I was looking for reusable shopping bag so I can use it as a carryon when I fly out of the Knoxville. She instantly pointed out and we had a beautiful transaction.

As another reviewer said, the cashier regularly walks out the door to smoke while there are people waiting to check out. The employees clearly don't want to be here. They stand around like zombies and barely respond to your presence even if you are talking to them.

Left the store approximately minutes ago after waiting in line for several minutes for a cashier. I was second in line and there were at least two customers behind me. We all stand there for some time wondering where everyone is at. After sometime, a lady (who turned out to be the cashier) looks through the door from the outside, sees us and throws her lighted cigarette down and comes to the register. So she lets customers stand in line waiting to check out while she is outside the store smoking a cigarette. I did one star because I could not post without at least one.

If I could rate in the negative I would. The cashier Julie just picked a fight with my 8 year old daughter. She said my child was being rude. I was standing right there and know my child very well she was not acting inappropriate it any way. She was being very rude to my daughter in fact and I asked to speak to a manager and absolutely nothing was done about it. They asked me to leave the store. I will never be back to this store. They are very unorganized, understocked and very disrespectful. She acted as If she were under the influence of something. Yelling at my daughter. If you have children I would avoid taking them here. My daughter is in tears right now with hurt feelings..

We have to travel another mile or so to get to this one but it's worth it! Helpful employees, with patience for customer service. Not to mention, they always have our favorite snacks stocked and not out of date.

I was in here and this one customer was really rude to the cashier at the checkout and was disputing an item in the store. It's not the cashier's fault that the store manager didn't take down all the old sale's and update the prices for the store and the customer had the cashier crieing it broke my heart to see this. People don't realize how hard it is for people these days with the covid 19 pandemic going on. And I think they need to be more courteous of others who are working hard to keep there job's even if they don't have to work or never have had to work or if they get a disability check. People we need to wake up and smell the coffee ☕ God said for he is coming back and near the end of time there will be a reckoning of all things good and evil

Absolutely my favorite dollar general! I never go to any other and if Lisa A or Charlee P are working it's even better! They both are the most sweetest workers they care about your needs and are so helpful! I absolutely love them, they make me feel like family, I won't go anywhere else.

The few times I've needed a mop or last minute ingredients for dinner, this location had it. Compared to other dollar stores & Walmart, the best value I suggest are their kitchenware, stationary, party and clearance aisles.The staff are very helpful and the store is decently tidy. I wish I worked here instead of the Rocky Top store.

I am so appalled to see what I have experienced by going into this store. You guys are losing a lot of money by letting this store go down hill. This is not just me.....it's in an area that alot of people can shop and won't!If you can't get into the store.....nothing is clean....eating at the check out counter. HOW RUDE! IF YOU ARE NOT AWARE.....THEN HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY HERE???????Clean it up.....or close it down!

Pretty much what you expect from these types of stores. Cramped spaces and shelves packed. The cashier was talkative and also was staying busying during the periods she didn't have customers . No boxes on the floor left from trucks. It wasnt bad it wasnt outstanding

This store is always clean and stock is put away not like the other stores that are in Clinton you can't push a buggie around in them for all the stock that is in the way I will not shop at the others stores because of that its not only me I know of a whole lot of other people who feel the same way That's why we like the one that is on the old lake city Hwy

Older than dirt store. Narrow aisles. There is no way this location is ADA compliant, probably grandfathered in really. Employees could be more friendly as well.

Dollar general is always pretty cool, from hidden gems, to the As Seen On TV wall, to their Value Valley. I gets a bit messy sometimes, but that's because of uncaring patrons just throwing things around, kids running amok, or the employees having to restock the entire store every second they aren't behind the register, taking care of customers. Its literally one or two employees, one behind the register, one maybe stocking, or cleaning.Maybe one other.For a company that is religiously short staffed, they still keep the lights on, and still take care of business.

It's my local dollar general. Staff is always nice and really helpful. My wife thinks the guys working there are cutie pies. I guess that's why she shops there a lot.

Slow checkout, you must walk down aisles with no buggy, stock not put away, do not keep up inventory and employees do not know where anything is to assist in your shopping experience, prices are high.

We stopped by your store on Saturday, July 2017, in the evening, as we went there was a male working the register, also a female worker waiting to get off with her friends, who was gathered up at the counter, we said excuse us, and made our purchases, the cashier was extremely rude, didn't even hand us our bag, and walked off saying something like I got to get this place straightened up. But this is the strangest thing, as we got to our van, the female worker was in a car with her buddies, as they went by us they give us the finger, twice. We do not have a clue, unless we interrupted something in the store, we are still trying to figure it out, we are older and dont undestand it. Please check this out, we won't ever visit that store again, strange real strange.

Very crowded inside and every time I'm there they got one poor woman stocking running the cash register and lord knows what else. So needless to say I'm always waiting for her to come up front to cash me out. It's not her fault so I am nice to her. She works herself to death.

The store was a total loss no cat food on the shelf. No dish liquid! Looks like they are trying but there was freight still in isles all over the store. Dollar General needs to step up their game.
