For anyone who likes to feel a book in their hands, Melody's is the place to go to find one. The selection is extensive and their savings program makes it even more affordable. Whenever I'm there I always find more than one book to buy, another author to try, a different genre. I highly recommend this store!

The owner is very nice and they have a resident feline which makes this a real used bookstore. I think the prices are $1.50-$2 higher than they should be, and some sections need organization, and they’re a little thin on academic Christian books. However this is still a place to look for gems. Could also use a little bit of convenient seating.

I love this tiny bookstore! It has quite a big collection for being so small! Plus you get to pet a very sweet cat.

Imagine that. A used bookstore with lots of books! I'm afraid I'm allergic to cats....and the cats were very friendly. Still, I really enjoyed the visit.

Loved this place! The atmosphere was so inviting and the cats roaming were just delightful! We asked for help finding a couple of specific authors and the gentleman helping us was very quick to show us where to look and what he had available. Super friendly too!!

Very nice used book store. They've got quite a few books and it's set up easy to navigate. They offer credit if you bring in your books to trade. I thought the prices were reasonable.

The owner and other employees are so very friendly and super helpful. Whenever I cant find a book they have no problem getting online and finding what I'm looking for and ordering it for me, and usually cheaper than I could have on my own and the quality of these 'used' books are amazing! AND when they have 'new' books come in that they think I would be interested in they make sure to let me know and show them to me, and most of the time I do love it and end up buying it too!! My kids love coming here as well, they enjoy finding new books and of course they love the resident cat who is as friendly as the people. If we ever move from Columbia it will definitely be a place I come back to often!

This is a nice used books shop that is very well stocked (books actually shelved to the ceiling), and the staff are very friendly. I've recently discovered this shop and have been dropping by there for hardbacks, paperbacks and quality books. The inventory prices are very reasonable. Everyone is very helpful in locating the titles that are of interest to me. I would definitely recommend stopping by to anyone interested in used books!!

Love the place, it's like a maze of books that's bigger on the inside than the outside. Adorable and sweet cat, but cannot give a higher rating because he is very obese. He's a bigger sized cat for sure, but rotund should not be a descriptor of a cat 😂
