Hands down, my favorite place to go to for our puppy. They have a ton of variety for food along with treats, and she definitely has fun during all of our visits. Thankful for their kind staff members as well. Also that toy brand is one of the few that hasn't been destroyed, very durable if you're looking for something that your big dog won't break in an instant lol💛

I highly recommend this place! Used their self wash for my pup first time ever cause it's a nightmare doing it in my tub! Love it they have like 5 different shampoo options, a conditioner, all the brushes and combs for dogs plus nail clippers. Water pressure is awesome, my dog refused to let me blow dry so good luck with that one. The staff is extremely nice plus you can get a little baked dog treat for your fur baby after their bath! 15 dollars for 30 minutes I was done in 10 though still a great deal

I actually like this business. It is not close to where I live and have used their delivery service.My issue is regarding the purchase of a new food for my dog. I have gone back and forth with different brands due to the store not stocking the product I started her on. I understand supply and demand, but don’t really want to have to special order.As recently as this week I was in there and had to try, once again a new variety from a brand I like. The sales associate casually mentions “well we do have a money back guarantee” to which I replied oh she will eat anything. Unfortunately, she doesn’t like the food and hasn’t eaten a morsel. I called the store this morning and was told without the bag I couldn’t return. I automatically emptied the dry food in a container and disposed of the bag. ☹️I am a sales associate in retail and I always inform my customers ( who are in doubt about a purchase) they have thirty days with receipt and the tag. I would have appreciated if the sales associate would have given me the information that the food still needs to be in the bag to be returned.I will continue to do business with NoogaPaws, will just make myself aware of their policies.

The best place for your cat & dog needs in the Chattanooga area. They’ve had everything to help me on the first year with my shiba. The dog food brands they carry all are healthy with limited ingredients, and they have awesome baked treats all the time. The staff are the best they give me advice when I need it, and give Meera treats when she needs them. Just all around a great place to have if you’re a dog or cat owner.

If you've got a dog, this place is wonderful. So many options for your little babies. Various toys, treats, food, collars, and even some blankets and shirts.If you've got a cat, you've still got some options not typically available in large, chain pet stores such as petco, pet smart, etc. but the cat section is lacking heavily. There are some food brands like Open Farm that you won't typically see in large pet stores. There are some toy variations you don't see in large stores. However, the cat section totals maybe 2 aisles?I'd go here for cat products you're having a hard time finding elsewhere.Great grooming selection.They also offer free samples of some of the brands they carry, which I've never seen before. Very nice.Toy prices can be a little too expensive, but some of their food prices are fiercely competitive with other pet stores. Worth a trip.Overall, a great place for dogs and an okay place for cats.

My go to pet store!Can’t beat the prices. I know I can trust anything I purchase here will be safe for my pets. Very friendly staff, very clean shop. Really convenient location although parking lot can be pretty full at times (which of course isn’t the shops fault, just a heads up.)

They lost our business on 9/22/2023. This was my first time in the store. However, my daughter has bought her dog food and many many toys/treats from here. I returned a new toy that cost 18.99 that my daughter bought for our puppies. One of the rope handles became unraveled (other than that, it looked brand new). The guy at the registered got, who I will assume was a a manager, and told me the toy was not returnable. She then told me, not once but twice that I needed to do research and print a list on what toys were appropriate for my puppies. We are do not take dog ownership lightly and would never give our dogs toys that are not appropriate. Paying 18.99 for a toy should not unravel within minutes of giving it to a puppy that is supervised. This lady was inappropriate and not appreciated. She did give store credit for the toy after telling her that my daughter spends hundred's of dollars in that store. I had planned to shop around after my return but after the interaction I had with this lady, I left immediately and will never return.To be noted: my daughter showed the cashier photos of the puppies who she was purchasing the toys for and never was told the toy was not appropriate.

The store itself is five stars: amazing selection of food, treats, baked goods, toys, collars, etc. Chattanooga is lucky to have an independent store like this, and I come here often. But the self grooming station, while looking state of the art, smells so bad that I actually gagged when I walked in to use it. The odor just about knocks you down, like walking into a home where someone is hoarding 100 dirty poodles with itchy skin. Also, the shampoos provided are very diluted, to the point where you have to use an entire bottle to get it to foam on your dog. Glad I brought my own. And only one little towel per dog. Glad I brought my own towel as well. The water pressure was not what you’d expect it to be either, amd with a 30-minute time limit to wash AND dry, this is a problem. I ended up leaving with my dog 75% dry and shivering because of the time limit and the heat from the dryer made the noxious smell even more intense. I will not be using the self wash ever again.There are several other self-wash places in town that have less watered down shampoo, more towels for no extra cost, better water pressure, ear cleaning solution, no time limits, and no noticeable odors. Thank goodness.Added after review was commented on by NoogaPaws:Wow. Yes, I’m Karen. That’s the name my mom chose for me like 40 years ago, and because of that, an honest review gets ridiculed by a business. Like I said before, I love your store. I have spent a hundreds of dollars on my dog just in the last calendar year. Your quality, selection, and customer service (up until now) is unmatched. Thats why the self-wash station was such a let down for me. It wasn’t just one dog that made that odor. There’s no way. And all my other issues are also legitimate.Your immature, unprofessional, dismissive, and truly hurtful response (who can help what they’re named?) makes me not want to show my face in your store again. You will know who I am, and now that I know how you feel about honest but not 100% positive reviews, I am worried about you showing that same cruel attitude towards me in face-to-face interaction, and I am not interested in being bullied. I’m truly shocked and so sad.

There are a lot of really cool dog food options here! They've got natural options (bully sticks, duck heads, chicken heads), freeze dried options, raw options, and even dehydrated raw options. Theyve also got dog cookies, tons of collars, leashes, and toys galore! The parking area is a lil funky next to the whole foods but I highly recommend stopping by! There are also water fountain bowls available for some thirsty pups. If I lived closer, this would be a regular spot for me and my pooches!Theyve also got a small cat area but not nearly as expansive as their dog area!

There were very helpful with Jett's allergies and recommendations . So hopefully we will zero in on what is bothering him . ThanksUpdate ---- thanks to you guys now his allergies are all gone , so it turns out he was allergic to the Blue Buffalo puppy dry food. So when we changed to a new food that you recommended he is doing great and no allergies ! Thanks again.

Nooga Paws was a lot of fun for my basset hound and me. We used their walk-in do-it-yourself dog wash which was very convenient. Clean environment; elevated wash tub with removable side section so you can get your pooch into the tub easily; nice selection of shampoos and conditioners; and ... spray nozzle for cold, warm, hot water [gentle spray head] ... Oops. one more thing ... Clean towel .... We were in and out in about 20 minutes ... Highly recommend! ...

Great place with a friendly atmosphere. Our pup loved it! And they give free dog food samples to see what your dog may like. They also offer to take back any dog food you've bought if your dog doesn't like it and donate it, which is really cool because our pup is EXTREMELY picky. Will definitely be back.

The self-wash station is the best grooming experience I’ve ever had. The staff were SUPER helpful explaining how everything worked (and what each of the soaps were/did). They had an extensive list of soaps and supplies so I didn’t have to bring anything with me. I have an anxious bather, and was recommended by her vets to sedate her for nail trimmings; at Nooga Paws, I was actually able to clip her nails for the first time in two years myself because of how at-ease she was. I will definitely be back to use this feature again!!!!

I went in there yesterday with an extensive list of foods my dog can't have. While I was overwhelmed at the results of the allergy test for my fur baby, I was completely put at ease by a wonderful employee. She was the best help! I don't remember her name, but she was AMAZING! I am now a huge Nooga Paws fan and will continue to do business with them.

This is the best pet store in Chattanooga hands down. I lived here briefly in 2015 and came back in 2020. I was so happy to see Nooga Paws was still here.They clearly spend a lot of time researching brands and products, and they stand buy what they sell. All of them made from real food so you know what you’re feeding your pets.They have an awesome selection of treats! You can shop here and know that your pet will be safe and healthy. If you have any questions, every staff person I’ve interacted with has been very knowledgeable on all the products and brands they carry.It’s more of a boutique— which is nice because big box stores can get confusing. It’s extremely clean, does not smell of animals. Pets are welcome.Everyone who works here is super nice and professional.

This is the only place I buy dog food! They only carry the best brands, I love it. They also have month-long sales, and I can usually get a discount on one of the few brands I buy if I look at whatever they have on sale for that month. They also have all sorts of other products! Definitely a one stop shop and healthy pet store. And their CBD selection is great. Plus the staff is very knowledgeable and is never pushy for you to buy something. Oh and you can wash your dog here too which is great for older or larger dogs that have a hard time getting in the tub at your house. Nooga Paws also offers curbside pickup AND delivery to nearby areas. Truly a wonderful business!

Staff are excellent. Per usual w USA, there are far less cat than dog options.I'd highly recommend the frozen kitten mix. $6 for about a x2 WK supply and it won't kill your kitty

If you're looking for something akin to Pet Smart, this isn't that. It's a small shop with good stuff in it. We've bought treats, toys, harnesses, leashes and custom cakes and used their self wash on one occasion -- zero complaints. They have most everything we could ask for and it's really nice to support a local shop. The service is always incredibly friendly and efficient. Recommend this place for you and your mutts. Or cats. :)

First time, Last timeWent in to get a bday treat for my cat, I was a huge fan of the spooky season treats they had out. Ended up getting a couple for him and my dog. Before I made the purchase I asked the associate who was walking by if they were also cat friendly treats. His response was, "I don't really know. All the ingredients are safe. I guess the carrots maybe, but that's what the internet is for," and continued to walk to the other side of the store.I know the internet exists, that's how I'm writing this review. It was the condescending tone he used. I asked a simple question, I wanted to know if it was safe for my cat to eat the zombie cookie I got him. I'm glad I shopped local and supported a small business, but what's the point of store associates if they don't information about the products.

This is the only place I buy my dogs food. The staff is knowledgeable about the different brands and their benefits. They have the best selection of dog treats too! There is something very satisfying about watching my bully crunch down on a freeze dried turkey head. She absolutely adores them also.

A friendly pet store, staff is always helpful, friendly and fun to interact with your pets. Treats at paw reach, some of the treats are at pet height, your pet might want to get a 5 jelly bean discount. They supply water and self grooming station with plenty of choices for your furry friend to smell great.
