I have to brag on the cashier April at Food Lion on Hwy 48/13! I couldn't find what I was looking for so she walked with me all through the store to try and find it. She even asked the manager and went back again to try and find it (we never did; must have been out of it). April went above and beyond trying to help me instead of just pointing me in the right direction! They need more employees like April!!

Food Lion is one of the few grocery stores that still employs enough cashiers and doesn't have self checkout. I enjoy grocery shopping when I'm not forced to be an unpaid employee. The store is well stocked with a wide variety of items. It's always clean and the employees are courteous.

The prices are better than a lot of other places in the employees have always been kind and courteous to me. The isles are always clear of clutter. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh. Usually the store is well stocked until recently some items have been hard to find.

Food lion is a great place to shop on the sout side of the river. They have namebrand foods at good prices. The cashiers and baggers are nice and all are helpful. The store stays well stocked and has plenty of parking.One thing to know is while they sell beer they don't sell wine. You have to go into town for that ( take it up with the city and county. That's a law that needs to change).

This is probably one of the last great grocery stores out there. Very friendly and helpful staff. The store is always neat and properly stocked. The deli employees are always awesome. I go here at least once a week. They're a little more expensive than Kroger or Walmart, but they make up for it with great customer service.

Fell in the store with no wet floor sign, no warning from the employee who was standing there for that reason, and was ignored after my husband helped me up by 3 different employees. Management lied saying employee was new and didn't know what to do. My husband is in there almost EVERY single Sunday. He most certainly is NOT a new employee. No call from management the next day as I was told. No concern for regular customers nor apology from incompetent employee who ignored me and the situation as I was filling out the accident report. Lucky I am just extremely sore and didn't bust my head on the checkout. Major lawsuit waiting to happen. We will be taking our weekly shopping elsewhere as they do not care about their customers being injured in store and offered nothing in response to the incompetent employee.

This place is always dirty. The staff doesn’t like to work. Ask for manager and he told me to wait like 15 minutes and he would be up. Oh I’m sorry I’m not important enough to deal with.

They have stroller friendly carts! I never knew they existed till here. I wish other places have them, and they have foods that other places don’t that we were looking for.

Food lion has a great meat department. The store is clean, well organized, never any overstock on the floors. They have a deli area of fresh cooked food. Large parking lot with handicap,and pick up order parking. Many of the staff members I remember when food lion was located in Ft.Camp by Queen City. If you are searching for a specific product you will more than likely find it there.

The Prices are cheap and affordable, they have really kind employees. But their’s one problem, the bathroom is not clean at all. When I was there a couple days ago the toilets were musty and the sink looked like someone had slottered in it. And there was no toilet paper or paper towels. I still like their kind employees I just hate the fact that their bathroom is not at all good. Overall the entire rest of the store is clean and the shelves and well organized.

This store is always clean. Shelves are always front faced properly. They have a variety of mark downs on meat, summer item's. The floors are shiny -free from scuffs this store is well taken care of. It's about a 20 minute drive from my home. But is worth it, the cashiers are "nice" but seem to have a nonchalant disposition. They say hello, but doesn't strick me and genuine. I give them 4 stars out of 5 stars.

Very clean store with a lot of selection, sometimes food not found in Big Box markets. Prices are comparable. Produce is fresh. And it's the only store in my area that does not have a self service cash register. There's always a live cashier.

The staff is always friendly every time I have visited and the store itself is always clean and tidy. When I ask questions to the employees about where items are located, where is the restroom, etc., The employees are always knowledgeable of the location of the items and they always have smiles on there faces no matter what time of day/night it might be.

Great deals. I ran in for a few items from produce and they didn't have any of the items I was looking for..,..chives and a purple onion. They do have a great selection of dressings and if you have a Courtesy Card, you can get great discounts.

Store is spacious and bright. Big parking lot but kinda hard to get out because of the traffic on 48/13. Might be better when they finally get the road done. I shop here all the time. Only problem is there is never anyone to help you find stuff or reach the top shelf for you. I have to go find a tall person shopping to please help me. They never have stock boys around, never have boxes blocking the aisles, but I wish they would at least have someone to roam around the store and be available to help with anything. They don't even have anyone to help take your groceries out so if you are going to need help, you are better off going up the road to Hilltop. Lol

I was so surprised by this store! First, it is SO clean. Second, the staff is incredibly friendly and available. Third, there is so much available!! It's like another world compared to the other side of town.
