Really wish I could give 0 stars! I was just at the Cleveland store this afternoon to purchase dog food for my pup. I brought my pup in with me...on a leash...he is 7 months old and still learning. A friend was with me and asked someone for assistance with finding a certain dog food. They were rude and not overly eager to help. I found the food on my own (no big deal).what the real kicker was...the store associate Robyn sought me out down an isle and asked if what my dog had on was a shock collar. I was very polite and said no it is not. She proceeded to chastise me and tell me it was, asked how old my pup was, if he was under direction of a dog trainer. None of this was any of her business, but I replied politely and said he is doing just fine. She proceeded to chastise me some more and say that I was going to cause my dog to be aggressive. I politely asked her to stop and she started again. My voice did raise and I asked her to stop once again, she does not know my situation or my dog or what my dog is even wearing. She was irritated and walked away. I proceeded to front of store with my 80$ bag of dog food. However, i quickly returned it. Robyn was extremely rude, condescending and had 0 place in chastising me. My pup is very well loved and care for. Whatever training I do or do not do with him is my business. I will not be back to any petco because of my experience here.

Petco is good they were helpful the only reason I give a three is because they don’t have much selections for cat clothes. But lots of them for dogs

Would give it less if I could ! But have gone to this store a few times in the past and the manager is nothing less than rude and evertime I have asked him a question he was always short and most time is just rude. Today was last day for me going there the jerk was rude as usual if you dont like your job then go get one you like I love my exotics and i would think a manager would have the same passion for the animals and supplies as the customer. But any way I went across Paul huff and to petsmart to finish my enclosure purchases. Also while I am thinking about it they're is never anything kept in stock they sell lizards and spiders but only keep two cork bark Flats and no rounds if any wood at all. Also anything for exotic pets is very limited. I went to the petco in Hixson and the staff was awesome the manager was very helpful and pleasant really you need to send Hixson staff to cleveland to teach them how to run the store and from now on will travel to Hixson petco or petland in dalton or if really in need of something in a hurry will shop pet smart in cleveland but they don't carry as much exotic pet supplies as Hixson petco and way the Cleveland store is just horrible

No idea who they get their bearded dragons from but I bought 1 then had to return it bc it was so stressed from the pet store it wouldn't eat for me the 3 days. Afyer i exchanged it the new one that gave me almost died before I got home. As i was walking out another man was walking in to return one door the same reasons. When I tried getting my money back they told me I couldn't and had to use store credit. Petsmart across the street has significantly healthier happier dragons. Go there. They also won't sell you sick animals then essentially force you to spend money in their store if you try to return it for your money back. Js.

As a owner of multiple fish tanks, dogs, cats and much more I frequently visit Petco. In just the last 2 weeks I have spent around $500 maybe a little more of i include my sons purchases too today was my first time at the Cleveland Tn location and this will be my very LAST in this location!!! EMPLOYEES ARE EXTREMELY HATEFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL !!!!! Did a online order for a fish tank picked it up the employees banged up the fish tank taking big chips out of the corners and scratching it up wanted to exchange it for another one and they demanded I pay $11 more than what I paid online already trying to say I didn't pay taxes but if you look at my app online order I plainly paid taxes. Very poor customer service.... people take my word drive the extra mile and go somewhere else

Pleasantly surprised at the freshwater fish department. Clean, with healthy fish. Plenty of variety. Very helpful and friendly staff. My fish are in quarantine at my house, and appear very healthy so far.

Ever since I moved to Cleveland, Petco has become my second home. I come here so often for my puppy. The workers here are extremely nice and they have a GREAT manager. Even when they are low on staff they are always helpful... You just have to be patient.Specifically I wanted to give a review to JESSICA in the grooming department. She is so sweet and absolutely amazing at her job. Her haircuts are the best and I hope she never leaves or Ill have to track her down because I would not trust anyone else with my puppies hair. She pays attention to detail.. and always asks how everything is after she is done. Jessica I hope you see this!! You are awesome!

They want to charge you .10 cents for a bag. I'll buy my stuff elsewhere. This store has some balls to be that petty while a recession is happening. Prices on everything have gone up, and petco decides to Nickle and dime people over a bag. Talk about greed.

You know I frequent Petco in my hometown of Fort Oglethorpe, GA and today I decided to visit the Cleveland, TN store on Paul Huff. I will never go back to that store ever again. The employees were rude and when I asked Robyn about a size backpack for the dog, she seemed bothered that I asked her and said "I don't know" ... as a small business owner myself ... this is a terrible presentation of the brand Petco ... I ended going to Petsmart across the street and got what I needed for my three dogs.

Very disgusted with the Cleveland store. We had fish die and took them back to get our money back and they wouldn’t give us the full refund. I mean seriously??! We paid for them and they died overnight.

I highly recommend Petco grooming. I have been with them for 3 years and about few weeks ago, I had Jack in there and pretty much saved his life. Summer spotted a huge knot on him and told me to take to the vet and I did and found out he had cancer and caught it just in time. I am super grateful for these groomers cause I missed it but they caught it and told me about it. I am just flabbergasted about the work these employees here pour into this store and in grooming, they care so much for Jack as much as I do at home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will continue to use Petco.

They don't care about the small animals! We have gone a few times and every time the gerbils have knocked over their wheel. They are also in too small of an enclosure for two of them. One of them looks really depressed and the other one is really stressed out. When we have brought it to the employees attention we were blown off each time. This isn't right! Please do something to make these animals lives better! Just cause they are rodents doesn't mean they should live this way!!!

okay we got there 10 minutes to 8:00 they run us out said they closing at 8 but the sign on the door said they close at 9:00 it was not friendly an short and smart with the words and not friendly at all so we probably won't go back just so u know we was about to spend 200 dollars thank you for your time12-6-23

Went in to get bulbs for my bearded dragon and I was lacking 72¢. She gave me time to run back to my car because there were only a few people in the store. I count it a good experience when I can come in, find what I need, pay & go.

This was sad I asked an employee if my kids could pet one of the hamsters 🐹 and said no I mean I would understand that if she said that the hamster was just too shy or something but instead she literally just no with a sassy 💁🏾‍♀️ Karen voice I’ll never forget you hamster. And also their fish tanks are highly poor I saw 3 dead beta fish and they acted like nothing happened THOSE ARE LIVING THINGS! Rip

I am highly disgusted at the fact that I opened the box to the feeder mouse I purchased and see him sitting in cigarette buds. Aside from not risking feeding a tobacco mouse to my snake, that is completely unacceptable conditions to put any animal in. To add on to the situation I went back and asked for either a new mouse or a refund, and when I explained the situation they said I was lying and that it couldn't have been them. I am beyond angry, not only because of the interaction at the store, but the way the mouse was packed in the box was horrible. The poor things eyes were driving him crazy. He's been given a new chance elsewhere to make up for those conditions.

Garabage store. But you shouldn’t expect much in Cleveland. If they mess up your order they charge you anyways and then when you come in to get YOUR money they only offer store credit. Shady. And I’ll be coming in to see Jim too. I got you buddy
