I had my dog groomed here this week and she came out completely shaved.I have a bernedoodle that is groomed every 6-8 weeks and has been since 16 weeks old. I keep her longer on her body because I love the fluff and we have found a routine to keep the fur maintained with no knots. I even took a video the night before paranoid about going to a new groomer while ours is out of town. I realize that doodle owners have a bad rap and don’t want to be looped in with neglectful owners.I asked for a shaved face but to leave her ears and head alone, along with leaving her tail alone and to please not shave her body but I was not picky on length as long as it was no shorter than a Knuckle. I dropped her off at 7 am and received a call at 7:08 to clarify on the length that I wanted her body where I repeated I was not picky as long as she was not shaved and I wanted her at least a knuckles length. The lady said she understood and made notes. I received a text at 4:19 that she was ready and I was able to pick her up. When I arrived I found her completely shaved. In my pregnancy hormonal stage I did not react nicely to the new front desk lady but I apologized profusely to her once calmed down because she had nothing to do with it. I debated posting this because of her kindness however I want other owners to be aware. I did receive 50% off service. I do not believe that it makes up for the face they had no communication between groomer and front desk and that they butchered the cut from what I asked.Before and after photos posted.

We boarded our dog Cash for the first time last week when we went out of the country. Kathy’s was absolutely amazing with him! He gets nervous and anxious and they were great handling him. He came back so happy! They answered all of our questions and calls and lord knows we had a few lol. This place was great and we’re very glad we found them! Thank you so much for taking care of our baby!

Took my dog sunny there last month. While my dog has sadly passed recently, and we have also moved for the military, if we ever get stationed at fort Campbell again, we will absolutely be taking all our pets to Kathies. I also saw a video recently that looked like the building got demolished, sadly, by a tornado. If it needs to be rebuilt, I truly hope they DO rebuild. Kathies is the best boarding place I've ever heard of, let alone had the privilege to work with our pet. Thank you all for the love and care you gave Sunny. We will always remember and value all of you for the love and care you gave her, as well as how professional and appreciative you were to my wife and I! Truly the best.

if i could give 0 stars i would.we were recommended by a friend to board our dog here while we were out of town, and now i wish we would’ve just brought him with us. you have to create an online portal for you & your dog, which i liked & was glad there were spaces to put in any allergies or behavioral issues, etc, they also have a spot where they are supposed to upload pictures and report card during the stay.. i specifically put on his allergies that he is very sensitive to food & to only feed him the food that was packed for him & that treats were okay to give to him.We dropped him off Friday morning, with plenty of his own food & he stayed until Monday evening, & was also supposed to be groomed on Sunday before we picked him up. When we picked him up Monday evening, they stated the power was out all weekend and all day monday, and they didn’t have time to groom him, which we were never made aware of & now i wonder what they did with all the animals during the 4 days they claimed to not have power. they also didn’t send us back any of his food which there should’ve been plenty left over; not thinking much of it, we brought him home & he has been lethargic, absolutely no appetite, & also having severe diarrhea for 3 days now since we picked him up. We weighed him on Monday night & he had lost over 5lbs in just 3 days. I am so upset because I know that they did not feed him his food or he wouldn’t be having any bowel issues. They did not make us aware of them being out of power for over 3 days and never sent us one picture of him the whole stay or gave us any updates while he was there. I will never take my dog back here!

Kathy is so nice and hardworking! I left my dog there for daycare, and when she came back, she had a big doggy smile on her face. She also had so much fun playing with the other dogs, that she didn’t tear up my house like she normally does. 5/5 stars from me!!

This is our puppies favorite place in the whole world! He has friends that he plays with, and the staff is amazing! I love that whoever's checks us out in the evening, knows how he did that day and who he played with. This has helped us so much with training, social skills, and overall pack placement. Our olds stay at home and nap all day, while the baby (Odin) gets to run and play and act like a lunatic ♡ 5 stars 10/10 recommend this place!

My dogs love Kathy's! We've been using the daycare services for over 2 years and have been happy the whole time. The employees love my boys and the boys are always happy and tired from playing when I pick them up. We have also used their boarding services and grooming. I think since it's a familiar place with familiar people the boys do really well there when staying overnight and when getting groomed. This photo was taken by Kathy's and posted to Facebook. 😀❤

They are more than just a place to drop off your dog. We got her back so fluffy after her bath there, anddd they cleaned her ears! I would highly recommend this place if you’re in the Fort Campbell area!

BEWARE...WILL ACCEPT APPOINTMENTS ON WEBSITE FOR A BATH AND UPON ARRIVAL WILL TURN YOU AWAY SAYING THERE WAS NO WAY AN APPOINTMENT WAS MADE. I WAS HERE 10 YEARS AGO AND USE TO TAKE MY DOGS TO HER ALL THE TIME, EVEN THE FOSTER PUPS FROM THE HUMAN SOCIETY. BUT THE WELCOMING I GOT TODAY ILL BE SURE TO LET EVERYONE I KNOW HOW UNWELCOMING IT WAS WHEN I ARRIVED. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

MY DOG DIED WITHIN HOURS OF PICKING HIM UP.Short version: I boarded my 2 year old dog with them before. Before going into their care, he had a physical that day and was in perfect health. Within their care he dropped 10% body weight (he was only there for a week). Upon pickup he looked emaciated, tail between legs, and his demeanor was sad. You could tell he was not well. We took him straight to the vet and he died within 24 hrs of picking him up. The vet suspected antifreeze poisoning.When the owner has seen me warn others, she threatens slander. However, it's not slander when it's what happened and I still have the vet records. At the time she was not empathetic to my dog's death and was terrible to deal with.Not only that, the reason I boarded with them so our 2 dogs could be in same kennel together. However they weren't boarded together as when we picked them out, only one was brought out to us and the staff looked confused when we asked for out other dog.I will always warn other against Kathy's Pampered Paws.

These people really love pets and they go all the way to help as much as they can. They took care of my pet on many occasions. I would recommend them to anyone and definitely use their services again and again!

Would not recommend. We boarded our dog for several days and he returned smelling like pee and was sick for 2 weeks with some sort of respiratory infection. He had lost weight and did not receive adequate care. The staff are very friendly but our dog did not receive quality care unfortunately. We would not recommend boarding your dog here.

I chose to board here because of the high number of great reviews. I wish I would have read deeper into the bad reviews. My dog boarded for 9 days at Kathy’s and was scheduled to get the bath and brush package on pickup day. During his stay I received 3 report cards, far fewer than I should have received, and one of those simply said they were short staffed and busy for the holiday so no update or pictures. When I arrived to pick him up they told me they nicked the quick on his nail trim and his paw was discolored from the powder they use to stop bleeding. I was appreciative they gave me a heads up. In the car his paw bled all over the seats and continued to bleed for over 24 hours. When I followed up with them about it they acted like it is a common thing and they could put more powder on it to try and stop the bleeding. After taking him to vet we learned they “nicked” 3 nails far beyond the quick! We are now 13 days from pickup and he is very ill with kennel cough even though he was vaccinated. Do not use this place if you love your pet.

I really love Kathy's pamper paws my dog has been going to Kathy's for about 3 months. It's a great place for grooming, boarding and daycare. I use the daycare every week and grooming and soon boarding services. And it's very reasonable pricing. ❤️❤️❤️

They really took good care of my cat Shadow for 5 days. It was honestly the last minute place before I left out of state. It was honestly a tassel trying to get him back home and he almost acted like nothing happened during those 5 days. He's a stressed out cat won't let anyone touch him expect when I'm around or whenever he is at home (sometimes). But I'm really glad they took care of him.If I could put more than 5 stars I would.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My daughter in law was in the hospital giving birth to our grand baby. My son left our grand puppy at this place. He's never stayed with anyone before. He has always been a happy boy, but we picked him up he's like a totally different pup! He had his collar was on so tight we had to cut it off. There was no way to take it off but over his head but it was way to tight for that! SO HOW DID YHEU GET IT ON!!?? We took him to the vet and he lost 5.2 lbs. He's traumatized! I am so disturbed with how he is behaving now so was his vet.He obviously had a negative experience Kathy's Prison Camp. I would NOT take my grand pup back to this place. I would NOT take my own fur babies to this place nor do I recommend this place!

We brought our baby here for a 6 night stay. From the pictures I could tell he was having a great time playing with the other pups. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because he came back with a bad case of kennel cough even though he is vaccinated. I've boarded him at other locations before and I have not had this issue. Most places I have boarded him at in the past require the kennel cough vaccine, but I don't believe Kathy's Pampered Paws requires that one. If they start requiring it, I would love to bring him back. The staff seems so loving and caring.

I used to work here. I wouldn’t bring my animals here. Here’s what they do when they give your dogs baths. They lock them up in a cage and leave the blower on in the room. Which can cause an animal to be sick. Not only that but my ex co workers can’t seem to read a dogs body language so a lot of uncalled for doggie altercations happened. None EVER on my watch. Just be careful if you take your cats and dogs here. Don’t even get me started on where they keep the cats. It’s a small room with like 4 caged areas and it smells so bad of cat pee. They also had an outbreak of kennel cough about a year ago and had to separate the dogs in quarantine and what not. So if your doggy got kennel cough it was probably from here. Also the owner miss Kathy, does not care about the upkeep of her “facility” and frankly doesn’t care about the animals which she has shown over and over. All she cares about is a pay check.

I used to bring my dog here for daycare, and I will say that the daycare option does seem to be okay, but do not board your dogs here if you care for their health and safety. Just spent 600 dollars at the vet for my dog to get rehydrated and was told that he hasn’t eaten in the last three days. When I called Kathy’s and asked what was going on, they said they didn’t know and that my dog was fine during his stay. Well his electrolytes and liver enzymes were low, and he went from 52 pounds (weighed right before he left for boarding) to just under 48 pounds in three days. I’ve had issues with them in the past about lying about the services I paid for, but nothing ever this bad. I was never contacted about any of this, and had to call trying to find out what happened, only to get told that the owner would call me back in 3-7 days. This is ridiculous, it’s one thing for busy employees to miss one or two things, but my dog was mistreated for several days and they didn’t even have the decency to be upfront about it. Bloodwork and lab results don’t lie, but the employees here do.

I have used Kathys for years with all of the dogs that we have had. We have never had any issues with them staying or any special requests that we have made. My puppers are always clean and happy when we return. The staff is SO friendly and understand that this is our family that we are leaving in their care. I will continue until I am proven otherwise. Thank y’all for all you do!!!

My fur babies stayed over thanksgiving and had the best time. It was great to get pictures and reports about them while we were gone. They even made paw print turkeys that we now have proudly displayed in our home. Will definitely be using them again!

We love Kathy’s pampered paws for boarding our 3 dogs! They give us the best options/pricing for boarding our pups, and I love the action shots we always get to see of them at playtime! Have been taking my dog here since last summer and we have always had a great experience! She comes back so happy and exhausted. Everyone is super friendly and remembers her, which makes me feel so great about leaving her there! She has attended daycare and been boarded multiple times :)

One of the best pet boarding places i have ever used. They always remember us and our dogs are always happy to go here again and again. They also have an awesome doggy daycare service which helps keep our canine companions happy and socially engaged. I have been using Kathy's for 6 years and I keep coming back for a reason.

Gave this place two tries for grooming. Both bad. The first time they forgot to trim nails with the full service grooming. I pointed it out to the lady at the front desk. She apologized and then tried to cut the nails herself because the groomer was gone for the day. By that point, the dog had been through enough so I just took her home. I figured it was a mistake and gave them another try. The second time—After drop off, I got a call and they let me know that she was too matted and they couldn’t keep her length and they were going to charge me extra. Pretty standard, but why charge someone extra if you’re just buzzing her? Usually they charge extra if they spend extra time getting the mats out. But I say that’s fine as long as they don’t shave her down to the skin. They said that they wouldn’t. Well I show up and they did shave her down to the skin but kept the hair on her head and tail a fuller long length. It looked absolutely ridiculous. I stated that I was not happy and this was not what we had talked about. The women at the front desk tried to blend out the cut but at this point, the damage was done. They proceeded to charge me the full amount plus extra. They said I could come back when the groomer was there and try to fix it. That’s nice, but I’m basically tired of having to drive across town and pay $60 for a bad service. Plus they shaved my dog—what are they going to fix?

Reservation super easy. Staff very polite. My dog stayed over the Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately my dog came home with Kennel Cough and lost one pound. Yes... he had the bordetella vaccine. This was the first time using this boarding facility. I had a bad feeling when they told me the kennel cough vaccine wasn't required. Also a bad feeling when they specified not bringing personal bedding. The boarding facility I used in AZ allowed personal bedding and required kennel cough vaccine. My dog never came home sick in AZ. I won't be using Kathy's Pampered Paws again. I will say I appreciated the one picture they sent of him during his stay.
