Excellent boarding and grooming for your companion pets!Where to begin as Cookeville K9 are part of our family after so many years of boarding and grooming exclusively with them.In the past, they have successfully cared for our four dogs even as they aged and became a bit high maintenance, and one was a resource guarder. They have boarded our foster pups also when we traveled, including one who disliked other pups.We currently have one dog and she is treated like a princess at “camp”.She met a fellow boarder in the fall of 2021 & they fell in love-how meet cute is that!?!Well, this past January the owner and staff arranged a “pup-posal” along with the gentlemanly dog’s family. Some staff even came in from their day off to attend.To say our dog is loved by Cookeville K9 is an understatement. And they love every dog that much.We trust owner, Shannon, and her staff completely. Shannon is one of two people outside of our vet staff that I trust fully to care for our Redbird in our absence. The second being her trainer, Jess with Take Flight.We traveled to London recently and dropped Redbird at camp for a stay and a 3rd birthday celebration.A few days into the stay Redbird developed gi upset. The birthday celebration was put on hold. Shannon immediately contacted us and kept us up-to-date daily. She also immediately took action to help our pup feel better as quickly as possible. When Redbird had not improved within a few days, Shannon let us know she was heading to the vet for meds to help Redbird recover quicker. We were over 4,000 miles away but we knew Redbird was safe and cared for in extremely competent hands. Shannon and her staff were fantastic caring for Redbird and keeping us fully updated. Redbird is improving and back at home, and Shannon is still checking in on her.And I should mention that their groomers are not only skilled but patient and caring when it comes to grooming. They will not force a dog beyond threshold or force them to be uncomfortable for the sake of a groom.We cannot recommend Cookeville K9 enough.

Our dogs had a great time and the staff took wonderful care of them! We were gone for 8 days, 9 hours away, and left our dogs in capable hands! We will definitely be boarding here next time for sure! Super friendly and clean! Discount on 2 dogs!

Wonderful! I was nervous about where to board my pup Daisy because she’s very high energy and dog reactive. But she was so well taken care of - and I knew that for sure because pictures were posted everyday on the K9 n Friends Facebook page! Such a blessing! Daisy will absolutely be back!

Our 1st daycare visit was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. Both my pets were well cared for and came home happy 😊. I'd rate 10 stars if I could.

We dropped our grand dog Cinco off for 4 days, everyday they text me , I got to see him playing, they sent videos. He was a bit anxious but they done everything they could to get him to relax & he had a great time! This will definitely be our go to from now on! Thanks for going that extra mile…

I have been boarding my dog, Kyle, here for about 2 years and I honestly couldn't imagine a better place to take my baby or better people to trust him with. He's stayed as short as 1 night and as long as 6 nights and is always happy and healthy when I pick him up. The price is more than fair and I love that they give you the option of adding extras, my dog is very energetic so I always opt for extra play time and walks and of course the frozen treats... and can we talk about the pictures (professional quality for sure) that they give you access to on Facebook to download, print or whatever. Thank you Shannon and the rest of the K9-n-friends staff for always being so awesome to Kyle. I highly recommend them

I am very please with how our pets were treated during their stay. They both got flowers after their bath for their colors and are so soft and clean. Everyday they were there we for 20+ pictures of them uploaded to Facebook where you can see that they are happy and thriving. You definitely have my recommendation to board here if you are looking for somewhere that will make sure your fur babies are well looked after.

Excellent facility! Dropping my pup off is like dropping off one of my human kids. Shannon met us outside and offered to help carry my dog's things and just chatted while he sniffed around. She and the other person working the front desk were incredibly welcoming and answered all of my "it's our first time" questions. My dog went back with Shannon with no issues. The facility was clean and tidy. Private also from passing traffic! Pickup was easy and my dog honestly seemed a little reluctant to leave. :-) We got to see photos daily of his activity and knew he was having fun while we were away. We will use Cookeville K9 n Friends again and highly recommend them to others! They love your pet as though it's their own!

They helped me out big time when we moved here from Texas. The fenced in areas are nice, soft grass. I love that they post daily fb pics of my babies and set my mind at ease. If there is a problem with one of my dogs, they contact me asap. Definitely my #1 preferred kennel.

They provided excellent service throughout the entire stay. This was my first time having to kennel my dog for an out of state work trip, but they immediately made me feel comfortable leaving him in their care. He stayed for eight days, and when I picked him up I could tell he was incredibly well taken care of and was in a great mood. They had even bathed and brushed him before pick up which was a very nice touch. Thank you very much for your excellent care. I will definitely be recommending and using your services again!

If you ever have to leave your dog with someone else, you are always unsure of how things will turn out. But this is a fantastic place to board your dog. Our German Shepherd came home happy, healthy and clean. My wife and son were so happy to have our dog back, but I think our dog had a better vacation than we did. Shannon and her crew are very personable and they really care for your pet, not just boarding but they actually play with your dog, give them time outside, and observe them closely, making sure they are eating and cared for. I was impressed with how clean the facility was and it wasn't like other dog kennels. With your permission, they will post photos of your dog on their FaceBook site so you can see how your animal is doing every day. Awesome. At the end of your dog's stay, Shannon provides a report card showing how your dog's stay was. They have a great attention to detail here. Shannon's really friendly and the attitude of the folks that work for her is very positive. Great place, great folks and I will definitely bring my dog back here again.

The absolute best boarding and grooming facility around. We drive our doggies 45 min to get there and it is well worth it. They treat your pets like their own and we love the pictures that are posted daily so we can see them while we are away. Shannon and the crew are the best! My 3 love it there!!

We have several dogs and do not get to travel much. When we do, Shannon and her team take great care of our furbabies. The facility is clean and the staff is kind and professional. They even groom the pups and share pictures of the fun times the pack is having while we are gone. Local and reasonable. Highly recommend!

I brought my two Tibetan Mastiffs here after researching many boarding facilities looking for a place I felt could manage my dogs properly.They were so kind and they kept a thorough log of what my dogs did. The grooming looked amazing too.I was very pleased!

Shannon & crew are the best. We've been taking both our dogs to them for several years, sometimes up to 13+ nights and we never have to worry if they're being cared for properly. They give them plenty of activity and personal attention, not just locked in a small kennel all day like some places. Their prices are also very reasonable for the level of care they provide.

This place is the bomb! I feel totally confident every time I drop my pups off here for a stay! I know they will be taken care of properly and by knowledgeable handlers, who actually care about animals. My pups always seem super happy and come home tired from play time in their yards. They have never become ill or have had any kind of issue while staying at Cookeville K-9. One of my pups takes a medicine upon need only, and they have been very helpful with keeping an eye on her to administer medicine as needed. She always comes home in great, happy and healthy shape! This says a lot because it can happen at random, so I know they are involved and paying attention. I also have a shiba inu and they are able to trim his nails (that is a major feat). Our pups always come home clean and happy, even if it has been raining while they were there. Also, they have incredible rates!! Over all I think this place is great and would absolutely recommend them!

I boarded all three of my fur babies here and I can’t say enough about how nice this place is and how friendly the owner and staff are. The owner seems to REALLY love the dogs and does an amazing job of taking good pics of all the fur babies for you to view on the Facebook page while you are away on vacation. It was nice to be able to check in and see my pooches having fun and being taken good care of.

Wonderful folks with a well put together and clean facility. My girlfriend and I took a full length tour and Ms Shannon eased all our concerns since it was our first time boarding. They took great care of my pup Ruby. Shannon called immediately about some minor behavior changes in my pup which turned out to be an infection from a previous surgery. They took her to our vet and even covered one of the shots that Ruby needed. She even offered to allow us to make payments if we couldn’t cover the vet bill and board. They also post daily photos on Facebook if you want to see your pup during one of the 3 play times a day every dog gets. Ruby come back clean and happy as could be. I couldn’t recommend Cookeville K9 and friends enough!

I’ve never boarded any of my animals ever so you can imagine my anxiety. We were referred to Cookeville k9 by a good friend. My 2 aussies stayed for 4 nights plus were groomed. Wow! I am so pleased with everything about this place. Super clean and very nice staff. I so appreciated seeing pics of my girls everyday. It really gave me peace of mind that they were loving it!! I will no longer put off trips or fret over what I’m going to do with my girls. We will def be back!!

Such a sweet staff that all of my animals are comfortable going to.That statements weighs a lot when I have two rescue dogs. One has been shot roughly six times and the other has a permanently broken jaw. These babies have been through so much, but I know they are in the best care at Cookeville K9.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with Lola’s care. She was well fed and well groomed. I love the report they gave me on her and that they cuddled with her at night and were so interactive with her! We had a terrible experience with another boarding facility and so was nervous but not after this! I would highly recommend them! Thank you all so much for caring for my girl!

This was the 1st time I've taken my 2 dogs there. We are new to the area & I was very nervous. However they assured me that they would be well taken care of. Asked if they could post pictures on their Facebook page. Which I allowed. So glad I did. It was so great to see pictures of them every day having fun. The other dogs there all seemed so happy also. I'm so glad I found this place & will be using only them from now on... They are fantastic!!
