We feel very lucky to have been referred to Dr. Kemp and the wonderful staff (especially Katlynn ) at Family Pet Hospital. We were new to the area two years ago and they were very welcoming. Most recently Buddy my Boston Terrier had a minor eye injury and was well taken care of by both Dr. Kemp and Staff.I would recommend this Office for any of your Fur Babies.Paula C.

Staff and doctor went out of their way to problem solve with me about an issue and went out of their way to accommodate me. I’ve been using Family Pet hospital for about 10 years and they consistently provide compassionate care to my pets. We lost our dog last year and at Christmas received a card signed by staff with condolences and memories. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture, which further demonstrates their care and concern. Now we have a new puppy that will no doubt receive high quality care and safe boarding.

They have taken the time to educate us on anything involving the condition and betterment of all of our pets. Earlier this week I took my 6 month old puppy to be spayed at Family Pet Hospital. I had been taking my dog to another Vet in the area, but the price they quoted me for a spay was higher than expected and they recommended we wait longer than I was comfortable with to have her spayed. The staff at Family Pet Hospital were very informative and kind throughout the entire process. Their pricing was more than fair (in my opinion) and they did a fantastic job with our pup. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Vet office in the area.

We have been going to Family Pet Hospital for 12 plus years. We would not go anywhere else. They are part of our dog’s family. They are kind, compassionate, friendly, and professional. I don’t know what we would do without them. Dr Kemp, Izzy and Erica to name a few have been with us and Fergus and Pip and Sophie and Tito thru sickness and health, I guess our family is kind of married to the entire staff ;0). We just had our 6 cats in for their annual check up’s. Dr Kemp is always amazing , kind and caring to our fur babies. Our technicians Jenni and Erica were equally fantastic and loved on our cats the whole visit and made them feel as comfortable and relaxed as they could .They always treat our kitties like they would their own . We would highly recommend Family Pet and will continue to use their services for the foreseeable future!

I have had nothing but great care from Family Pet. I have two senior dogs and they require medications and office visits fairly often. The staff and vets have always been great. They let me know how much treatment is going to cost before proceeding and always follow up if my dogs are sick or injured. My most recent visit Vet Techs Katlynn and Kaitlyn were very helpful in answering my questions and are always kind to me and my dogs.

This pet hospital is awesome. I recently had to take my babygirl to the vet for an eye ulcer (tears!). I must admit I was as nervous as my furbaby upon arrival, but the staff eased our stress. Specifically Dr. Engle and Ms. Jenni were phenomenal. They both were nice and their aura was so peaceful. My babygirl, who is usually extremely shy, even cat-kissed Ms. Jenni (tears of joy).Thank you Family Pet Hospital for making our experience peaceful during such a stressful moment.

I’m so glad me and my wife found this vet office. Dr. Engles has been very patient and answers any question we have about our pet. She is lovely to talk to and everyone made us feel very comfortable. This is the place to take your furry family members! The veterinarians, the support staff, everyone that you come in contact with are simply the best. They genuinely care for and love your pets. They're friendly, professional, they're everything you want in a team taking care of patients that can't tell them what's wrong or where it hurts. The facility is clean. The parking is easy. There's a place for pets to relieve themselves. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere but here. I can only speak about dogs-they're awesome with our puppies. They consoled us when we lost our Sasha and grieved with us.

After visiting two other veterinarians in town I came here with a near emergency situation with my older dog. These guys got us in quickly on a Saturday without an appointment. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable and knew exactly what was going on within minutes of seeing our old friend.The doctor prescribed medicine for our situation and did not try to sell us on additional tests of medication we did not need (unlike most vets I have been to).Friendly, caring and mindful of out pet's needs. These guys just won over a new customer.UPDATE:I personally want to thank all the staff. Last week we laid our friend Pepper to rest with their help. She had been with us 17 years and it was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Their staff were understanding, helpful, and caring through the entire process. When I went today to pick up her ashes, the young lady also gave me a small handmade ornament with Pepper's paw impression. This unexpected act of kindness brought me to tears (I am sorry I left so quickly but you really surprised me and I was a bit overwhelmed with emotion!) and reminded me of why we bring our family members here for their care.We appreciate all your kindness and understanding during this time. Thank you from my entire family.

We bring our dog, Margo, to Familly Pet Hospital for all of her veterinary care. We have always been highly satisfied with the care she has received. On our last visit, we received the usual fast, friendly, and efficient care. Katlynn brought us into the exam room as soon as we arrived and obtained the necessary history. Shortly after this, Dr. Engle arrived and did a thorough exam and prescribed treatment. All of our questions were answered. We highly recommed Family Pet Hospital.

I came in with my mother and her older cat because she had something wrong with her mouth and started having trouble eating. First off: they made my mother feel guilty for not bringing in our cat regularly to this clinic because we hadn’t brought her in an while, even though she has had no health issues her entire life. Then, we were told that she didn’t have much time left and that we should go ahead and euthanize her right then and there. My mother did not want to do that because we were not prepared for this news, we just thought she had an infection in her mouth or something along those lines. My mother asked if we could give her some pain medicine to make her comfortable and so we could have a little more time with her. Again, they made us feel guilty for choosing this, insisting that euthanasia needed to be done and made my mother sign an AMA because we chose not to put her down right at the end of that appointment. This wasn’t even the first bad experience, we have gone to this clinic for years because it was the only one on this side of town and they consistently show signs of only caring about money and a lack of genuine care. Never coming back again, and I would advise you to chose a vet clinic that truly has you and your pet’s best interest at heart.Edit: Why didn’t you give her the care she deserved? What does that even mean? No apology from Mrs. Sullivan and you failed to even spell our cat’s name correctly, it’s Lily. Disgusted with this practice
