Update: I think it must be under new management because it's looking much betterWorst dollar general I've ever seen. It looks like a junk store or garage sale. Pile of clothes in the aisle. Aisle blocked with totes needing stocked. I'll spend money on the extra gas to go to the next dollar general. It's so much cleaner all well stocked.

This Dollar Store is the best one that Chapel Hill has ever had! It's bigger and more roomier with much more needed merchandise including a bunch of food products. It's always clean and well taken care of and the restroom is always clean. Most of the employees are usually helpful and friendly. It's conveniently located with plenty of parking spots. I just wish more of the registers were open so we wouldn't have to stand and wait for a bit longer.

There is an associate by the name of Christian, also known as a manager who works for you all. She's been taking clearance items off the shelves, putting it in a basket behind the counter and not allowing other customers to be able to get to it .She has been doing this for a while. She is on the clock. This has happened numerous times. The last incident occurred on February 6th. 12PM -2PM .Then I made contact with the store after I left to question her about it, and she lied and said there was nothing there. She also refused to give me her name whenever I called because I told her I wanted to file a complaint. So I then went back to the store where she had already purchased the items and put them in the back office and had somebody cover her shift while she left. This is unfair to the customer, and this is allowing managers to get a better advantage point as far as buying stuff from the store. This should not happen and not continue to happen. It really needs to be dealt with.

Three words to describe this store: unorganized chaotic mess. I went in here and had to circle the store multiple times just to find anything I was looking for. All the shelves looked like clearance racks with stuff thrown everywhere all over the shelves and not in proper places. Half the shelves were empty as they need to seriously stock the shelves again instead of standing around chatting up front. I ended up leaving because they either didn’t have what I was looking for or I couldn’t find it due to their unorganized mess.

A worker at this store, between the hours of 7pm and 9pm on 01/20/20. Abducted and relocated a dog who got off it's chain, which lived only 500-1000ft away, about 10-15 miles away from it's home. In order to relieve the store of the dogs presence, rather than reaching out to the owners or the authorities appropriate for the situation.

Convenient shopping in our small town. They are frequently understaffed, which often causes long checkout lines. Overall, the people that work there are friendly, the store is usually well stocked.

Too much product unstocked and blocking EVERY aisle. Asked to bag my own groceries at self serve. Had too many groceries to really do that and there is NO PLACE to put them. Did use self serve.

Very convenient for the person on the go with little cash in hand. Wonderful place to pick up that item you need quickly that's right down the road from anywhere you seem to live.

Wide selection, with some shelves being cleared due to COVID. The checkout was so crammed with little trinkets and sticky bun racks it was a pain to navigate through around other customers.

The location in Chapel Hill needs staffing. Shelves are empty, you can't walk in the store for the carts with product that needs to be put up. The refrigeration truck is in the parking lot but no gallons of milk on the shelves. The employees in the store are working it's just not enough of them.

Two dollar stores in Chapel Hill.Avoid this one. Dirty store with Super low stock. Drove a mile down the road to the other one to get what I needed.

Very crammed with stuff in this store. Hard to walk down some of the aisles. When i went there was a huge line at check out, not sure if they were short staffed or if everyone decided to come in and check out at the same time.
