Posting this on behalf of my dad. We went in to get him a gallon of icecream and milk. There was a black man cashier, 2 trainees, and a white manager that was standing behind the counter while we checked out. The black cashier forgot to give us our milk. We came back to the store within 10 minutes to get it. The black cashier demanded that we pay for it even though he remembered us from 10 minutes earlier and we had our receipt. Finally we got the white manager involved and he said the same thing including “well you might set off the alarms”…. Okay and?? We already paid for it. Absolutely ludicrous to make a customer double pay for groceries when it was the employees fault for not giving us all of our stuff from the carousel.

Staff is friendly and helpful, however, many shifts are worked by a single individual and the store closes early and opens late. One staff member working by themselves is a safety hazard, especially in today's world, more important ly opening and closing at the posted time is important to your customers. The previous reviews stated that the store was convenient for picking up a few items, however if the store is closed (but supposed to be open), it is no longer convenient . Several reviews stated the same problems, so correct it..... isn't that the goal, make it enjoyable for your customers and your employees, so your bottom line is making a profit!!! Get together DG!! Help your local management make it work!!

So tired of this store always being closed we need new managers or a new storeUpdate went in to try to give it another chance only for the manager on duty to say she seen my post about how the store was never open land she said yet here we are . (Pointing out I am shopping there) so yet again I am reminded of why I hate the store and will definitely never shop there again. Hopefully this will get to whoever ownes the store. For the manger to say all of that loudly in front of everyone just because of the experience I have had there is very unprofessional.

This is my usual Dollar General, but today, when we went, we got there at 6:58, knowing we have 2 hours left. When we are at the door there is a sign "This store will close at 7 PM" we had two minutes, i knew what i wanted so i could just run in there, grab it, pay, and leave. but i tried to open the door. It was locked. I knocked on the door and said "I know what I want it'll take less than 2 minutes, let me in." but they didn't, they just said that they were closed. Cmon you couldn't spare me 2 minutes. So annoying.🙄

You can tell that the workers who have been there for a while are trying their best despite management, staffing, and supply issues. I want to like this store, but it’s got too many issues thrown at it for the employees to handle, and the customers suffer as a result.

Worst service I've ever had.Never posting signs if registers are down. Closed for 2 weeks cause of management failures.Dont waste tour time shopping here, all the employees ever do is sit outside and smoke cigarettes.

I love the location of this place. I've visited this store at different hours and the staff is friendly every time. I can find what I need or ask and BOOM, they direct me to my request. Just recently they got an automatic checkout register which is good but I would rather see a human. Kudos for the upgrade! And the section for baking is getting a lot better. Go check it out! ❤️

Just want to say thank you to janette harrell for calling me and telling me she found my wallet in the safe. Three years later .I went back the same day i lost it and asked the guy that was working if they found it he said no . I live close by and always go here.And asked often and always a no.Of course the 300 dollars was gone.Guess someone needed it more than i did.

Service sucks... there's never any employees around they all hide in the back or stay outside and smoke. Once you get up to the register you have to squeeze a dog toy for service and when they finally come out of the break room or from outside they give you a "go to hell" look and give horrible customer service. It's conveniently close to my house and I honestly dread going so I no longer do I'd much rather drive the 15 miles to Walmart.

Poorly manage store nothing ever is srocked on shelves but the supplies are om shipping carts in the aisles which is a trip hazard.When they are slow they are in there office instead of stocking those shelves.Ive seen this many times.

The cashier was too busy outside talking with someone at their car instead of inside doing their job. He was outside when I got there and I picked up the items I needed, got in line and he was still outside when I left. I put my basket in the floor and walked out. Save yourself the trouble and go to Murfreesboro. I will never step foot in that place again.

Of course everything I wanted was on the very top shelf...😉. But there was an amazing woman (Shelly) there and she didn't mind helping me at all .. that never happens at the other Dollar General. I will go back and hope she is there smiling like today !! Thank you Shelly !!!

I rate these stores as just a quick alternative to Wal-Mart's busy lines. If you just need a couple of things it is a quick alternative. But, these stores are usually always cramped, and the isles are too tight, two buggies will not get down them, and they always have merchandise in the middle or at the end making it even more difficult to get down the isles. AND, no help! I was in one, one day and there was no one at the check out counter! There was eventually 3 of us in line, and STILL no one to check us out! We probably could have all walked out with out paying! But, quick alternative to Wal-Mart's "buisines"! AND, be careful, a LOT of the stuff is NOT cheaper!

Smelly, disorganized. Management is rude. Constant turnover. Never anyone at the counter when you're ready to check out. Always workers standing outside smoking by the propane tanks. Drive a couple extra miles and go to another DG.

Tried to purchase the 2 for $5 onsies deal. They rang up still as $3 each. Lady, who said she was a manager said she didn't know how to make it 2 for $5 like the tag said. I mean . . . 1. You are a manager? Right?! 2. Is there not an over ride? 3. How about call your own manager or sister store to help you?

This is our local store and used to shop here regularly. However, there seems to be a change in management and staff. Current employees act as though you are inconveniencing them. And store is poorly stocked and dirty. I would rather drive to the store on Joe B. Jackson Blvd than shop here.
