We adopted our good boy eight months ago and I would not change it for the world! He has been a great addition to our family and the volunteers at AFJ really helped to make him as such. His foster was great with working with him to make him ready for his forever home and that is exactly what he has here with us! Thank you AFJ for everything you do to help these pups!

We got our current dog from AFJ and Mandee. I really appreciate the good work they're doing, the care the dogs get, and just how accessible they are for questions or if problems arise. Really going above and beyond to care for animals and people alike. If you are considering adopting a dog from a rescue, please give AFJ the first chance to pair you with the right one.

AFJ is a wonderful rescue helping many dogs (and some kitties!) in our community. We adopted our puppy from them in May and she’s an amazing dog. So grateful they stepped in and saved her! We are now fostering a dog for the first time ever and they’ve made it a very easy experience. AFJ pours so much love into every animal they help! #lovematters

This rescue group does a great job saving dogs and getting the pups proper vetting. It is run by a group of volunteers and they do their best to communicate and provide any supplies needed to their fosters.I've been fostering since Christmas and it's been great. If I need any supplies, puppy pads, etc., The group Admins provided me the supplies I need. But a closed mouth don't get fed, so you have to let them know you need supplies or help. They are more than willing to assist with supplies or behavioral assistance. The end game is to get those pups new and loving homes.We personally adopted a 4 yr old doberman and one of my original puppies from them.We are all human, but these amazing ladies are doing great work saving dogs from a sure fate. With Love, all things are possible. ♥️

A freedom journey is a great organization. No one cares about dogs and the well being as much as this place. They are currently re-homing my dog since we had to move. I would recommend you donate and adopt a dog. I will be adopting one when my situation changes.

The love and compassion A freedom Journey has for their animals is nothing short of amazing. They cater to each individual needs. Because of all the time love and devotion they put in each on these babies it enables them to find the best home. I love how they always put the dogs first and will not place a dog in an environment they do not feel is right for the dogs. So many of these babies have been severely mistreated and have to learn to trust. They never treat these animals like accessory’s. If you are a true animal lover and understand that these fur babies are part of your family and need love compassion please rescue one of these babies and donate to this wonderful organization. Help them continue to save as many animals as possible.

I have known Mandee over 20 years now and have seen her build her career for this rescue operation from the ground up. Despite the challenges in rescuing animals, Mandee has prevailed in getting her rescue operation up and running, WOW! This is a 24/7 full-time, non-stop job and Mandee's #1 priority is always the care and welfare of the animals. From intake to getting animals ready for adoption, it takes one heck of a team and Mandee has top-notch, high quality people working with her to ensure the animals she takes in are cared for properly, vetted and go through all of the appropriate steps to be ready for adoption. God bless you Mandee and team as this is not an easy way of life, but unbelievably rewarding and SO worth it when these animals are rescued from homeless, negligent and abusive situations. I will continue to watch your updates and hope that God continues to richly bless you, your organization, family, friends and all of those animals you so selflessly help. Thank you so much for being a light in this world and for all that you and your team do!!
