While the workers here in this Kroger can be the most pleasant and heart-warming service workers in all of Clarksville, I've recently overheard and experienced the absolute horror as to why a lot of the younger (and some older) employees perform so well.The Management Team that mostly lie behind that coded door in the front are a den of malicious and outlandishly mean-spirited people that I've ever had the unfortunate experience of overhearing during my shopping experience. They not only talk down to some of the nicest and hardest working people in the store, but gaslight them into believing they're the problems that happen behind those sliding glass doors.Words cannot describe the absolute gall of some of the people there, including their newest GM. Befriending the staff that work in this pavilion of hate, which is only masked by the pained grins and forced kindness of the workers, I found the Management have neglected their own personal duties to offer support to different departments around the store. Playing favorites is almost a second language to these snakes in human skin as I also found they force employees to work passed their normal working hours daily, only to then scorn and penalize the employees that follow this order - save for only two workers: one cashier and one that works in the back-dock of the store.Pray for the folks that work here and know that some are still trying to free themselves from the Managers they're unfortunately working under.

While shopping here, we experienced Molded food in multipe parts of the store which I was kind enough to bring to the employees attention. Instead of taking care of it all they just kind of shrugged it off like it wasn’t a big deal and left someone it where it sat. During the shopping trip I came across moldy Lemons, tomatoes, grapes, raspberries, and strawberries. If that was not bad enough I came across some beans in the fridge that had been so old that the had become filled with brown liquid and ruptured the bottom of the bag and begun leaking all over the fresh mushrooms and fresh cut watermelon. Upon bringing this to their attention they said the stuff it leaked on was fine because it was covered in cling wrap. When I brought it to the managers attention he said that I am a customer and he knows what he is doing and that he didn’t appreciate me telling him how to do his job because I told him the stuff needed to be thrown away. The management here is awful and treats customers like garbage lol and let’s just say I’ll be sending a report over to the health department for the condition this shopping center is in. Obviously he doesn’t know what he is doing because he has moldy food all over his store.

Also when checking out one of the employees mentioned that he was a new manager and he is changing everything, the employees are not allowed to have water at there checkout station as well as can’t have a fan no matter how hot it is in the store. let’s just say I’ll be sending a report over to the health department for the condition this shopping center is in. Obviously he doesn’t know what he is doing because he has moldy food all over his store. If I was a secret shopper or from the food department, this store would be getting multiple citations.

This store is the better one in town,BUT the number of people who extend the parking lot into the fire lane is insane. Entire signs and markings saying no parking,but nobody does anything about it. Not super safe for wheelchair users leaving the store.

Great.... I saved $120 dollars... With my double points, digital deals and it being Wednesday..... Wow. I love the meat and produce department. The store is always clean which I appreciate.

My favorite of all Kroger locations in this small city. Store is almost always clean, the prices are just right and is further helped by great deals and sales, and lastly the employees and the manager are real friendly and just overall fun folks! Recommended. 👌👌👌

I don't like the new Kroger's the stuck is not dead to say it is the prices are not on the items so you pay more than they say it is the sales prices assistant right when you go in the out of the grocery list is not a good store no more

Love this Store but the Rude Sushi got to get better. Why get made and catch an attitude. At Kroger off of Maddison they make Veggie Rolls with crunch for people who don't eat meat or fish. Well here the gentlemen rudely says they don't do that... I have even gotten that here before, someone had a bad day, well so did I thanks to you

We got harassed in the parking lot, and when we went inside to get groceries there was beef jerky that was molded and produce as well.. not to mention feeling unsafe when the intercom makes safely announcements.

I was just in there to buy boars head lunch meat and was told the deli is stillOpen for 5 more minutes but the young lady working would not slice any for me because she cleaned the slicers early. She was short ppl to work and she had been alone since 3:30. It wasn’t even seven yet, that was her excuse for not slicing meat. This is the second time I have been told at the deli they don’t have enough ppl to work the deli and couldn’t serve me then either. Not acceptable to have a deli and not slice lunch meat.

Except Darin, my husband is handicapped and has to use a shopping cart to help him stand, and Darin (who is now a manager for some reason) pulled the shopping cart away from my husband more than once. Not sure he should be a manager.

Ryan was bagging a customer in front of us and his customer service so so phenomenal I had to leave a review for them. He had run to swap out an item for them and with a store packed full of Christmas eve shoppers too. All so they didn't have to go back for it themselves and wait again in another 30 minute line. I thought that was awesome. Merry Christmas.

I pass two other stores just to go to this Kroger. The employees are very helpful and the store is nice. One of the front end employees always makes me smile because he is always upbeat, I could be having the worst day and after going in to get a soda I leave with a smile and my day is a little better.

Customer service is great! The presentation of the food and prices are impressive and they have a complimentary cutie or banana in the produce section for your child while you shop which is nice if they are hungry and they need a small, quick and healthy snack. I don't shop here often but I will definitely be coming back.

Verbal racism witnessed. I normally don’t shop here, for the very reason of what I witnessed today 7/21-2022. I and my family witnessed a white male manager racially insult a young black girl whom is a bagger. Whose won’t say other than “I”. He said to her “ how would you like it if I told you your hair looks like steel wool. I felt I should have said something but instead I will not go back This only proves my point they are racists. I encourage people of color not to shop here. I plan to seek justice against Kroger’s.

I went to the gas station at about 1:10pm today to buy some cigarettes. I asked for a carton and the lady said she didn’t have any. I asked if she had any packs and she acted like it was an inconvenience to turn around and look. She finally looked and said yes, I asked how many she had she told me 6, 7, 12 she didn’t know she didn’t want to count (seriously, that is what she told me). I know she has a hard job but really customer service goes a long way!
