The Sales Associate was very nice.But some of the meat in the meat department was overpriced by 3.00 dollars.When I asked the guy in the department could he reprice it, he said the manager would be in the next day.🤷‍♀️

Their customer service skills are excellent. Very friendly atmosphere. They didn't have any more of what I was looking for in the meat section, but they had it in the back freezer. The butcher not only went and got it but he also cut for me.

When I'm ready to check out, the cashier doesn't need to be playing with someones kids, people b ready to check out so we can go, not having to wait, standing there, while the cashier is playing with a child, like really.

Need to clean up store and smell. Staff is very nice and helpful. I know they are a discount meat store but it doesn't have to smell like a slaughter house. Get rid of smell and clean up a little more you get five stars.

I used to go for the cheap greens, but had to give it up. It's just not worth it. The place looks and smells horrible. The meat looks like it's about to expire. The last time I was there I touched a pack of turkey necks and the package was leaking 😨😱 (gross). That was it for me. They definitely price gauge. I wonder why the health department hasn't shut them down, they must have the absolutely lowest score possible.

I don't dislike this store. It is a typical inner city hood store. It provides convenience for the people who live close to it and has all the basic groceries you would need. The staff is very friendly. The store was dirty though.

A nice African American community, neighborhood discount grocery store specializes in soul food meats like ix tails, chitterlungs, Turkey legs, greens and ham hocks. Now competitive in gasoline prices as well. 4 star wholesale type grocery store. 👌🏿. Two👍🏾👍🏼

The location is all that's keeping this store open. Basically the closest store in the neighborhood, with suburb prices. It smells like slop and the workers are rude. But most people love it. Highway robbery

Just know if you buy meat from there you have to freeze it that day or cook it that day or else you just wasted your money cause it will be no good by the next day. But one good thing is they always have greens and what ever kind you want too.

The fresh fruit could have been better. I hadn't been in the store in over a year. I just stopped there today because I was in the area and need fruits for lunch. I was on my way to work after leaving downtown area.

Lovely family. Great little store in the neighborhood. Shopped there for years. Reasonable prices. Even extended credit when I needed it, just by my being a familiar customer. Thank you to your sweet family for being there when I needed you.

The store is dirty and the meat that is sold is very old and out of date. I recommend the Health Department be notified. Also the place is covered with panhandlers. I do not recommend people shop here.

If I could put ZERO stars I would!!!! This store has sold me and my husband rotten food 8 times. First we got refrigerated moldy pizza. There was 2 times we bought cheese got home and it was a year to 6 months outdated. The 4th time was the moldy frozen pizza had mold. The 5th and 6th time was moldy lunch meat. The 7th time was moldy rotten tomatoes. The 8th time was today. My husband went out to donate plasma. We went to Roger's to get food. We bought the LAST bag of the philly cheese steak kit there was to cook. We get home and I go to cook dinner. When I opened the bag it smelt semi bad. NOTHING was frozen. I took out onions. I took out cheese. Almost warm. I take out the bread and that's when the wretched smell hit me. I thought it was the bread so I went to smell not realizing the rotten meat blood was on the bread bag. Go to smell the bag and the blood got in my mouth. I immediately looked in the bag and the blood and smell made me sick. I threw up 3 times cuz of it. This store is horrible. The owner doesnt even take care of the food and doesnt make sure the food is stored properly and is making sure standards are up to par. This store deserves to be shut down. I posted that review on Yelp 16 days ago. today june 17 2019, i bought bacon that was expired as of June 12 2019. When my husband tried to civilly handle the situation with the owner the owner refused to even speak to my husband nonetheless show his face and told us we could just replace it through another employee. The store owner has never once apologized for anything except the first time when we went back with the moldy pizza and the store owner has yet to offer any type of compensation for his neglectful ownership.

If you want to go to a store that my Granny went to weekly when I was baby about 5 decades ago, go figure, lol yes its still there and ran about the same minus the old cash box type checkout. I would eat anything here today as when I did as a child. They used to have a scratch and dent store aswell, but it no longer exists.

Roger's has things that no other grocery store has for your soul food and old school cooking and any other needs if we dont have it best believe we can get it !!! This is a old store past down from generation to generation but still has the family atmosphere!!! When you at Roger's you are treated as family !!! And if we ain't got it we gonna break our neck to get it for you !!!

I've been going to Rogers for years,even though it's been sold and different management I think,it's still a pretty good place to get meats and ribs, it's still ghetto as hell, but it's straight though lol, for the shaky, nervous people that act like somebody is going to bother you don't worry, you'll be fine👍😉go check them out.

I just bought a 13$ pack of turkey necks and get home and open them up to clean them and they smell like a dead body so i clean the in warm water and they still smell like a dead body i pull the meat back and the bone is green in the trash they go will never shop here again😠😠😠

I love this meat market. I go here once every 4 to 5months just to restock my freezer. The prices are good as I buy in bulk. Can't beat it for the price.

poor customer service,prices not that great,disorganized,pick 5 not very good,bottom line they can't compete with my local save alot,in any way...unfriendly customer service will kill a business...a happy and taken care of customer will spend a lot of money.(hint,hint)..a cleaner store helps also..you could make a lot more money by fixing these issues that are controlable..sorry but I've taken my money elsewhere..to a real down home country grocery store where they are clean and make you feel at home.learn from example..you the owners/management are the cause of customers going elsewhere.

I didn't like it but I didn't hate it it's on those places that isn't really that rememberable you know it's there and you stop by cuz you just looking to get a couple snacks or directions maybe gas like the closest gas station but that's about it maybe just the essentials
