We love this fish store! We have had several tanks in the past and decided that it was time to start back with the hobby. My husband and I stopped in a month ago, and we were so impressed with the friendly staff and how knowledgeable they were as well. We bought a tank and have had so much fun getting it set up. We actually love to go in the store and ask questions, and learn more about the different fish. Our tank is looking great and it’s been super easy with the help we receive. The owner loves what he does and makes you feel like part of the family. Thank you for everything!!

Amazing store for aquatic enthusiasts. What they pack into this small store front is extremely impressive. I was blown away by the freshwater AND saltwater variety. Not many stores do both so beautifully. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the tanks and the quality of fish, plants, and other supplies. Cannot wait to go back and see what's new!Also, we got the coolest freshwater gobi and it's the healthiest fish in our tank! On top of that, the owner was kind enough to give us a quick lesson on propagating aquatic plants. This inspired us to add even more plants to the tank. Thank you to all the kind, helpful staff!

Great store to buy your fish from. I’ve gotten tetras, African Cichlids, and now a paradise fish. This is my go to fish store for Chattanooga. Fish are reasonably priced and always in great condition.

Ethan and his crew are awesome! Ethan is the most positive and supportive person you could ever ask for. Everyone there knows a ton about the fish and keeping them, and they are always so happy to help. Sometimes it does get pretty busy in there and it may take some time to get that help, so if you really want personal attention I recommend coming in at less busy times, if you can. If they don't have it, Ethan can usually order it for you too! My favorite thing though, is that unlike the big chain pet stores, they actually care about you and the fish you keep. No starving betas in cups! They actually make sure the fish you want are appropriate for you and your tank, so no selling kids "cool" fish that will outgrow their tank, or die trying! They want you to be successful, not just sell you product today.

Best fish store I’ve ever been to. The aquariums are artistically designed and immaculate. This place reminds me of the Chattanooga Aquarium. I could spend hours there. The staff are all very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The fish are all well taken care of and I never worry about taking sick fish home to my other fish. Well done guys!

Love love love this fish shop. So much to look at, fish I've never seen before and plants. The guy working the desk was super helpful and knowledgeable. The shop is out of our way for where we live but will definitely make the extra drive to come back.

I bought 6 hatchet fish and 10 silver tip tetras from fish mania last week and added them to my fully cycled and empty 20 gal quarantine tank. 5 days later the 6 hatchet fish have died and the rest of the tetras all have ich. Typically not a big deal but I called to speak with Ethan and let them know and I was told they do not guarantee any of their fish and hatchet fish almost always have ich and there is nothing they could do about it. Nothing was said when I purchased the fish that hatchet fish almost always have ich. Ethan offered to give me a small discount on some new hatchet fish when they come in. This is not the first time I have gotten sick fish from fish mania but have just let it go because it happens but I feel like this has gotten out of hand with their fish. At the bare minimum Ethan should have at least offered to replace the 6 hatchet fish and pay for the medication to treat the remaining fish. Will not be going back. Bermuda Triangle is a much cleaner store and I have never received a sick fish from them. Don’t waste your time and money at fish mania.

Went for a 20 foot long and left with a 55 gallon.l 😆 the staff are friendly and super helpful. They are knowledgeable and incredibly kind. I cannot recommend this place more.

Fantastic fish store. Every time you walk in Ethan greets you and genuinely does his vest to help you out. I heard him offering a customer on the phone one day to bring in their canister filter that they bought somewhere else that was leaking and he would look at it himself to try to figure out the problem with it. Thats top notch service. Highly highly recomm3nded.

Friendly service, always. I've never gotten any bad fish. Got two of these yellow cichlids last year, and they are big and doing well. I've gotten guppies from there that are doing well still. I get my algae eaters from there. I also get my filters and food there because it's cheaper.

I have been shopping regularly at Fish Mania over the past two years and have found this to be a well-run store with great selection of saltwater fish and invertebrates including soft and some hard corals as well. The owner Kearl is a really friendly, experienced hobbyist who will bend over backwards to help you out. Ethan one of the regular store employees is super smart, and really knows his reef aquariums and coral care. He always seems to know the latest thing in marine and reef aquariums and is always willing to share his knowledge and experience with customersEthan will also do home visits to care for tanks and feed/baby sit aquariums for people when on vacation. Ethan even helped me aquascape and set up a reef tank for a very nominal feeLastly Kearl has access to some of the best live rock I’ve ever seen and though it may be pricey is well with the extra cost for some truly “premium” rockI highly recommend Fish Mania as a terrific local fish store and a great place to get good advice on fish and reef tank care

Very knowledgeable. Their selection is vast and everyone is always super friendly. During one of my visits a couple came in and I learned they had driven from Manchester to specifically talk with Ethan about finding the perfect replacement for their long term fish that had recently passed. I'll throw money their way anytime I can! A great local store very worthy of supporting!

On Sunday evening around 4-5:30, with a rush proceeding on, three ladies who were working were all calm and collected. Much dedicated to helping each and every customer to their greatest length. They treated me with respect and kindness even with Being new to fishkeeping. They also made sure I knew what I was working on when I got equipment for a new fish tank when I went home. This is the first time I have ever been to the store on the way home from a road trip, and it was such a good idea to stop by. I recommend this place due to its excellent prices, quality products, and most significantly, well-cared-for fish. If you need somewhere to start setting up a tank or just adding on to another, this is the right place to go. 10/10 everything!
