Don’t waste time and money on Dr. Murphy. I used her for the last 18+ years for shots and such. I did not realize that she does not treat sick animals. She did not treat my animal appropriately and my dog paid a heavy price for her ignorance. My price was heavy too. Over $700. She denied me access to bathroom facilities when I was having an urgent problem. She used the excuse that I might steal her medication from the work area. My dog and I deserve better than her.

I really have been cautious about who to trust with my senior cats and dog because of their past medical conditions. I’ve been to 5 different vets in the Chattanooga area ranging from Harrison out to Hixson, even Signal Mtn & never felt assured that they were a match for us. LVPH and Dr Murphy and her staff are a perfect team of professionals for my pets. We have been loyal for 3 years now because on every appointment the staff all show compassion for what my pets are going through, they’re considerate & kind to me and my family, and extremely affordable as well. My senior pets are doing great and are living comfortable pain free lives now thanks to the veterinary skills & knowledge of Dr Murphy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Recently my dog had an abcess we went to an emergency vet in OH he had to have a tube put in his ear to drain the infection and then get it taken out 5-7 days later well we found this place cause it was right next to a truck stop which is great for us cause me and my husband are truck drivers. They got us in right away and were so good to us. Very knowledgeable and spent the time with us answering all questions that we had. She did not rush us at all. Definitely recommend this place. Also I put this place on our companies furbaby page on Facebook. Thank you for all you do.

If I could give this place a negative number, I would.This veterinarian is from the dark ages and not caught up on the latest medicine.I brought my 13 year old yellow lab to this vet because I read the reviews and it is very conveniently close to home. My dog was sick, vomiting and lathargic. Dr. Murphy checked her abdomen and lymph notes, ordered a blood draw and 2 injections. The total bill for this was $540.00. She said, "The blood work results should be in within 24 hours, just call the office for results." She ordered amoxicillin 25mg every 8 hours for a dog that is vomiting. No cerenia for the vomiting.My dog is now sicker than what she was when I went in to see her !!! I tried calling the office several times today (MONDAY 4/20/23) and received NOTHING. No call back stating the blood work did or did not come in, just NOTHING. A curtousy call would have been nice for a fur baby's worried mother. I spoke with two other veterinarians/vet techs in regards to her treatment from New York and they are unsure why this vet ordered amoxicillin for my dog with a vomiting issue and stomach problem.On a side note, while at the office, I had to relieve myself (urinate) and asked where their bathroom was. They do not provide a restroom to their patrons. Really?Unfortunately, I was so upset over this I ended up leaving a very nasty message . It is unlike me to blow up but, I have valid concerns and they don't even respond ? I'm disgusted with this place and will NEVER take any of my animals here again. $540.00 or $5,000.00 is not the issue so long as my beloved pet(s) is getting the care they need for the money I spent but, SHE MADE MY DOG SICKER !!!!DONT GO HERE !

Very unprofessional clinic. The hours listed are never the hours they are open, they are just randomly closed during the week. I have been trying to call for the last 2 days, no one has returned my phone call in the last 48 hours so im assuming they are closed. If they are closed why do they not have a message stating that? I wont even bother bringing my pet here at this point.

Had to take my newest fur baby to get her shots required and an exam. The staff/Vet was very courteous and friendly and got me in and taken care of quickly.

My 82 year old mother come to the facility with her dog that had a tumor that was bleeding profusely. She was very upset and crying. When they pulled in there were some employees that were going in and she told them the issue they just nonchalantly told her that the vet would not be in until 10am. They did not offer any assistance until the vet came in or any advice as to somewhere she could go. My mother drives but just limited around the lookout valley area. My mother asked them where she should go and they pretty much just shrugged their shoulder. This ended up being a life and death situation and the dog died. I would not recommend this incompetent veterinarian clinic to anyone. Their lack of sympathy and unprofessionalism is just unbelievable. There is a vet up the road in Trenton that are caring and competent. Trust me it’s worth the drive.

Dr. Murphy and her staff always treat our pets like they are their own. The staff is knowledgable and most of the time you can get an appointment the same day. Dr. Murphy is great, always very friendly.

I've had my cat, Chosen, groomed here for several years and they always do a great job. I had him groomed yesterday and his cut looks SO CUTE! I don't know who groomed him but it's the best he's looked and i really enjoy the attention to detail. Thank you!!!

We feel very fortunate to have LVPH as our neighborhood veterinary clinic. They've provided excellent care when our pets aren't feeling well, and looked after them when we travel. Don't take your pet anywhere else!

Always have great service. Of course we only go when our dog needs her shots or is having issues. Never a long wait and very convenient for us since we live about a mile away.
