Walking into Duck River Books I felt like a little kid wondering down the aisles and climbing the spiraling staircase. The store was absolutely magical and has so many unique options. They have beautiful hardback editions and collections. I was thoroughly impressed and could’ve spent hours here. I highly recommend for any of you bookworms. It is a whimsical place that I think anyone would fall in love with!

This is a cute little shop. It's a nice environment, and the staff are friendly. It can be a little tight in there if it's busy, as the aisles between shelves aren't very wide. I wish they had a wider variety of books on various religions other than Christianity and more on esoteric concepts or cosmology. It's not a huge place, so I can understand a smaller selection, though. I still managed to find several very interesting books and was happy to be able to support a local business.

You can tell that a lot of love and effort went into making this place. It's one of the nicest book stores I've ever seen. It's worth spending some time just to treasure hunt all of the little Easter egg details around the interior. Love the hobbit door upstairs! It's a long way for us to drive back for a visit, but we'll try.

Cute little local bookstore on the square. I've gotten really into reading recently and while the shop itself is small and may not have the book you need right away, they have a website where you can order books to have shipped to the store for you. I have started taking walks to this store every Tuesday to pick up an order. Shop local.

The place is beautiful and plays nice instrumental music in the background. Good selection of Christian books, about four bookshelves worth, and not just the pop stuff but nice antiquarian books at a good price. Nice leather couches and chairs for sitting in an enchanting children’s book section. A gem in our backyard.

Just discovered this wonderful bookstore in Columbia, TN. Beautiful store, interesting decor, organized arrangement, reasonable prices and great service. Their inventory includes tee shirts, bookmarks, and other gift items. This is a destination in and of itself and if you love books, don't pass the Columbia exit on I65.

This bookstore is one of the most magical places I have ever been to. You feel immersed into a book lover's dream. There is a huge range of different genres for all ages. There is even a whole section dedicated to the classics! The books are even a decent price and not too expensive. I suggest everyone to come visit Duck River Books!

We have been a few times and I absolutely ADORE this bookstore. We live about an hour away but I will be making the drive more often just to come visit. The owners are SO sweet. 10/10 highly recommend!!!

So I collect antique books to love and repair. I found one that was published 1831 and I was very excited that it was now my oldest book. I shared my excitement with the owners and one of them stepped into the back and brought out a book published in *1784* that was in disrepair and gave it to me out of the kindness of his heart. It made me so happy and made my birthday absolutely amazing. They are so kind and genuinely wonderful humans. Will be going back there again.

I love this quaint little book store. They will order any book in for you and it only takes a couple days. The staff is super sweet. The children's book area is so inticing it's hard to leave without a purchase. My daughter and grandson love it too.

The space is perfect. Feels like you've stepped into a movie set bookstore. Picture charming independent bookstore in your mind, and that's what it's like. Very impressive selection of books. Purchased a signed copy of a book on a niche topic for a reasonable price. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable.

Great selection in just about every genre you could dream. I bought two books here, and my wallet wasn't screaming at me after the purchase. The shop building itself is a thing to admire as well.Get a coffee next door and buy a book here. You won't regret it.

Love this little book store in the heart of Columbia. We just moved here from California and it was nice to find a neighborhood that had cute coffee shops and a book store that you spend hours in browsing. You can also place an order online and stop by to pick it up. I'm a big believer in supporting small businesses so I highly recommend checking out this great bookstore!

Took the hubby in for an after dinner browse. I love the decor. I even braved the spiral staircase. We found a leather bound, gilded edged copy of the Hobbit-Awesome! Some of the used books seem a little pricey to me, but they are still cheaper than brand new.

The bookstore only caters to the area they're in - primarily older conservative clients. When asked if they had any LGBT book selections, they declined, and they refused to order any books on the subject. This may be a great bookstore for a small community, but they do not support the growing LGBT community, and have repeatedly taken down truthful reviews. They will wine and dine the older conservative customers, and look down on anyone outside their own comfort zone - not a great business model to have in a growing community
