This store is my childhood, bringing back going grocery shopping with my mom. There was always friendly staff, well stocked, clean. It had all that we needed. I left for a year and a half and come back to it being pretty sad. I I would start shopping here since I moved out but they’re out of a lot of stuff like basic spaghetti sauce. It’s pretty dirty and not well kept. I hope to see it in better shape soon because I really do miss it being a good store for all my needs.

So glad there is an Aldi in Cookeville. I shopped at one in southern CA. Can’t beat their prices. Love it.

Aldi is one of my favorite grocery stores for several reasons. You can get much better deals on many products than at other stores. They have great produce for the most part. They have a lot of organic products and they have stopped carrying any products with preservatives, which I am allergic to many. I love their idea of depositing a quarter for a cart. I've had my car hit more than once by carts that weren't put up at other stores. The store is always clean and the employees are always friendly and happy to help. They have great products that rotate seasonally, and you never know what you're going to find! I hope I always live close to an Aldi store!

I try to visit this Aldi location whenever I'm in Cookeville since we don't have one where I live. The store is very clean, the associates are very friendly, and the shelves are kept stocked very well. The produce they sell is the freshest I have found in my area. The prices are very affordable, and the offer so many foods that you can't get anywhere else. In the fall months they sell pumpkin and harvest grain bagels that are amazing and you can't find anywhere else. If you haven't tried them you should. They also sell alot of German foods and treats that are really good as well. This store is my go to for stocking up on several food items that I like to keep on hand.

It's almost like shopping at Sam's or Costco but on a much smaller scale. There is some organization but not too much. It smells funny but otherwise seems to be decently clean. If you don't want to buy their bags, be sure to have your own. This was my first trip, and perhaps I might go back. There isn't one near me, so I would have to be going there if I'm going towards them.

I love to stop by Aldi before going over to Kroger across the street. Get what I can off of my grocery list for cheaper. I have not been disappointed yet with the items I get from Aldi. Some of the items here I actually prefer. The Aldi saltine crackers are better than name brand. The thick sliced bacon, cheeses of any type, protein bars, chocolate bars.. I'll take a picture of that and post it.

Always find more than you plan to here. I would definitely recommend trying their brands, you'll be surprised. Shop here first and save money on most of your groceries. Bring your own bags as they make you buy theirs, an excellent step for the environment imo.

When you get there you have to put a quarter in this thing to get a shopping cart!.? Yes really!! When looking for a salad.. the lettce looked like mush... oh!! And when we where leaving (with out buying anything) noticed you had to supply your own shopping bags a d bag your iteams yourself...

I drive from Rock Island into Cookeville just to stock up on basics here. I.E., Milk, eggs, butter, cheese, fruit and vegetables, ect. The Last 3 months the freezer section was unavailable due to remodeling. Today, the entire store was gutted. Was told there will be a Grand Opening on May 30.I wish Aldi had one closer to me. I can fill my buggy with everything I need for the month for about $100.

Prices are great. Burgers and chicken are tasty. The dairy is phenomenal. I haven't liked anything I bought in a can, (Chili, generic chefboyardee, vegetables) The breads and cakes are fresh. If you can get past all the sweets and pastries on the first aisle you're a better person than me.

Became aware of Aldi when I lived in suburban Phila and did most of my shopping there for many years….Great selection and prices until I moved to Tennessee and checked out Aldi in Cookeville….Not happy is an understatement….Limited selection of products or none at all….Low quality and not so low prices….Won’t shop there again especially since it’s a drive for me to shop there….The employee who checked me out was half dead with no personality or pleasantries….My entire experience was very disappointing!!!

When we're at the register I had a problem with my card and I decided I didn't want an item anymore so the store manager came up to help it started with him on a phone call which I have no problem with but when he put his phone down he greeted me with a sarcastic "hey buddy" then looked at me like I was taking time away from his phone call and when I told him my issue he ripped ripped the product out of my hand. Then he then grabbed his phone and proceeded his conversation. I then walked away from my groceries. I will never shop at this degrading store. Willing to pay more for someone who seems happy that someone pays his bill
