Super nice people working here. I visited last night to grab a frozen pizza and some jerk of a customer was yelling at the cashier. He talked down to her in the most rude and disrespectful way. Based on what I observed, it was the customer who was in the wrong. If he wasn't already heading out the door, I would have intervened. She and her boss (the manager, I think) handled it with such professionalism and courtesy. I don't think I would have been as nice, if I had been in their shoes. Every time I visit, the staff is so nice and helpful. They always have what I need and pricing is very affordable.

Usually good store but at times in AM with one person working and self check out closed... takes FOREVER for someone to come to register and when crunched for time, not good.... open self checkout in AM or quit requiring 1 person working from stocking shelves.

I managed to get there before 3pm yesterday (before the handwritten notes of closing early again!) I think this place is going to close down. There are carts of cases of product everywhere! You can't even walk down some aisles. Some aisles are bare. I couldn't find scotch tape! They need to clean house, starting with management and the whole crew!

Went in for a few items and found them pretty easy. The employees were friendly but there was a sign on the door that the store would be closing at 3:00 pm because of help shortage. I'm finding this in our area quite a bit. The store was clean and easy to access. Parking was not a problem and I didn't have to wait in a line to enter the store or to check out at the register. I have noticed that Prices have been going up in all the Dollar General's. This store did have a good array of merchandise and the shelves were stocked.

Store is always closed super early, closing times vary day by day. My wife went there and they didn’t even have a simple screwdriver.I highly do not recommend giving this place your business, there’s a better dollar general 5 minutes down the road who will gladly want your business.

This location is in the perfect spot to make things very convenient for the locals. They recently redid their store and I can honestly say that it was much needed and is better now than it used to be. If you would of asked me how it was previously I would give a 3star rating at most. Anyways, I really enjoy this location due to it being so close to home, and it's very clean and new. Nothing seems really worn or old. Overall it's a great building and place to pick up random things one would need around the house.

This place is never open past 5 to 6 PM. I wish they would at least cut the lights off when they close the building so we don’t even pull in and waste our time!!! Maybe they just need to close down this location.

This store is just beyond belief. You cant get down isles because the carts with merchandise are blocking every isle. Nothing on shelves ever! Employees always Standing in a corner talking even when people are waiting to pay. Or they are out by the ice machine smoking. I dont know who owns this store. However, as a business owner myself this is unacceptable for any business. Clean house or you wont last much longer. It is filthy in every way. I live only 2 miles from here. After today's visit....that's it for me....

Short staffed for stic blocking most of the store. The two young Ladies that were working had great attitudes and we're very helpful. They need a manager that can order and hire help

Everytime I enter the store I am greeted. This location in particular unfortunately always seems to be understaffed. I dont blame the workers there because there are only ever 2 in there at any given time. One handles the register and one always seems to be on the floor trying to put perpetual freight up. If the company could come off a little more to pay a third employee to be there, I feel the taking would be completed more often than not. Therefore I'm not digging through freight boxes to find my aloe water or my kids cereal...etc...So...employees need more help in house for tasking, but the customer experience there is not sacrificed.

I am very upset with Dollar General! The other day I got my grandson a toy they were all in a $10 spot went to check out it was $16. The guy even admitted that they were all in the $10 spot but would not sell it to me for 10. Then today they had these little Runner rugs all-in-one B group 50% off the manager goes back checks acknowledged they were all there with the 50% tag off and would not sell it to me at that price said someone had put them in the wrong place. This is happening more and more with them. They have their sale items marked check your receipt because you didn't get the sale price it rang up regular price.

Vary sad. They can't seem to get anyone checked out. Why they took the good check out out that had the belt they just fixed after all these years. I was second in line with a ten pack of beer. There were two people behind the counter. The one girl had to keep helping the other casher with a discount on a hose. We all were there for ten to fifteen minutes. And i was next the hole time. Its been bad for the last few months now. It really used to be run pretty good till now. They don't seem to care. You would think they want it to fail. Notice there is no more surveys on it anymore. I'm bummed i used to spend a 100 150 dollars in there. I hope they get it back on track. If you can't get people in and out of there put a self serve register in there. Get some more help in there and get the stuff put away. Sorry but i used to like that store a lot. And they had good people that cared. Not blaming the new people at all there trying there best I'm sure. I sound mad but I'm not mad i just see so many people shaking there heads and you no they just can't believe the way the store is run.

This Dollar General is hit or miss, never consistent either way. I've had some really good experiences and I've had some really bad ones. It almost seems when there are a bunch of racks out to do stocking, that's when the bad experiences hit.

This is the cleanest best organized Dollar General in Columbia!! The shelves are always neat and the outside of the store is clean too. I can’t say the same for the other stores in the area!!! The workers are always friendly!

Closed way before 9pm with no explanation or sign on the door. Staff just stared at us like we were stupid for trying to come in at 5:30pm.

DG is the perfect store for those who hate going to Walmart lol. The prices are always good except on a few things which I then must brave Wal-Mart to go and buy. All around store that probably has most of what you need to get through your day.

Depends on who's working the cash register. Most of the cashiers aren't in any real hurry. I live 5 min away but it could take 10 min in line at the register behind one person with 5 things to ring up.

Traditional dollar General, only thing about this store is its located right across the street from an elementary school so you will be stuck trying to exit due to both lanes being extremely congested between 8-830a and 2:30-3:30p. Other then that... Perfecto!

This particular Dollar General always seems to be mismanaged and hectic. It never seems organized and the employees aren't always the most friendly or professional. That being said, It's convenient, which probably matters most.

Dg on Bear creek near the schools is going downhill. It used to be my fav one. Seems like the managers never want to work. Was just rude to us bc they didn't lock the doors correctly

Store is dangerous a drain cover on the Walk has been broken a long time I know the zone manager has walked over it I was in retail 50 years that's rediculus that the leadership is that blind the clerks are always great the people who are head of maintenance need to take a long look around when they arrive at the store that's if they even make visits
