Very disappointed 😢 in my sweet pups grooming! She is a mixed breed (Yorkie & Poodle). I had to take her home and “fix” what I could only describe as a “hack-job” . I was so caught off guard by how my baby looked I cried all evening! Unfortunately, once the hair is cut…that’s it! They nicked her in several places & left her coat visibly uneven and just ragged. The sweet lady at the desk even said she thought I would be upset and not like it. Well…she was a hundred percent right! I didn’t & don’t like it, so I would never recommend taking your tiny (toy breeds) here.Fortunately, I cleaned her up myself as best I could. And I am NOT SKILLED at grooming in no way, but I had to do something to try & even out this wildly disturbing messy cut. Her feet were all completely uneven and a tiny mat above her toenail was ignored. I used scissors ✂️ to clean up the unevenness & her sanitary. Her face was not at all what I described that I wanted so I had to shape the face as best I could. As you can see in the BEFORE pics she had no definition to her face and body! The AFTER was a huge improvement especially giving a more rounded look to her tiny face. They nicked her nose and near her eye so there was little I could do for that. Well just wait for her to grow out and choose a groomer who is concerned about fulfilling the service requested.Kudos to the sweet lady at the front desk who did her best to help me. I appreciate the honesty & compassion she showed in advising to reach out if there was a problem. Thank you 🙏🏽 for the kindness.I understand people can have an “off” day or have a particularly hard time with an individual dog but if they thought I would not be happy with what they had done, they should have contacted me immediately & shown some sort of good faith toward me rather than just taking my money & hoping for the best! Not cool PET PALACE!

Our mini schnauzer Cookie loves to get groomed and loved on by staff at Pet Palace. We always board her here on trips and they send photos daily. She is happy to go when we drop her off and seems excited to play with other dogs while she is there. They are all very friendly and good to our little family member.

If I could give zero stars I would. Taylor is not good to your dogs. We had our two little ones going here and at first it was fine, until we noticed how terrified they would be when we picked them up. I specifically asked for my mini poodle to not be in the bar cages and to be in the room, the last day they went here they had her at the very top bar cage back in a room with cleaning supplies and she was trembling. She swung our other old dog around the door because she was mad with us. Now we catch her chasing a light brown schnauzer in the parking lot (the dog had a light pink vest on) I was able to catch her picking up the dog in the end and as you can see, she rough handles the dog. Look at the dog struggling. Taylor is awful especially with how much money you pay. Disgusting in these photos you can see her SLING THE PUPPY!!!! I have a video but it won’t let me leave a video review so I’ll just send it to the owner just BEWARE

If I could leave a -10 I would. We have taken our dog here 3 times - today being the 3rd. The first 2 times the groomer was to call us and discuss what type of cut. The groomer never called. Today the type of cut we were wanting was discussed however once again requests were ignored. The groomer called my husband to let him know she was too matted for the cut we wanted. She was not matted!!! I brushed her out twice in the last 9 days and was not matted. We were supposed to have a senior groomer but I am pretty sure the groomer we had was not knowledgeable in the type of cut requested so they called us and said she was too matted and the option was to just clean up her face and feet only or shave her down. We asked to have her shaved down BUT they shaved her face too!!! She is a Portuguese Water Dog that now looks like a mutt. I am completely disgusted! Yes it will grow back but the fact that they disregard, lie, and do what they seem fit is despicable and they lack integrity.

My mom took my two dogs to get groomed here. She had trouble with the scheduling and actually getting the services request which were a cut, bath, nails for one and a bath and nails for the other. They missed the dewclaws on both dogs. The haircut they have my long hair chihuahua was minimal and didn’t address any of his sanitary areas which was the whole point of the cut. My short hair chihuahua (13lbs) who just got a wash and nails done ended up with severe rash which lead to her skin peeling and hair loss. I don’t know what they could have done to mess up a simple bath. Did they leave a harsh soap on her too long? Did they place her in a kennel that had chemicals in it? It’s only in one area on her chest. I will continue to monitor but this might resort in vet bills. I’m extremely dissatisfied. If you can’t handle the small stuff then don’t offer the services.

How does a dog come home from being boarded with dog poop on his chest and belly?? I have been using Pet Palace in Sango for a while now with boarding when I go out of town. But for some reason, (2 days in to a 4-day boarding stay) I was texted about a grooming reminder appointment for Bailey the next day. I replied that I had not scheduled (or ever at that location) a grooming. Then a little later, a text came about Bailey getting a bath. I replied No, he’s not supposed to get a bath. Imagine my surprise when I picked him up, and they were charging me for Baileys bath that I assumed they gave him anyway. The employee took the charge off, because I told her that I had been texted about a bath, but told him he was not suppose to get a bath. Then, when I got in the car with Bailey, I realized how badly he smelled. But I was appalled when petting his chest in the car, that I felt something on his chest. It wasn’t til I got home that I realized he had dog poop on his chest and all on his belly!!! And poop or pee on all his paws. How does a dog get poop on his chest and belly??? I don’t know, but there’s no way I will be back. I can’t seem to shake the feeling of him being horribly neglected, at best!

After asking the staff multiple times not to place my pup with other dogs due to the fact he has breathing problems and when he plays or interacts with other dogs his breathing gets worst they did it anyway. Once we picked up our pup from this terrible place he was filthy, coughing uncontrollably and his nose was running like a water faucet. After transporting him to the animal hospital we received news that he has kennel cough. I honestly don’t recommend this place at all. Js! This is not the first time dealing with something like this with this place. If I’m paying for dog sitting services and I make a request, I expect for my request or suggestions about my DOG to be followed period. I don’t appreciate the bad services at all. Have a wonderful magnificent doggy day!

We've always taken our little one here to get his nails done and he's always looked forward to going, but I'm not sure if we're taking him back. Seems like they always have someone different doing the nails. The past 2 times we went they nipped him. But this last time she got him pretty good. He doesn't cry out for no reason. So we'll be taking him elsewhere for his nails.and this was so convenient too right around the corner from us.

Well this place normally does a good job grooming my dog. But this is the second time I’ve had an issue with no one paying attention to him when outside. One time he came home with a big scratch on his back. And they had no idea what happened. And now he comes home w swollen eyes and an itch…. Workers told me someone sprayed for bugs and he must have rolled in the poison!? Does no one pay attention to the dogs when they are outside?

Prices are not too bad for grooming. Staff is generally nice and try to be flexible with your needs. I have not boarded my dogs here so I can't help on that part.

Have been taking our dogs there for years. Never had any issues until this last visit. Bruno was taken in for an 8:30 in the morning appointment and they didn't call for hours. I called them around 1:00 in the afternoon to check and see what was going on. They told me they had just "forgotten" about him. Not a good sign. I got there, and I could hear him barking in the back. It was his "I have to go to the bathroom now!" bark. On top of that, he was limping badly on his front paw. They were supposed to trim all of his nails, but one on his left front paw was cut way too short. That was causing his limp. He struggled for several days until it finally healed enough that he could walk normally. Not only that, but they never even touched the claws on his back legs. When I took him out of the shop, he made a beeline for the grass and all but dragged me there so that he could use the bathroom finally.Not sure what's going on there, but things have definitely changed. We will not be going back.

I have been bringing my dogs here for years. My oldest passed away a few years ago and we’ve continued bringing our boxer to be groomed. This last appt, I dropped her off at 820 for her 830 appt. Had not heard anything for hours. My husband finally called at 130 to check on her and he was told that she was done but they had just forgotten to call us. I’m wondering just how long she would have sat there until someone decided to call or find out why she was still there. Once we got her home she went straight out to use the bathroom, then came back in and drank her entire bowl of water. Which means she had not been taken out or given any water for the 5 hours she had been there.

On May 26 they accidentally cut Shasta's ear. They agreed to reimburse me for any vet bills and called to tell me they would only charge for the bath. They didn't charge me when I picked her up, but I wasn't going to give them anything. I had to take off work to go to the vet, I had to make 2 trips to the vet because her ear would not stop bleeding, and then had to give her meds for the next week. Then I had to keep calling them about my reimbursement. I received the check in the mail on June 22. They never apologized, and they never followed up to ask if my dog was ok. After years of going there, I was highly disappointed.

We board our dogs Ranger and Darby there. The booking process is simple, I never worry about them not having space. They always accommodate our needs. (My dog Ranger has IVDD) so they allow him to have his crate and take him out separately. We love receiving picture updates and they are quick to call if they notice something off.

My dog has been groomed here before and we didn’t have any issues with his grooming. Thursday he was groomed again just prior to us needed to leave town for a funeral. As usual, they ask you to pay before they bring your pet, I gave a tip even though I don’t agree with tipping for a service you have not seen. I have disappointed that his grooming cost had increased approximately $30…They bring him out and tell me they couldn’t groom his back completely because of his allergy sores, which they were well aware of prior to taking him back to be groomed. As I walk him out to the truck and load him up, he didn’t have any smell of being bathed. I opted to not have the bandanna but approved the cologne, still smelled like he never had a bath.Having finally experienced the issue that so many others have complained about, I will never bring him back to this business. Had we not had to leave town for a funeral, I would have never left the parking lot with the issues that I had from out visit on Thursday.Future customers please beware and read the recent issues that customers are having before making your decision to do business here.

1) didn’t have paperwork for boarding after I made sure they were all filled out prior to dropping off our dog. I didn’t have the time to fill everything out again because we had a flight to catch. Then they found it.2). They never gave her the medication that we left, with instructions. Returned us the bottle with all pills like it was no big deal that they forgot or didn’t do it.3). Wanted the dog to have a bath and nails trimmed and nails weren’t trimmed. When asked, the groomer copped an attitude, saying that the dog wouldn’t let her do it and she needed someone to hold her while it was being done, and then was able to do it after I told her to. Also heard the groomer yelling at other dogs.4) They charged me for extra boarding time when the only reason I left her there was to get groomed.5) No manager or owner on site to answer any questions.If you love your pet, stay away from this place!!!!

My three dogs went for baths and nail trimmings. I asked for the nails to be grinders instead on cut and they cut them. They also informed me that they did not allow my dogs to use the bathroom nor did they give them water and they had them there for almost 5 hours. They smelled good but were still wet (not fully blow dried) and the price was good but not allowing them to use the bathroom, not trimming nails to my asking or have any water is what gives them the 3 star rating. The ladies were really nice as well though!

My senior dog recently had grooming services at this location. I dropped him off happy and normal only to be called two hours later saying my dog was not able to walk and very stressed. When I arrived my dog had scrapes and cuts to his legs/paws which could not be explained. I was quickly told by the staff that the owner would pay for any vet bill? I knew then something was very wrong. I had to carry my dog to the car and two weeks later he is taking three medications and still unable to walk. The vet says he suffered a slipped disc in his spine and the owner could only offer a frozen/chopped video saying her staff did not move him. I felt the owner was only concerned with what vet bill she may be responsible for, however I didn’t bother. I would advise anyone to think twice about using their services as my dog was in excruciating pain and they waited two hours before contacting me and could not tell me how my pet suffered the cuts/bleeding to his paws. I deeply regret bringing my dog in to this business.

Took our dogs here for Thanksgiving week. We have a small and large dog. They let us board them at the same facility even though they have a large and small dog facility. We reserved a condo for our large pup and room for our small pup, and 2 baths plus nails, teeth, and ears. We dropped out pups off, but before leaving asked to see them in their rooms. Both pups were in one room (not condo, but small room). We asked about that and were told they did not have a condo available. We had never left them alone together in a small area like that. It turns out they did great and it saved us money. But we will always ask to see them before we leave from now on. We did have lots of bags of food returned, so they either missed meals or were fed other food (hopefully the latter!) The grooming was good. I am particular about the nails and they were ground down very well.

We have been exclusive customers of Doggie Day Spa for almost 9 years. For the first seven years, our dog was known, warmly greeted and loved. The last two years I’m not sure we’ve seen the same groomer twice. At our last appointment in May 2021, we arrived a little early for a 7:30 AM appointment to a dark building and empty parking lot. By 7:30 four customers were waiting. Someone from an adjoining business came out and told us no one was there to open the business. I expected a phone call later in the day to apologize and reschedule. Several days later, we’ve received no communication to acknowledge, explain or apologize.

Took my girl here the day before yesterday for a “deluxe bath”, and to the vet yesterday. Obviously she looked and smelled nice and fresh after her time at Doggie Day Spa, but I didn’t check the critical areas thoroughly (ears, skin, privates, paws, etc...). After her vet examined those areas carefully she informed me that Lilly looked as fresh and meticulously cleaned as any dog she has seen, and I never even mentioned she was given a bath at the groomer the day prior. Also note, this wasn’t even a grooming, it was merely a bath. It was also her first bath in a couple of months. Needless to say I was very impressed with Doggie Day Spa’s attention to detail, and their willingness to place a premium on having your pet comfortable in the coming season, in this case Summer. Highly recommend this establishment for a great value and personalized experience.
