I don't post reviews unless it's really great, or really bad. I had to write one this time. I went to pick up a western union sent to me, it LITERALLY took the customer service lady 20 MINUTES to check me out. When I asked what was taking so long, she said "my address." So I asked if it was the wrong address? She said "no." Meaning it took 10 MINUTES to TYPE my address into the system. Not only was she down right ignorant, she was rude. She asked me where I was born, but the first 5 TIMES she said it I had no clue what she was saying, (she was wearing a mask, go figure." But she wouldn't raise her voice, lower her mask, or make any attempt to allow me to hear her better. While I was there another customer came up and some kid "helped him" but when asked a question, the kid said he didn't know and to call the 800 number. Usually this Kroger is fine, but I can see how the way this country is now is changing people and employers. No one cares anymore, everyone is either rude, ignorant, or both. The most ridiculous visit I have ever had. again, took 24 minutes to do what should have and usually does take 5 minutes. Will AVOID this location at all costs from now on.

This Kroger, along with the other one down the street needs to train their deli employees better. Anytime I need stuff from the deli, I dread it because I know it'll be a 30 minute to-do, without a line. With a line it's at least 45+ minutes. I've noticed they'll have 3-5 employees behind the counter, with only 1 actually working and the others walking around.I truly hope the Florida grocery store comes to the market soon.

I like this store. I've been going here since 2016. The customers and workers are both pleasant and courteous. The selection is good. Bravo to the employees for they keep up with the stocking of the shelves and the multiple questions I've had as well as others. Thank you Kroger !!!šÆš

I be love this Kroger and do not understand the poor reviews. This store has some of the friendliest workers I ever encountered. Yes, they have security, but it is because of past shooting. The security guards are serious but friendly. The store has always been orderly when I have been in.

Awesome, they have everything I needed, and sale prices on some make it better. Plus - registers with cashiers! What a concept. Thankful Kroger remembers what service looks like (good bye Walmart)

Overall a great Kroger with a HUGE selection! Had lots of sales going on. I went in for a few things and quickly ended up with more! Restrooms were clean & wide isles. Large, LARGE wine selection. Good variety of just about everything. Cashier and bagger were extremely nice and friendly asking if we found everything we needed..the only drawback was the construction going on in the already very busy parking lot, but we found a spot pretty close and fairly fast so it really wasn't that big of a deal. I highly recommend this particular Kroger for fast trips or large grocery runs.

Management here is a real piece of work. Always yelling about no overtime and berating old ladies for asking where the prunes are. Seems like they are only concerned about lining their own pockets off the backs of the people who actually work here. No wonder this place is so bad. Too bad Kroger is a monopoly else no one would shop here.

I don't like giving bad reviews. I've been a shopper at this store for decades but the last year it has absolutely gone bad.Their produce is very poor. Constantly have tons of bugs all over... EVERYTHING. Picked up a bag of Kroger potatoes yesterday the only one that wasn't wet but it was rotten. Half the potatoes in the bag were rotten.Do not buy produce here. Go to Germantown that store has an immaculate everything.

We went at 5:15 yesterday evening to pick up a cake for our daughters birthday. We picked out a cake and it needed her name added to it. The 2 ladies in the deli informed us the bakery people had already left for the day so no one was available. š. What? I asked what time they closed and she said 7pm. Ok, well can you write her name on it? No ma'am i work in the deli and they wont teach me. Wow. So Tina and her deli coworker jumped into action and found me a plastic sign to put on the cake and actually found me another cake that said Happy Birthday. They were both so kind and helpful, despite my disappointment. They both made a horrible situation into a pleasant experience. So Kroger manager, teach your deli employee to write names on cakes as she is eager to learn. Put some appreciation into your kind employees who were there and willing to help. Kudos to Tina and her coworker!!!

Is anyone else absolutely appalled by the state of this place? We just moved to town and I feel like maybe I need to alert residents of Collierville that itās NOT ACCEPTABLE for produce in a grocery store to be covered in flies. The entire store appears to be grossly mismanaged. It is dirty, disorganized and riddled with insects. I canāt believe this grocery store is regularly shopped in by anyone at all.

The gas line takes forever. It took 10 minutes from the time I started pumping to finish filling my tank. Completely unacceptable!

Make sure you verify how many fuel points you have before paying. They will not tell you. They will take your money and then tell you your amount of Fuel Points and if itās wrong, they donāt care. I had a dollar off and because of some glitch in their system, the woman thought I only had three cents. I had to be the one to explain to her that I have a dollar. When I ran my card again, she finally saw it. But she had already taken my money. She promised that it would go straight back onto my card if I refunded it. But that was not true. Because of her actions, I donāt know how Iām going to get back-and-forth to work the rest of this week. The workers at the store apparently do not know their policies and they certainly donāt care about customers. Itās actually really disappointing, because I had liked this Kroger up until now.

This place is horrible. It just gets worse as days go by. Selection, prices, and layout are terrible. If any other grocery store came to Collierville they would go out of business. Every day they should send thank you cards to Walmart and Aldi for being a slightly worse dump than they are.

Called in an order at 3 today, was told I could pick it up between 5 and 6 tonight. Got here at 5:10.. Order was not ready. It has been 1 and 1/2 hours later and I am still waiting. and 3 phone calls to ask for help.The car next to me has waited over an hour too.I am very disappointed with kroger.Suggest you shop somewhere else

Today I stopped by to return chicken breast that I purchased four days earlier. I had my receipt, unopened chicken breast, driver's license, and original form of payment ready. When I got to the customer service desk I was rudly greeted by an associate named Queen who told me multiple times "We don't return meat." I've never heard of this before, especially if I had everything required for a return. Queen proceeded to tell me Kroger changed their return policy and now doesn't accept meat returns.I went out to my car and looked up Kroger's return policy and it says nothing about meat returns, and I called another location to verify that I can return meat and the associate at the other store confirmed that I can. So I went inside and asked for a manager, and Queen was apparently upset at this point because she loudly was exclaimed a few times that she was going to get the meat manager.The meat manager comes up and says it's okay to do the return and she then loudly tells me that I should just donate the meat that I don't want instead of returning it. I'm not against donating but I wanted my money back, and I didn't think that was a crime. She continued to say how incredible it was that I wanted to return the meat and shoved the receipt paper at me for me to sign my name at the end of everything.Not sure what her issue was but this was completely uncalled for.

My parents shop here and I grew up shopping here. They repainted the facade and reorganized the inside of store after the fired sushi chef came back and killed people as an active shooter. My dad picked up granny and my moms medicine in the drive through minutes before the event that day. My dad almost went inside but had a bad feeling. The building still looks about the same. They just painted the building dark grey. They have ācollierville strongā written everywhere. My mom still goes to the Kroger. When I was home I went to the Kroger and shopped even though it made me anxious

AVOID this store. Poor customer services where customers get treated like pests. Unhelpful and disgruntled employees working at this location made our groceries shopping experience a nightmare at this Kroger. One would think when the register rings up an item and its the wrong price, you could easily get someone to correct it by verifying the sticker price. WRONG! I waited a long time for the employee to physically check the price but she never came back. No one is willing to help. I even went back to take a picture of the sticker price and showed it to them.....still, none of them has the knowledge, the desire, nor the will to resolve the matter.

NEVER NEVER NEVER try to do a pickup Clicklist at this Kroger!! At least 5 times in the last 6 months they havenāt had my order when it was scheduled for pickup, and 2 of those times they didnāt inform me of the issue until I arrived and was waiting for my order. The other times they called about 5 mins before my earliest time window. The last 2 times, I was told Iād have to wait until noon the following day, and the last time they didnāt even have it ready at noon so I canceled my order. Who has days to wait on groceries! They shouldnāt offer the service if they cannot staff it! Also, most of the time itās picked right before my pickup time, and they donāt fulfill much of my order. Yet, several times Iāve walked inside after pickup and found most everything they said they were out of (Same brand, size, etc.). Also, forget calling them for anything. No one answers the phone. You have to go inside to complain. This store is awful! Itās dirty, produce looks terrible, bathrooms are NASTY! They have ārenovatedā this store 3 times in the last decade and it never looks any better and isnāt functional. Also, never staffed properly. I was there this past Saturday about 5:30 (day before Easter which is always busy, and they had only one single cashier working a register, plus one of the self check areas open. Each line for self check and the one with a cashier had at least 20 + customers in line! Really? They can only schedule 2 people to work the front (one cashier and one self check assistant)?? Also, why have another self check at the south entrance to the store if itās always closed!!! Itās never open, only the larger one so why did they keep it? If they arenāt going to staff it, they should have taken it out and freed up the space for 2 more check out lines or more space for floral! I pray every day that Publix will finally open a store in our area, and then our local Kroger stores will finally have some competition and hopefully have to close some stores! I prefer to go to the Kroger Germantown store when I can as it is much better and cleaner! Their produce is nicer too.

I will never use the online pick up service from this Kroger ever again. Just eight days ago I received a call telling me they werenāt able to have my order ready that I would have to wait until the next day. I was scheduled to pick up my groceries today and they left a voice message just two hours before my scheduled pick up time telling me my order wouldnāt be ready until tomorrow. Seeing how this same thing happened just eight days ago I asked to speak to a manager. Bill said they were short staffed right now and I politely suggested to remove some of the pick up times so, customers canāt select them and he said theyāre working on it, I donāt know what to tell you. š³ š¤·š¼āāļø Really? I wasnāt wanting him to tell me anything, I at least expected him to āDOā something. Tell me youāll look into it or offer an apology or something. I get that everyone is short staffed right now, but thatās not an excuse for not providing good customer service.

Kroger has really stepped it up the past few years. Everyone seems genuinely helpful and they really do a good job trying to keep enough cashiers up front to minimize the wait. I have also noticed that they are really working hard during the holidays to keep stuff in stock. You used to have to be shopping a week in advance if you wanted to find everything, but the last couple of years I have found everything almost up until the holiday.

I barely go to this Kroger due to horrible experiences and I tried to give it another chance on 1/9/2022 it was around 6pm and the lady at the deli confirmed why I should never shop there again. First of all sheās a slow poke she had two customers and taking forever doing god knows what. So to kill time I went to finish my grocery shopping 30 mins later I head back and she said had the same customers waiting for her and after she was done i greeted her all nice and she completely cut me off she had the audacity to tell me āhurry up and tell me what you want I want to go homeā and I was SHOCKED trying to process what just had happen and then again she yells at me to āhurry up!ā I was appalled I couldnāt believe an employee would speak to me in that kind of way. If she actually picked up the pace then she would have been home just like she wanted, instead of taking an eternity slicing meat. If it was an issue I wouldāve just done is myself instead of dealing with her nasty attitude. She made me so uncomfortable geez. I never post reviews but she had the worst attitude. Please do better.

For the second straight time my pick up order did not contain all items in order. First time only shrimp was missing but today five bags were not originally brought out. What really is unbelievable is there isnāt receipt provided. The āonlineā receipt should be available an hour or two after pick up per the store manager; however the last two orders still are unavailable. Although Iāve shown this to Zania, she still says it should work. Seems to me that not providing what and how much you have been charged would be illegal and is definitely unethical. I WOULD NOT USE PICKUP HERE EVER!!

Grocery pickup: Donāt waste your time. And it doesnāt matter that youāve selected a pickup time. This is the second time in a row that weāve had to wait more than 30 min for our groceries after we called to let them know we were here. Iāve been sitting in this parking slot for 43 min. Still no groceries. I even called to see if I could get an update. The girl told me they were still filling my order. I asked how much longer and was told they didnāt know and she hung up. Crazy!

It just got a little more interesting to shop at this store. They now have hand scanners so that you can scan your purchases as you fill your cart. I've known other stores to use phone apps but this is the first store I have known to use their own hardware for scanning. I have not tried it yet. The usual reason for using this service is to reduce the check out time but Kroger has been really good about quick check outs. So, there is not much of a reason to use the scanners. Still, next time I am in the store, I will probably try it out.
