We went there specifically to the meat department to buy short ribs. After finding them, we noticed the packages expired the day before, so we asked the meat department person for a discount. He collected all of the packages, including out two, and walked away. He went to the back, turned off the light, and then walked away without saying one word to us. We left and went to a competitor down the street who was happy to cut fresh short ribs for us with a pleasant attitude. I have been to this location several times and rarely is it a pleasant experience. This Kroger suffers severely from a lack of customer service and positivity from the employees. I don't plan to go back and I do not recommend this Kroger.

This is a very nice store visually. I stop here to buy pastries for my staff. The only issue is they only have pastries when the "one" baker they have shows up for work. Unfortunately this baker misses a lot of work and the shelves are empty. This is very disappointing and unprofessional. Speaking with management does nothing. I guess we will take our business elsewhere.....The photo that was added to this review was taken 4 days later. Still no product on the shelf.Extremely poor business and lack of customer service.Very disheartening.

7:30pm, No cashiers whatsoever, self checkout only. Never experienced this at a grocery store before, I would not have gotten a full cart of groceries if I knew this was how they do things here.Found that there was 1 cashier after waiting through the self checkout line.Avoid this grocery store.

Kroger was wonderful. I made a mistake and went to the wrong self-checkout. instead of ignoring me and or making me go to a different one the guy watching over the machines was very friendly. he grabbed my bags for me and then he went and cashed me out up in the front where he was. it was one of the best experiences I've had at Kroger ever. Thank you so much for again not letting me down Kroger! 😁

Always a good experience, the food is fresh and everything is kept in stock well.Since they redid their parking lot and store front the parking is even better than it was before

Too many items are out of stock on the shelves. There were only three registers and part of the self-checkout open on a busy Sunday afternoon. The line was backed up all of the way around the corner and into the cheese area. As we were checking out, the cashier commented that their hours have been cut, which explains why the line was so insanely long and there was no one to open additional registers. They could have at least opened the rest of the self-checkout.

Today I shopped and noticed pets are allowed here but was flabbergasted when these two pet owners one may of been a service dog but the dog licked the butter and the shelf thank goodness I just had lefted got mine where the lower shelf the Kroger brand ohh my then the lady had her dog sitting in the top of basket where children sit and most time I put purse and may even lay my groceries there this awful just don't like my opinion allow pets there if not supervised !!!

The store is very poorly organized and the self check out is horrific! You have to scan items then walk down and bag them when it gets too full then walk back and scan more and go back and bag them and then walk back to the keypad to swipe your card and pay! And overall I paid triple the price of Walmart for a weeks worth of groceries.

The pharmacy used to be great, but the last few months have gone downhill. Tell me how you LOSE A PAPER SCRIPT??!!! You have one job, to fill perceptions. And tell me how there's nothing you can do except "call the doctor " . tell me how you have staff to do that, but you don't have staff to have the drive thru open at 4:15pm...? Makes NO sense. Strongly considering taking out business elsewhere.Edit to add- I will be taking my business elsewhere after Shelby the pharmacy manager, pretty much called me a liar about the above situation. And how it was a he said, she said situation and her staff is telling her otherwise. Why would i lie? Why would i make up a situation about getting my dogs seziures medication ?? Pretty poor customer service.

I found everything eventually. It's not easy to navigate. It doesn't seem to flow. I wandered a lot even with the directory signs, it feels like the floor plan is chaotic.

Kroger at this location is screwing up their costumers with the meat prices. Reduced meat is more expensive than it was a few days ago. Chicken breast packages get weight with the packaging even if it clearly states the price of the net weight. Almost an extra lbs just for the packaging. The chicken breast were 3.6 lbs and i should have paid $7.04 but got charged over $8.xx

Do not go to this location after 5pm. This isn’t the first time I’ve came later on in the day and it’s been completely disgusting. NO ONE wants to shop at a place like this. We literally had to push our cart over and around things until we decide to just leave the more filth I seen the more I wanted to leave! Tried talking to the manager but she didn’t seemed to concerned. Corporate needs to see this mess!

I used to love Krogers because their deals were comparative, but the management of this store is clearly lacking. They have one cashier, and all the self checkouts are slow when it's only a little cooler than outside at 95 degrees. Suddenly, several employees pop out of the break room to get people moving through checkouts after we've been waiting for a while. One employee remarks how much cooler it is in their breakroom compared to the rest of the store, not really what you would want to hear after waiting for such a long time. Our milk carton was sweating in the checkout line, and I'm not completely sure that the meat cooler was at proper temperature. I'm not sure who in their right mind would allow so many people to take a break at such a busy point, but that's a horrible way of managing time. Negligent customer service during rush hour, however, is a great way to lose customers. With the prices of goods going up, I don't plan to scan and bag my own groceries. I'm not getting paid to do it, nor am I being offered a discount to do so. Do better, Kroger. I'll be at Publix.

Since I was in here Kroger’s has added new checkout lanes and I love it! This particular day it wasn’t too busy so I was able to shop efficient for the items I needed. Looks as if it’s been updated in the Organic section. However, I purchased the same brand hot dogs somewhere else and the ones at Kroger’s had a different consistency than the other store.You will definitely save money and earn fuel points by shopping here.As a Cincinnati native, they should carry Gold Star Chili 🌶️

Just want to give a special THANK YOU to Melanie.Unfortunately, my son had situation requiring medication that is time sensitive. I was not able to get the prescription at any local pharmacy, which put me in a panic. I reached out to Kroger pharmacy, and not only did they have the Rx in stock, Melanie with out me asking went above and beyond to obtain the transfer from the original pharmacy. Most pharmacist will just say "call your doctors office" but she really was kind and attentive.

This is not the grocery store to go to if you’re disabled or otherwise need a motorized cart. The carts are never kept indoors, they’re either never charged or never working, and the staff doesn’t step up to help you find a replacement, even if you ask. Try your luck with another store or ordering online, because this one is not for you.

I personally love the sushi they make at this location and always have a decent selection if you're in time to select what you want before the end of the day. Seems to be popular! I bought Happy Heart Platter #2, which has 3 different kinds of sushi to choose from. Delicious 😋

I have nothing against Kroger's but they're gas department. The one that sits outside nobody was there and when I use my debit card I guess somebody hacked the system cuz it cost me 2300 for gas didn't find out my car was locked until I try to purchase something from another store and then when I called to confront my bank they said they're not going to be open until Monday. So imagine that your debit card don't work and no gas in my truck. And no cash So yes, I was stuck on the side of the road for a little bit less and learn

Kroger on Madison please. This store is too small for the amount of shoppers that come in. The atmosphere is not nice. They don't have much in stock.Stuff is also priced wrong on the shelves - the employees get huffy if you ask them to double-check a price, even though I asked nicely. I then asked to have an item taken off my scanned items when I was in the store after they refused to match the listed sale price tagged on the shelf.This is just not a nice place to shop.

I love Kroger. They have a great selection of items, the food is fresh and the employees are friendly. They always take care of me. Whether I’m coming in the store or I’m placing an order for pick up. Not everyone has a grocery store that is clean, well stocked and reasonably priced. And they were open on Thanksgiving day. Wow. I don’t take for granted the blessing that you are to our city and community. Thank you for your service. ❤️
