If you haven't been there you must go I think you would love it

I've been going to this Dollar General for over 12 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. There are 3 stores near my location, one closer but I prefer the one in Charlotte, they seem to have items the other stores are out of also, guess that would be that the management is efficient.

I regularly shop at Dollar General for snacks, laundry supplies and hygiene supplies are good prices and usually in stock and give a lot of varieties. Staff is friendly and helpful. I usually spend too much but I'm stocked up

This store was particularly organized for a Dollar General. As the corporation, I feel Like, will happily disregard customer service duties for an opportunity to put up some stock. On the other hand sometimes you'll have a single good customer service person running the register with no one else in sight along with merchandise on the floor and in buggies in the aisles. Having said that though this particular location is a pretty darn good one. I would also say that in the field of covid-19 related practices the store seemed clean, masks were on an overall good experience

I’ve had several unpleasant experiences at this store over the years that made me quit going. On two occasions their credit card reader was down—which I didn’t find out about until all my items had been rung up. On one occasion, after waiting a very long time in line, as I got up to the register the shift supervisor closed the line I was in to send the clerk on break and told me to go to the end of the other (very long) line. I’ve never had a problem at any other local Dollar General, but this one seemed poorly run.

Edit: I gave a bad review because of the unfriendly people who worked there. I came back to change it. The same people aren't at this store anymore. There's friendly people there now. There are dollar general stores around every corner so we don't have to go to the ones that have employees who act like they don't want to help you find something or barely speak when you're checking out. They made me feel unwelcome. I'm glad they have a new group there now. I no longer have to drive to the one in White Bluff. I miss those people though. The dollar store in Charlotte now deserves 5 stars so I have changed it.

All dollar stores are good to go to but like everything else prices are going up in it I love the French vanilla creamer the dollar store French vanilla but it has went up tremendously in the last few months but I still buy it the people are very friendly and they work hard in there

Nice people. Usually convenient.For some reason this store has been closing way earlyFor the past month. This is inconvenient for many who make the trip unaware of this issue. Closed before 5pm today. I hope this saves someone a wasted trip.

The daytime workers are great. The afternoon workers at the register always have ear buds in listening to music or talking on the phone. You have to repeat everything you say 2 or 3 times because they are pre occupied on the phone other than doing the job they are hired to do.

Prices are good if you can find the sale items in stock. They may have them but it takes hunting to find them. My real complaint about the store is that the aisles are always jammed with stock and the shelves are near empty.

Needs to be organized better. Things out in everywhere. People are going to get hurt if they can't see these things. Most of your employees are very rude. They should take a customer service classes.

They had merchandise out front that was marked down for clearance or sale items I were interested in had a red dot indicating 50% off when asked the price the cashier said they were full price they weren't on sale so if you're getting an item that you thinks on sale you should definitely check the price when they ring it up obviously the red-dot means nothing

Very friendly and helpful staff. I purchased an item from a different Dollar General location. The item was damaged. This location gave me a refund, no questions asked. Top notch customer service!

With a pandemic going on they have a huge sign on the door for shoppers to wear mask. If that is the case then the employees should have to wear them also. I have been in there quite a few times since the pandemic hit and have not seen the 1st employee wearing a mask.

Had 1 can refried beans and got lucky I was ineed of extra toilet paper for the lake house and found the only can in stock ironic because guess with refried beans you need paper

I only stop at dollar general when I've forgotten to get what I need somewhere else. The aisles are too narrow and they have too much merchandise. There is hardly anything in the store that costs a dollar. I just don't care to shop there.
