I always come to this store when doing laundry but today was so upsetting especially as a Hispanic woman. I stepped out the line for just a minute to get a drink since someone was paying before us and my nephew was paying for his stuff before me. I came back to when my nephew finished paying and got his change so I was next. The lady a the register looked at me saying “how did you do that?”. Mind you, my stuff was already there I just went to get a drink ONLY. She said “I’ll let you slide this once”. I didn’t cut in line and my nephew was with me and he stayed in the line while I stepped out a minute. Especially made me look like a bad person and humiliated infront of everybody else who was there watching. I never had this problem with any other person at the register. Honestly upsetting. This happened today April 13, 2024 around 3:10 PM.

Absolutely the WORST and MOST DISGUSTING family dollar around the area. The workers don’t know how to do they job, they’re not only racist but they wanna pick sides when they don’t like someone. They would rather yell at scream at customers then to have any business. Misty the short haird lady that think she owns the store is the worst one there. Her and the white haird wanna be manager. If you go here make sure if they start looking at you when you walk in the door you just go ahead and walk out because they will accuse you of EVERYTHING under the sun. I will be making a report about both of them. This is the third time I’ve watched them be completely rude to people and it’s people of all color. If they don’t like the way you walk they will create a scene in front of everyone. Misty (at least that’s what she has said her name was since they don’t have to wear name tags 🤣) always cuss and act belligerent and more ignorant than any other customer service rep in the entire system on Tennessee ave. Not only is it always nasty and nothing in stock they just don’t want to work but want to get paid for it. Disgusting bunch of old women. They manger guy that’s kinda younger was the only decent person there in the last two years I’ve been I going to this one, but I know I won’t spend another dollar it that nasty roach ridden place.

That Ashley girl was disrespectful the last time I was here, someone needs to replace her, she does not deserve a job there, I would appreciate if the manager would get her away from that front desk, she doesn’t know how to talk to people. I give this location a 1 star. Smh if someone would replace her everything would be ok 👍🏾

Fully stocked, clean and organized and I'm always greeted when I come in. I prefer this location over the downtown location which is closer to my job. The difference between the two is night and day.

It's small, the aisles are cramped and its customers smell like they personally subsidize the cigarette industry. It's a dollar store in a poorer section of town and as such, suffers from its parent companies neglect, unlike its neighboring stores in the same shopping center. It's great if you need to pick up something cheap and if you're lucky enough that there aren't too many customers there. However, if it's crowded, check next door at the CVS or the Food City instead.

I think Family Dollar is a great little store for people who aren't able to visit the larger malls due to no transportation and we appreciate them being close and keeping prices reasonable for all.

Refuse to go back in there. Went in to purchase something and the woman refused me because she didn't have change and I needed to wait 2 minutes but gave the person in front of me and the person behind me change. Never offered to help me and let me purchase my items.
