I had never been here before… Drove past it many of times, and thought maybe I should stop in there… My mom and me girls, my niece and nephew, and I decided to stop… And so thankful that I did the lady that was over all of the greenhouse stuff was amazing, and very knowledgeable… we were looking for creeping thyme… She took that down and said that she will see if she can get it for us… There’s trees and plants, flowers, and so much more… Well worth taking me a minute to stop in… I drive by here probably 4×5×6 times a week… We will be back. Thank you so much.

They got everything I need here to maintain my garden (different types of soil, big bags of worm castings, iron pellets, aluminum sulfate pellets) and grow my garden as well (many different types of seeds for flowers, fruits, and vegetables). They also have big, 50 pound bags of sunflower seeds which I use to feed squirrels and birds from my bird feeder. That will ensure my cats will be entertained for many hours while they look out the windows.

I absolutely love this garden center. The quality of their plants is superb. They ALWAYS have a nice variety of edible plants as well as flowering plants. Very reasonably priced too. The plants are ALWAYS in really great shape, and if you're a gardener. You appreciate this quality.The inside of the center is very well kept and organized. The employees are always helpful & courteous. You can be a beginner to the world of plants, gardening, dirt, soil, etc. And they will explain everything in a very understandable way.I'm always happy to stop, even when I'm not looking for anything specific. I leave with something wonderful.

Super nice staff and budget-friendly prices. They don't just sell Bonnie Bell plants but local stuff too, so you get local seedlings for your garden at a good price. Staff always loads my stuff into my car, even when they don't have to. Nice older gent who jokes with you and makes you feel comfortable. What local business is all about.

I make it a point to use Sun and Shade whenever possible because the owners are that amazing. I have been coming here for over 10 years and they remember me everytime time I walk in the door. Not sure if there prices are any better, I just love this place so it doesn't matter. Their selection is great, bulk seed sales, seed potatoes, onion bulbs by the pound, baby chicks. This place has everything a good local old school feed and seed should have. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!

I wish there was more places like this still around. This is a rare find in Chattanooga. Love the local style feed/garden store with all the western trinkets. There’s outdoor cats greeting you as you walk in. The staff treats you like old friends. Main thing they need to do in stock more variety of mulch—black, to be more specific.

Went to pick up some plants to replace some that died off. There seems no rhyme or reason as to where annuals and perennials are placed. The folks are nice though you can tell the garden aspect of their business isn't they're focus.
