Amazing, kind, knowledgeable…just a few words that come to mind from my experience with Olivia today. She and her son were extremely helpful. I purchased two sugar gliders that immediately let me hold, cuddle, and love on them. Very well socialized, healthy babies. Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!

So I waited a couple weeks after visiting before I made this review because I wanted to see how the pets I purchased would fair once home so that my review would be as honest and accurate as possible.I want to preface this by saying I drove 1 1/2 hours one way to this shop/store/breeder so they definitely have a variety of unique pets which is a huge plus! The price for the species I purchased was reasonable and the quality of pet I got was far better than typical local pet stores.The location is conveniently located near the highway and was not difficult to find (they literally have a very large sign in the front yard you can't miss); however it is attached to their home and they have a large dog chained near the entrance that barks so that was intimidating (I don't personally have anything against guard dogs but it's not very welcoming from a business standpoint).Once inside I was slightly disappointed in the living conditions of the animals...don't get me wrong their cages/bedding were all CLEAN and they were all obviously well-fed because none of them appeared to be malnourished or unhealthy at all BUT none of the animals had adequate space in their habitats. I do NOT believe it is because the owner doesn't want to give the animals more space I think she is just using the space that she has. I would love to see this business grow and move to a bigger location in the future. After reading many of the other reviews I would agree that there is a strong odor but it is not because the animals/habitats are not clean it is because there are a lot of animals in a small space that does not have a typical large store ventilation system going, if you are going to a home-based business in rural Appalachia then don't expect "PetSmart" clean. (Keep in mind you are visiting a farm.) The owner seemed very knowledgeable regarding the different species of animals she had.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase! I am glad that I chose to support a small business because the pets I brought home have had zero health issues and are far better quality than available at the chain-stores with friendly personalities due to having consistent handling from the owner and her children :)

Animal control should be called. This is not a place of business but a hording situation that should be shut down. The entire place is disgusting and is the reptile equivalent to a puppy mill.P.s. I can't wait for the response that sounds like a teenage girl arguing on facebook.Original comment did not contain this but becouse I was trying to be nice. However after seeing the response I would like to say when we pulled up to the "store" we was greated with a multitude of cats and a dog freaking out on a chain probably because he was miserable on a short chain. We went to the door anyway where a shirtless child answered the door brushing his teeth to find a literal hoarding situation. And yes geckos do need light to support healthy development. Most of the lizards are missing tails a sign of mistreatment and it's painful for them. Also they like a clean enclosure they are actually miserable when they are covered in filth like your entire "store"

The smell was horrible, most of the lizards didn’t even have a heat lamp, honestly this place shouldnt even be allowed to be open it felt more like a hoarding situation than a place of business

The location the "business" is in the house looks like a trap house... When the drug deals at a trailer park have cleaner yards and facilities that's a huge red flag. Also all of the photos shown are not of the actual business. Another huge red flag...

I want to give a huge shout out to this place. olivia has been amazing. my snake has a prolapse and has been getting then she has took my snake under her and is fixing her and doing everything to help her and after ahes fixed allowing me to adopt her back. I've never met a person who is more understanding and helping then her. I know I still have a couple weeka befor I get my baby back but just knowing shes getting the best care and she will eventually be home with us means everything. thank you so much for yalls help. -cody

I have really enjoyed this nice little pet store. Olivia is very good at answering questions and I’ve made several purchases and have been so happy with my new friends from her. They are always very good at answering questions and helpful with instructions to take the best care of your new friends. It’s a very at home kind of place that you feel welcome and comfortable. Im so happy they have this nice store where you get to see reptiles you may never see anywhere else and she tries to find what you’re looking for if she doesn’t already have what you’re hoping to find. Happy environment where they enjoy what they do. I always look forward to going back.

The owners are fantastic! They have a passion for their animals and are happy to share their knowledge. All animals are happy and VERY healthy! I have bought multiple reptiles from them and they are all happy and thriving. Great family atmosphere. Always my first and only choice when I need anything for family pets.

Love doing buisness with these guys ! They are friendly and knowledgeable. I purchased some Poison Dart frogs and will definitely be making more purchases through them. Wish more people actually knew they where there ! You should stop by and check it out for yourself such a large selection of critters 😍

The facility was quite dirty and the animals don’t seem healthy. Upon inquiry of where the animals come from, I found out that the owner buys up local reptiles from people who need to get rid of old pets and that’s what you get resold. Animals come with a random chance of survival, just hope whoever had it last took care of it. The facility’s cleanliness definitely does not improve their health. Buy with caution. (Pics included are bearded dragons being kept on towel, sand, and one particularly uncomfortable looking bearded dragon in a 20 gallon tank)

Just stopped in for some crickets and to see what they had. Definitely impressed by the variety they have. Highly recommend it. Nice little store for being a house, who would have thought? :)

Not the best expirience I've had sadly. Facility wasn't kept in great care, some animals had wrong husbandry and wrong enclosure sizes. They had a Chameleon on sale up until the day it died last week, which is honestly just crazy that they tried to push selling him to me when i mentioned i was looking for a Chameleon and a week later they said he passed. After I tried to openly express that i wouldn't be going back here, the owner started messaging me and adding my personal Facebook threatening me and harassing me over it. If you can't handle constructive criticism, dont open a business and then harass your customers. Definitely will not be coming back.
