Fantastic shop, we don't get many shops like this in the UK now. Stunning range of tools, fixtures and fittings etc. People very friendly and helpful with very reasonable prices (at least as far as I'm concerned. Spent a fairly big wodge of cash but know what I felt far better spending the cash here than a US well-known store.

Good store, they just won't help the disabled with walkers or wheelchair to help get propane tanks in and out of your vehicles. They will carry it but refuse loading.

Very nice small hardware store that has just about anything you need. Had 3 propane tanks refilled and the service was great. All the associates were friendly and helpful.

Smallish store with small inventory, typically out of whatever I'm looking for. Nice and helpful staffDon't go to this store unless you enjoy stumbling over boxes and boxes and more stacked boxes of unsorted and undisplayed merchandise in EVERY AISLE.

The cashier was super friendly and helpful. The store was extremely well stocked and probably the neatest, best organized, and cleanest hardware store I've ever been in. And I've been in hundreds over the last 5 decades... Drove 45 minutes to get there and a public restroom would have been nice, but no big deal.

Came in a few days ago. Went to checkout, and I just so happened to notice the price on something I was purchasing, didn't ring up correctly. The amazing cashier called a manager to the front and waited. She was completely apologetic to us for waiting, but I reassured her that my boyfriend and I, understood completely, as we work in customer service ourselves. The... "Manager," a thin, petite, brunette, walked up, asked her, "So, what's the problem?" With the most rude condescending voice I have ever heard. The cashier explained what the issue was (such a sweet woman that cashier was!!!). The manager slammed her hand down on the counter, grabbed a notepad, wrote down the serial number (I'm assuming), threw the pen down, walked to the aisle to check the tag, (after my boyfriend had already checked the price and barcode), came back, threw the pen and pad down, and said, "Well since the tag wasn't updated just give it to them for that price. It's whatever." The poor cashier was so apologetic and even explained to us, the managers.... "situation," but to be honest, if she was not mentally capable of coming to work, then she should have taken leave. To talk to your sweet employees and understanding customers like that, is ridiculous. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this store until now. I am apologetic towards that managers situation, but by no means, does that give her ANYYY right to treat her employees, AND CUSTOMERS, like that in such a disrespectful, distasteful manner!!!!! I was so upset for this poor woman having to work with her! That cashier needs a raise and that manager deserves to be fired!

It's not my favorite Ace I've been to, but it's still good. They have tool rentals, concrete, asphalt, grass seed, tools, dirt etc. Everything you'd expect and in quite a small space. I frequent here often.

I was in on 1-31-22, thought I would let time pass before posting, still feel the same as I did that day. Car broke down as I pulled into the parking lot. Spent around an hour fixing the car. Finally went in to get what I needed at 125p, they were closing at 2p, asked 2 people for help and I was completely ignored while staff were filling store with merchandise from outside 30 minutes before they were supposed to close. Went back out to wait on a tow, after store closed watched no fewer than 15 vehicles pull up and leave, several even tried the door.

Wonderful hardware store. Looks small on the outside but its loaded with everything you can think of. Went for stainless steel cleaner and came home with 3 different types! The staff knew exactly where everything was. It was a very pleasant shopping trip.

I have visited this Ace Hardware on several occasions. It is well stocked and the staff has always met me at the door to immediately assist me in finding what I need. They have always been courteous and even excepted a return on an item when I did not expect them to. In this day and age when big chain associates will run from you when they think you may need some help, this old-fashioned, small-town service is awesome.

Every time I go in here, the staff is courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Whenever I have a question, it seems like they always have someone on staff who can answer that question expertly. They've never steered me wrong. My only complaint is that they're prices aren't always the best.

I can usually find whatever I went there for and not have to go to another store. Customer service is friendly and very helpful. Their prices are maybe a little high0er but products are very good quality.

This is the best hardware store I've ever been to. The staff were beyond expectations and the prices are more than fair as well. The store itself is clean and assorted well. There's rulers and guides to help you find your nuts! :-D The only real tricky part is the aisles are not spaced well for many people at once.

So much packed into a small store! They have about everything you need. 4 stars is because staff could be more friendly and not so “hard” the young guys act like they don’t want to be there they don’t smile they are extremely serious like they are afraid to have a conversation with you. Could just be that I’m old school too.

Been here several times. Always clean, helpful people but last order was done incorrectly so had to give them a mediocre rating, a 3 at best. I certain that rating will go up.
