This location has improved since my last review here, however I've not stopped in since the Covid 19 Mask Mandate. I will be updating this review and many more to give people Businesses Who care enough to Enforce the Mandate and Those Businesses Who Don't. As I Myself only seek out places to go without worrying about Maskless Fools who Don't Care About the Health and Safety of Others. I did stop and see if they allowed customers Without Masks and They Do. I will Not be Shopping Here until they enforce the Mandate.

Nobody would answer the phone when I tried calling because the husband of an employee was having a medical emergency. It caused me great anxiety and stress not being able to get anyone on the phone. If corporate sees this, they need to understand how to train employees to answer phones as a PRIORITY. I called every Family Dollar on Ringgold Rd (my partner was on the phone with emergency services) and no one answered. It was harrowing. I'm also under supervision of a cardiologist and currently wearing a heart monitor, so the medically scientific evidence of this event is recorded. I understand the area in which this family dollar is located is considered a "food desert". The city leaders needs to consider more grocery options that aren't a string of Family Dollars, and an occasional Food City. Nobody won in this situation and FD needs to reevaluate if the discount store brand business is the correct avenue of business for them before they become bankrupt. There should be a sign indicating that the shop is closed or open : Do not forget that there are old men and women who get up and out of the car with difficulty

I'm just glad to see some of these FD stores are still open and in general area. I've noticed a lot of the DG stores are closing... smh..no surprise though. Nothing is the same..Gentrification is new norm 😕

Disgusting how NAT (your manager/key holder whatever he is). Treats paying customers. If items are on clearance and been priced that way because they were discontinued it is the store/manager/key holders job to honor that price not demean and disrespect a woman/ customer because they didnt ring right on the computer. Turn that key and over ride the price to make that sale. No wonder Family dollar has been closing stores all over Missouri and Tennessee. Stores are always dirty un stocked and rude customer service. I truly hope you hold nat accountable for his actions the video of the interaction has already made it to million views. Last thing corporate needs is to deal with more negative press then it already gets. Clearly corporate needs to come in and do more training on customer service skills.

I've been here in town for 4 days and they haven't been open at all, I walk over at different times a day on different days and they are never open

I hate it when you go in a store with one cashier is working, but it's two cashiers on duty and the line is zig zag up and down two aisles
