I normally love Tractor Supply but was disappointed by a recent visit. I came in a few weeks ago and bought what I was told were 4 Barred Rock pullets. It turns out that 2 of them are not Barred Rocks at all and are an entirely different breed, potentially even a meat bird or rooster, which would be very disappointing as I was intending to start a flock of laying hens. When I called asking what they could do about the situation I was told there was nothing they could do for me at all. When you’re advertising something for sale and then the customer gets something different than was advertised and then you won’t amend the situation I find that problematic. I’ll definitely be pursuing other routes when I need chickens in the future and I would recommend other people looking for chickens to do the same. I was told they just sell what they receive from the hatchery and so there’s chances of getting the wrong breed/gender, which I wish I’d known in advance since I might’ve wasted my money. I’ve attached a picture of one of the *not* Barred Rock chicks.

I was looking for milk replacement for some baby squirrels that had fallen from their nest and asked an associate if they know anyone who could take care of them and Ethan Brooks was a great help. He knew of someone who might be able to help and gave me their info and I was able to get the squirrels to a safe new home! I really appreciated the help I was given.

Great place and they are really some friendly folks! When I bring my dog, Charlie with me he knows everyone and they know him and make sure to spend some time with him. Besides being real friendly, everyone is very knowledgeable about pretty much every product, no matter who you ask and what you ask about. I just love coming to this Tractor Supply!

Thank you for filling out motorhome propane tank! We find it hard on the weekends to ever find anyone willing to fill our tank and this place had 3 certified fillers. Mack Duncan and Nate were extremely helpful and fast and very thorough as both paid close attention to what they were doing. After it was filled, I went in to pay and every employee acted like they owned the place meaning (as a person who has employed people in retail for over 25 years, I would be willing to hire any of them at a drop of a hat.) We will be coming back here as we travel up and down 75 from now on to have our propane filled!

The store is always very clean. And their employees are there to help. Now with that being said I have never in my life been in trouble with the law. I’ve never had someone watching every move I make. I know some people are thinking well if you’re doing something wrong then yes they’re going to watch you. However, I have never stolen anything in my life. Not even on accident not even a 5 cent piece of gum. Every single time I’m in there the secret shopper employees attach themselves to my hip. I rarely carry a purse I have normal fitting clothes on so I’m not really sure the problem but it would be great if they could get that worked out and learn to appreciate their customers! We all come from different walks of life.

This is usually our “go to” place for our actual farm. However, lately it’s “in stock” inventory is severely lacking if your not wanting pet food or trinkets. Have repeatedly stopped in for machinery oil, pesticide, etc only to find it not in stock. When I inquired when it would be back in stock, was told two weeks or longer as the manager didn’t know when or what would be on the truck arriving Sunday. Never seen this store this poorly stocked, dirty, or staffed. Thank you.Update: Increased rating from two stars after a call to the district manager who quickly rectified the issue. It’s refreshing to see this type of “customer first” response. Thank you.

Great place for hardware and farm supplies. They carry a good selection of work clothes. You can also but gun safes. The employees are knowledgeable about the products. I would recommend Tractor Supply.

For the most part this store usually has what ever I need for my dogs, but recently they seem to be out of stock for several days now. I've been calling for the past few days to see when they will be restocking the items I need but no one answers.
