I wish I could give this place zero stars for my review. I took my dog in here for a bath and trim. I was told that included brushing. When I picked up my dog she had the same knots in her hair from when I left her. They didn’t take a single second to brush any part of her body. She got a bath and that was it. Not a single thing was trimmed nor brushed out. When I called to explain this I was offered a discount on my next grooming service. Why would I bring my dog back to a place I paid $80 for NOTHING. I will NOT ever be returning to Pet Sense for grooming let alone giving them any sort of business whatsoever. Pet Co does a way better DETAILED job for extremely cheaper. I go to pet sense when no other place has availability and it is a mistake EVERY SINGLE TIME. I am consistently disappointed with their groomers and we will never be returning. I advise all other dog parents to steer away from this place as you are charged out of this world for not a single second of labor. Not only that, My dog is TERRIFIED for me to leave her in this place. I know for a fact that they neglect their grooming duties but what I do not know is how they are treating my dog when I am not there. It is very clear to me that it is poorly as my dog is not terrified to go to any other grooming facilities. I was able to get the knots brushed out in about 30 seconds, I am paying you $80 to brush out some knots and you can’t even do that. ON TOP OF THAT, I scheduled online and very clearly had a text confirming that her appointment was in fact the day that I took her and their system said she was scheduled two days later. Worst service i’ve ever received.

Caitlin was such a wonderful bright light to my timid dog when we went in for a nail grinding. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back! The store was calm, quiet, so clean and the other woman working this morning was awesome as well. Thank you!!!

I had an appointment for grooming for Friday. They had me down for Thursday in ERROR on THEIR PART and didn't have anything available until Monday . Didn't even seem to care. They marked my pet as a NO SHOW and didn't care my baby would get zero services.

WOW! LARISA (new groomer) did a MARVELOUS job on our highly timid Border Collie mix. She even had the magic touch that rendered him calm and cooperative. Deshedding shampoo, brush out, dematted, nails clipped, she did it all with great skill. He smells fresh, too boot! Thank you, Larisa!

Used the Signal Mountain BLVD location for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised by the results of the Bath and Brush service. It only took a couple of hours and was a fair price for my mini-goldendoodle. My only complaint is that the girl that checked us in said she, "doesn't like to wear a mask because it's uncomfortable," despite the fact there is a mask mandate for the county and for her company store.

Absolutely horrible, management needs to get it together! If you haven’t already figured it out, the best groomers Kelsi and Jess are now at Pet Supplies Plus on Ashland Terrace!! They lost some good ones but we support the groomers, head on over to PSP and see the best groomers that Pet Sense let walk away! 🐶❤️

The staff is so friendly and so knowledgeable. The cats they foster are so loving and playful, you can tell the staff takes amazing care of them! That speaks volumes to me. My only reason for giving 4 starts is that they don't have a lot of variety when it comes to cat food/treats. Other than that, they're pretty great. Keep up the good work!

A week ago I had my dog groomed here, the staff was very friendly and I have brought my dog here before but this time was different. I paid $132 for the grooming services. The next day I woke up and my dogs eye was swollen and red and irritated. We waited through out the day and ended up having to bring him to the vet because of it. The vet said that he had gotten an infection from a small cut in the side of his face near his eye where the groomer had nicked him. We had to pay $400 worth of vet bills because of this cut and whatever was at the groomer that caused it to be infected. After further discussion they decided to do a full body exam to make sure that there were no more nicks anywhere that could be infected too. The vet found another on on his skin where his privates come out. A week has gone past and we are still having to deal with cuts that he got and making sure he doesn’t lick them and having to give him antibiotics everyday. I will never bring him back here again. Like I said I have been here a few times before but this time it was not the same person and the price was $45 more than last time.

I'm always pleased with the service we receive having our Great Pyrenees groomed. Unlike other places, getting an appointment is always an easy process, and my very poofy dog comes out looking great, every time!

Pet washing stations are nasty, standing water in 1 area, advised staff and they said the have not had time to clean since it's been busy.Advise close the station and clean or offer free use. 1 area have a dryer, all the equipment was dirty. Do not use Petsense for self washing.

PetSense calls and reschedules our grooming appointment three times due to staffing issues. Finally we take our dog in for his appointment and they say he doesn't even have an appointment and they can't do anything. Total incompetence at every level, how these people are still in business totally baffles me. If I could give 0 stars I would in a heartbeat.

I go every other week and have my dog's claws filed. Jess usually does it and she is outstanding. She takes time to get to know the animals and she is very gentle with my Zoe. The cashiers are also very nice and helpful every time I've been in there. I don't think y'all could ask for a better staff

They carry Stella and Chewy's frozen raw dog food, which is hard to find in my area. I drive 40 minutes 1 way to visit their store. Well stocked store. Very engaging friendly staff. Great clearance items sale prices.

Drove from Dayton to get litter that I had called and confirmed they had in stock. Get to store and found they had closed 2 hours early at 6pm without warning. Got to store after work at 6:03, they were still there but could not get litter. Ridiculous!! Second time this place has let me down. Never using them again!

Visited the Signal Mtn. Road store around 8:30PM (they closed at 9. I felt bad for shopping 30 minutes before closing). As soon as I entered the store, an associate, Courtney, greeted me promptly.I was looking for medical supplies as my 2 y/o doggo had suddenly developed hot spots. I explained this to Courtney and she completely understood what I was looking for (I had no idea what I was looking for). She listened attentively and knew exactly where to find what I was needing.I never write reviews but as a panicking dog father, it was nice to be able to speak to someone who went above and beyond to calm my nerves and lead me to the proper products to treat his hot spots until I can get to the vet.Thank you so much Courtney, you are the best!

It's convenient for us to shop here but their prices are definitely higher than other pet stores in the area. Good thing they price match! On average prices are $3-$5 higher per item. Staff is always super nice though.

I have tried to make a grooming appt on more than one occasion because it was recommended so highly by a friend. However they never have an appt when I need one and when I ask for "first available next week" and that doesn't work I don't even get another suggestion. They just say sorry??? Not sure they want to make appts.

The grooming service is terrible. I had a bad experience a few years ago and decided to go back and try it recently. They wouldn’t even groom my dog saying my dog “barked and snapped at the groomer” my dog only barks when someone knocks on my front door and if you put your hand in her mouth she doesn’t know what to do with it. Please take your pets to be groomed elsewhere. I knew it was the same woman who I dealt with a few years ago. She’s awful!

The place is really nice and the staff is always amazing!!!! and super helpful. The only draw back is the small space they have doesn't allow for much variety and I always end up having to go somewhere else anyway.
