The cashier was super nice and helpful. I went in to get my boyfriend lunch. There were no customers at the deli so I thought I could get his lunch and leave without a wait. I ordered and waited. There must have been a large call in order in front of me because I had to wait 20 minutes or so. I got the food and went to give it to my boyfriend. Late. When he picked up the bag the whole bottom was wet with grease. He took the food out of the bag. I got him a Philly cheesesteak wrap so he could eat it in my car without a hassle. Boy was that a huge mistake! When he opened up the paper wrapper, the wrap was so greasy that it was nasty looking. He tried to pick it up to eat it and it slid apart. Every bit of the meat and veggies slid out of the wrap. He could not pick it up at all! He ended up not being able to eat this nasty monstrosity! So my boyfriend didn't get lunch 😤 now I know that Git n Go has great food! I've had it several times and I know many people who eat it often. I don't know what happened tonight. But I'm not happy about it because my boyfriend had to go back in to work without supper.

I ordered a couple of hoagies and fries for lunch, and they were absolutely disgusting! They were mashed flat & soggy The fries tasted like fish! This isn't the first time for that!I used to get hoagies from this location regularly, and they were perfect, but the last few times that I have ordered anything from this deli, the food was terrible! I keep hoping it would improve, but I've finally decided that it's not going to! This location is very convenient for me, but I will be ordering from the Git n Go deli by the interstate in the future! The employees at that location are very nice and helpful, and the deli is awesome! The extra drive will be worth getting good deli food!

Car wash eats your money with nothing in return, and 1/2 of the others had out of order signs also. Funny that the owner is running to Asheville telling Ingles that they need to build a new store when his own are all in shambles. The S. Clinton location hasn’t had gas prices posted in two months. When asked, the employees said the owner is too cheap to fix the sign. 🤪🤡

I have been getting take out here since I was a kid. It was a ritual my father and I had together. When I started working, I would frequent this place for food since they were always open.I can understand things change, but there is no excuse for lack of quality, and inept employees. Recently something has changed for the worst. We typically give places at least three chances before we stop buying stuff, but we have given Git N Go many more chances, over several years; recently, the employees seem like they couldn't care less, either outside smoking or chatting each other up, or on their personal phones. I realize people need breaks sometimes, but when I was in the service industry, we also realized when customers are in the building, you get to them or you have someone else cover for you. Anyway, this last time, the food wasn't terrible, but our order was completely wrong, and they left part of it out so we had to turn around and go back. They also left out the pickles and peppers. It has become a running joke in our household because it seems every other time we order from Git N Go, something is wrong with our order. It seems no one knows how to use the sandwich steamer. One of our items seemed like it was reheated which not only ruins the quality, it's unhealthy. Making a sandwich is not rocket science. Do I need to come in there and show these people how it's done? hahahaI know the quality Git N Go expects because I experienced it for years. This lack of it seems it's just lack of discipline, lack of pride in one's work, and laziness. Hey I get it. The food service doesn't pay well, I worked in it a long time. What employees need to realize is you build work experience and ethics in any job. When you allow the quality and pride in your work to wane, you begin to internalize and accept those bad habits as acceptable. It makes you almost unemployable in other professions because you inadvertently lack a proper work ethic, and ability to recognize details and discipline. You become lazy, and expect that as the norm. I don't know at what point it became normal for employees to "do their own thing" on the clock, but whatevvs.

They do not accept Apple Pay or any type of contactless payment. Cashier was eating while ringing me up. The store was nice but not having a way to pay without touching things that have saliva from the cashier is disgusting.

You want Clinton??? Get yourself a bacon double cheeseburger with some fried pickles and fried mushrooms!!! Too drunk to walk in, we have an easy pull up drive thru for your convenience!! Gotta love git n go!

First time getting gas here and they put a $150 dollar hold on my card. Now that's not an issue for me, but for someone with a secured card and a fixed income, this could have been devastating. I wont be going back to any of their gas stations. I recommend those with limited credit go elsewhere for gas. Normally gas stations will put a $1 hold on the card.

I make it a habit to stop by Git N Go every time I am in Clinton. The gas prices are generally the best around. The facility is always clean and neat. The employees are fabulous BUT most of all the Hot Dawgs are the best! I usually get a few Hot Dogs but I have also tried several other items. Always fantastic food. I highly recommend Git N Go to anyone and everyone. :-)

I am leaving a rating for the deli: Wow. Perhaps its the stove, maybe it's the ingredients they use, but from a simple hot dog to a turkey club have my taste buds drooling. And I JUST ate! I wouldn't suggest getting any groceries at any Git n Go unless you are super lazy or have a fat wallet. But I guess that's why they exist.Just last week, this gas station had the best prices around! They usually match the prices near the I-75 stations.The staff are kind and quick. The store and restrooms were very clean.

Not ok! My husband is in Gitngo by the interstate daily. Last night we ordered and went to pick up our food. When leaving an employee accused him of stealing a drink because their friend claimed they seen him put it in a pocket. Guess what, he didn’t have pockets and didn’t steal anything and paid $40 for food and drink. So next time you (gitngo) want to accuse someone of stealing maybe you should be positive that they did before accusing them and maybe train your employees a little better. Lost our business as daily customers. Maybe corporate needs to retrain and let employees know you don’t accuse someone stealing unless you have proof!

Few employees are very lazy who did never clean toilet , restroom , put hands soap because of covid-19 concern . All stores must have hands soap but all 4 different Git n Go location same thing made me so freak disgusted and gross out because of no hands soap , I'm considering quit go there . I caught all employees were chatting and talking and not working . Dining room and all floor are sooooo dirty and I caught few employees were smoking outside during many customers were waiting for cashiers . Worst stores in history .😡😡😡😡

3 employees behind the counter one messing with the loto tickets one sweeping the other chatting with the one sweeping I'm standing there at the counter with my items and 30 seconds later the loto guy comes over to ring me in. The tasks they were doing had to be done before attending to me or even acknowledging me. I felt it was anything but q convenience store. I felt I an inconvenience if anything

The food is always awesome therefore anytime I'm in Clinton I stop.While waiting on food,I used the restroom and not once bt twice someone knocked,or should I say Banged on the door! I sd Yes someone is in here.When I walked out, one of the employees said..One of the employees has to use the bathroom and cant hold it..okay!!!?? That was very very rude.I understand everyone had to go bt that was ridiculous. There's even a sign on the door tht says..If door is Locked,its in Use**** then I go to get my order,and the younger blonde girl says I called for you a long time ago!Not sure if all employees are jus miserable here or what bt Geez!

This is my main go to gas station. I've had some of the best deli foods and desserts here since I was a child. Friendly staff. Great selection of snacks. And oh they make slices of cheesecake!

Place has a car wash, no change machine and the workers don't wanna give you change. They always give excuses as to why not. And you will stand in line for 10-15 min because there's three people at one register talking and texting. And if you order food it takes far too long because they're busy talking to each other. And if you try to call it in half the time they don't answer. Seams to be a problem at all locations.
