Mikaela’s Mutt Motel is the best rescue I have seen! I have been working with local rescues since 2009. I have never seen someone put so much effort love and care in to these animals. They are caring for them around the clock. They will even help their adopters get them back if they were to escape their new home due to doors being left open. They were out tracking a dog for 10 days! Lost countless hours of sleep! I have NEVER SEEN THAT! They take in the hardest cases, even the ones people say to euthanize due to behavior. Once a dog is in their care they are with the dog for the life of the animal! Each dog is professionally evaluated for their behavior and trained by a certified trainer. The trainer even comes to your house after you adopt to follow up and make sure you have everything you need for you and your new friend! I work at a shelter and we’ve received SO much help from Mikaela and her team! If we have a dog we can’t adopt out to due specific rules she’s always there to help. Whether it be getting us in contact with a reputable rescue or taking the dogs herself she’s always there to help us! She finds the best homes for her dogs and treats them as if they were her own. There’s no one I would trust more with rehoming or caring for dogs. Dogs that have issues at the shelter usually forget those issues when they get to her because she’s literally just that good at making dogs feel comfortable in her care. I HIGHLY recommend Mikaela’s Mutt Motel to anyone.

I can’t give them enough stars! The love and devotion they show for these dogs is incredible. The transformations and second chances mean everything not only to the dogs but to Mikaela. Her heart is pure and does this because it’s truly her passion. I love following her stories or triumphs. If only the world had more humans willing to give their hearts to furbabies like she does- what a beautiful world it would be! Thank you for all that you do always! We got our baby dog Macaroni from Mikaela's Mutt Motel! Mac was neutered, up to date on his shots and even microchipped. Mikaela's Mutt Motel took care of everything. They even sent home food and toys and a blanket! They were so nice. Rescuing dogs is their passion and it shows.

We adopted our newest fur baby, Cooper, from Mikaela back in august and the whole process was amazing. Mikaela was so helpful and willing to answer any questions we had on temperament, previous care etc. She allowed us to bring our other dog and make sure Cooper was going to be a good fit. He is the piece of our family we didn't even know was missing and we are forever grateful that Mikaela's Mutt Motel rescued him and allowed us to be his forever home. If you are looking to rescue a dog, this is the place to go! All dogs are up to date on vaccines and cleared by a vet before finding their new homes. It's very obvious that Mikaela does this because she truly loves these animals. We will definitely be adopting another dog from her in the future!

I adopted a FANTASTIC fur baby from Mikaela a few weeks ago. I should have left her a review ages ago but I've been busy loving on our new baby thanks to her and her organization. She was so unbelievably sweet and helpful and she did wonders with our baby boy. Thanks to her his life was saved. She is an angel and I hope I can support her more in the future.
