I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel because it was on the lower price range I didn't have very high expectations. I was impressed with how easy it was to get checked into the hotel when we arrived. We arrived a little after 10pm on a Wednesday the woman working there was very courteous and got us checked in quickly and efficiently. The hotel is a little older but has been remodeled . It's nice to see that they have made improvements to the place rather than allowing itje age to consume it. Only had a few minor places for improvement such as the size of the bathroom. It's teeny tiny the bathroom door had just enough room to open without hitting the toilet or tub and that's all. The main door to the room was a little tricky to get upend with the key card but we eventually figured it out. But overall the staff were all nice the pool water was warm which was awesome the atmosphere was good. I would recommend staying here and would stay again if we go back. . Location was perfect we came to see ruby falls, rock city, and the Chattanooga zoo. It was all within a short distance drivingRooms: The room was same as any other hotel room the bathroom was small but it works for the priceNearby activities: Ruby Falls and ziplineRock cityChattanooga zoo all funCracker barrel next door great food

These folks were super attentive! The room smelled like someone cooked on a hot plate garlic & onions.I asked if they had some spray to spray the room they came within 10 mins and sprayed cleaner to make the room smell better. The beds were clean, fresh towels, everything was updated/renovated to meet the standards of high quality room. And it was quiet l slept like a baby & my daughter enjoyed the heated pool area! And no bugs!We were pleased and the cost online was great pricing because days inn tried to charge us 165.00+ with no breakfastThis place had breakfast! We didn’t eat the breakfast because Waffle House AND Cracker Barrel was 10 steps from the hotel you could walk & be there. We enjoyed it! Would highly recommend 💯

Very impressed with this location. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, beds are comfortable and air quality excellent. I’ve stayed at 2-3 star hotels and a lot of them have a damp feeling in the rooms, but NOT here. I will stay at this location again as we are moving from Florida to Illinois and this is our half way point. Plus, they allow dogs and will need a spot that allows them during our next time through. We stayed in Room 107 as I’m not sure all the rooms have been remodeled like ours. Lastly, great location you can walk to Cracker Barrel and Waffle House just off the expressway!

This motel is located right off I-24, Exit 174. The cost for two people with a king bed was $89.00. The room looked like it was newly renovated with new laminate plank floors and new tile in the bathroom. Also freshly painted. I also found the room to be clean. The things I didn’t like was all night long I could hear noise from the room above us. People walking back and forth and toilets flushing. It’s like there isn’t any insulated between the rooms. Also the check in clerk wasn’t friendly.

When going on vacation you have to think to yourself. Do we want to spend a lot of money on a room we are mostly going to sleep in or save money and spend it doing other things. This is what I looked at when I chose this hotel. We needed somewhere to Shower / Poop / Sleep. The rest of our vacation was spent out running around Chattanooga and not in the room. This place might not be the Hilton but it fills the needs for a simple place to stay. The location for me was a bit of a minus ONLY because we were in a room on the front which faces the interstate and from time to time it would get a little loud and wake me up.The room was clean, the water was hot, the bed was comfortable and after turning the clock radio into a white noise machine it was easy to sleep in.The breakfast in the morning was simple but filling and got me and my family ready for the day.It is right next to a Waffle house and a Cracker barrel so other food options are available within walking distance.Being outside of Chattanooga is not a problem as its a short drive into town so you can save some money by not staying in one of the downtown locations.I would stay here again. As for the reviews from people complaining that everything was not a hermetically sealed and 100% sterile, get over yourself. You had a place to stay for sub $100 a night prices. What were you hoping for?Would stay here again.Rooms: Were clean and comfy.Nearby activities: Waffle House and Cracker barrel are directly next to it.

I stop here every time I drive to or from New Orleans from or to Virginia since it's about 7 hours of driving and it's the halfway point.I drive extra when I'm tired just to get to this hotel because it is so good. Clean place, good people, great breakfast, and pet friendly. It's a great deal!

We have stayed at a lot of questionable places in this town, a lot of them we’d go back… this one we will not. I don’t recommend this place to my worst enemy, bed sheets were stained with brown stains, bed itself was creaky, put on a cheap frame. You can absolutely hear everything your neighbors say/do… and the god awful yapping of the miniature dog outside, that would not be silent at all. Upstairs guests were stomping at all hours of night/day. Bathroom is tiny, had to prop my leg up to actually be able to fully use it on the tub, the shower had horrible water pressure. The Ac unit made a rattling noise whenever it was being used, and got EXTREMELY cold at times. We decided to check out a day early so we don’t have to be in that god forsaken place. If you’re wanting affordable stays, go somewhere else, there’s many options in the surrounding area. I wish we would’ve.

This place isn’t a bad place to stay. You get what you pay for, and I enjoyed being able to stay the night and I slept well.Unlike the Super8 next store. These people do have a working pool that’s inside the building. They don’t offer free water, which is a downside, and we did find hair in the bathtub from the other person that visited before. However, it was a plus to have table drawers with both usb and usb c chargers, as well as wifi.

I do not recommend this motel at all. The customer service is beyond rude, they have bugs, and you get no assistance when things go wrong. The mini fridge quit working and not even a credit was offered to replace the contents that was ruined. When I spoke with the lady at the desk she just stated “she already knew” then after waiting for over 25 mins to get a room check for my deposit back I gave up and walked out.

Look, it's the cheapest hotel around for a reason. The rooms weren't the cleanest, but they weren't dirty either. The linens were pretty stained, but you could tell they had in fact been washed at least. I wouldn't want to stay here for more than one night, but for just a one night stay it was a place to sleep. The staff were very kind and helpful both during check in and check out. I had an issue with my shower and when I called the front desk maintenance come very promptly and helped me with the issue, so I was very thankful for that. Red Roof Inn is really just a case of you get what you pay for. I wanted a cheap place to sleep and that's what I got.

At first I read one of the reviews on this place about having bugs and upon me booking last minute on a Saturday night while traveling through Chattanooga I was skeptical. I stayed in room 201 second floor no elevator . I did a thorough inspection and there were zero signs of any bugs and the room looked recently renovated very clean ! Beds were surprisingly pretty comfortable as well and showers were nice and hot ! Outside of hotel could use a little attention and main hallway could use a vacuum . Smelt like weed and Lysol but hey who cares my room was decent and clean for a good nights rest ! Front desk person was pleasant and easy to deal with as well. Enjoyed my temporary stay ! Only thing I felt negative about staying here was I felt like I paid $40 too much but when everything is booked what are you going to do …. Parking lot was well lit at night as well compared to other places around so felt safe about my car being parked outside as well ! Thanks Red Roof Inn ! I’d stay again if needed .Walkability: Cracker Barrel right next door. Having no elevator sucks if you have to carry luggage upstairs lol

Uncomfortable bed, disgusting floors (stained my socks), stinks strongly of cigars and there were chocolatey handprints all over the headboard when we came in. But you get what you pay for and it’s conveniently located.

Right away, when we came in, it took several minutes just to be acknowledged. It took over five minutes to even start the process. There was blood on our top sheet. We reported it, and someone came up to just collect it, no replacement. I asked for one, and the same person brought up one with dirt on it, no apologies from anyone for any of it.Pools are colder than room temperature water (we bought a thermometer). I asked for pool towels, and the lady waived a hand lazily to her left. There was one folded on the counter. She then referred to two towels she saw in the pool area that "might be good". These towels by the way, are hand towels. We picked this hotel FOR THE POOL. The pool room itself was freezing.Temperature control in the hotel rooms varies from freezing cold to sweaty hot. No in-between. This made for some pretty difficult nights of sleep. I asked for an extra sheet and extra pillow, and the front desk guy said to come down and grab it for myself. No, I don't work here, you do.We didn't shower during our three nights/four days due to our towels being clearly dirty. If a solid white towel is stained brown, throw it away, and buy a new one. I put in retail orders at my job all the time, it's not difficult to keep any kind of standard at all.A stray dog got in my car in the lot. I picked her up and brought her to the desk, and the lady suggested I put her on the ground and let her free because she "prolly one of the homeless people's out there". She said this after I suggested she could belong to one of the guests. She didn't want to deal with the problem, so she found ways to have me deal with it instead. During the whole conversation, she remained sitting and watching a movie. The deposit system paired with a piece of paper is clearly a trick to get extra money. Especially since it would be way more efficient to do it digitally. We're in 2024. You and I both know the paper is a scam. That being said, when I turned in my paper, it took 15 minutes just to open the lockbox with my cash in it. I asked for a receipt and never got one.Rooms: Unclean sheets on the bed, unclean and stained towels, uncomfortable beds and pillows. Asking for extra blankets and pillows was like asking for World Peace, impossible.Nearby activities: We came to enjoy Lookout Mtn, Ruby Falls, Rock City, the zoo. It's location is pretty decently close to everything you're looking for. Walmart is like 3 mins away.Noteworthy details: Terrible customer service, unclean rooms, straight up lying about having a heated pool

Awful Motel. There was nothing nice about this place. Dirty. Rude people. Three times they came down to tell neighbors to be quiet. LOUD, no insulation, no sleep until after 3 AM. They closed breakfast early because they ran out of food. They kept saying sorry you had awful experience. But we will give you no partial refund. Come back and stay with us! We complained to red roof corporate. They thought we should be compensated. But Manager couldn’t care less that he rented a dirty roomwith a broken door lock next to partiers and kids screaming so we could get no sleep. Horrible experience. Almost turned me off the whole Red Roof motel chain forever!Noteworthy details: Loud and no insulation so you can hear screaming babies, parties and fights from neighbors. Door lock was broke. We were afraid! NEVER Stay Here. Worst night of my life and mgr would do nothing.

Thought this was going to be our go to place when visiting the area. Unfortunately we had no house keeping for the entire trip. We empty our trash swept our floors using the broom and dust pan that i requested from the office along with clean towels trash bags and toilet paper. The security deposit was kept. I have called 2 or 3 times management was nasty. Left my number for owers to call me. Been 17 days have not heard from them. We checked in on 12 26 cked out on12 31 2023. I am so disappointed won't stay here again.

Travelling for business and we decided to stay here. The Gal at the front desk was very helpful and got us the room we needed due to special needs for my wife. I must say this is the cleanest Red Roof that we have ever stayed in and the staff was by far the best. The room was super clean and it had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again and again.

The Red Roof Inn at Lookout Mountain is great! Mo at the front desk made us feel welcomed immediately and she answered all my questions. She is friendly, professional, and efficient. Our room was clean and spacious. The king size bed was comfortable. The shower/tub in the bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The mini fridge was a larger one which was nice for our 5-night stay. The indoor pool is well heated and clean. We enjoyed being able to walk to Waffle House and Cracker Barrel right next door, but we appreciated the free breakfast in the lobby.Rooms: Large, clean, comfortableWalkability: Easy to walk to Waffle House and Cracker Barrel.

It looked better online. Rooms were dirty. One of the worst inns I've ever walked into. The first room reaked of smoke and was dirty. There was a cigarette burn in the comforter. They checked the room and said they agreed the room smelled and saw the burns. We got another room and there were dead bugs and bug poison in a plastic cup under the bed. I did get a full refund but the staff was very rude and acted like we were lying. I'm very allergic to certain bug bites so I have to be very careful on signs of bugs. Honestly, one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever seen.
