had several nicks on her stomach, back, neck, and tail area that looked really painful. I know from personal experience that cats are harder to groom than dogs, so a nick or two is common, but she looked rough. That tells me that she was terrified, so I'll probably never be able to take her to another groomer ever again. I bought her a sweater from Petco to keep her from freezing to death after I dried her off at home. She has also been sneezing a lot over the past couple days, and her left eye was sealed shut with gunk. This is all probably due to them leaving her dripping wet in the carrier.In short, do NOT take your beloved pet here!

Left our feather babies last trip out and was surprised they did really well in an outside of home enviroment. They were still as active and happy as ever. The larger bird had to be accommodated by herself but they were happy to do so. Next trip all the babies will be going to Copyright Resort.

Susan and the staff take really good care of my Scarlett. She loves going there, she knows the route and gets excited; she has to run around and give them all a chance to say goodbye to her before she is ready to go though the gate to me.
