I actually preferGainsburo save a lot better. It's been updated so it has that cleaner fresher feel about it. But Celina stores well stocked and the employees are always friendly and helpful.

The meats selection was poor. My husband was wanting some barbecue. I found one Boston butt pork roast. It looked the best. Didn't have my favorite barbecue sauce. Only one to choose. I hope it is good.

Really look at the meat. It was ok, but you have to go through some of it. Nice little grocery store. Friendly atmosphere. Found some pretty good pork butt.

I didn't think I'd EVER post a public comment about my local (or any for that matter) Sav-a-Lot grocery store, but tonight's shopping 🛍 experience was so unexpected that I feel compelled to do just that. I arrived at the store only 20 minutes prior to closing time. I only had 5 items on my shopping list-all located very near each other, so I'd be in and out in 10 minutes or less. But as I began to gather the items on my post-it note list, there were a couple of things that I felt needed the mgrs attention... So you know me... I was happy 😊 to do just that. Lol. Anyway, then I began to notice that a few things we didn't really NEED, but we use/cook/eat on a regular basis were on sale at VERY LOW PRICES, so naturally I had to have 'em. A stock boy and the manager were working frantically to stock the shelves with new products and I apologized for having come so late and said I was trying to be quick and get out before they closed. Then the manager said, so politely "Don't worry about it... We're already closed. Just take your time. The next 10-15 minutes were spent listening to the store manager tell me about how certain cuts of fresh beef I was interested in because of the sale price mark-downs could be purchased at an even lower price per pound if I could come back tomorrow before 4pm and tell this & that to the butcher. Needless to say, the young man's helpful professionalism TRULY impressed this old broad. THEN, to top off my shopping trip on an even more positive note, the young man was taking out the night's 🌙 last bags of trash 🗑 as I was loading my groceries into my car 🚗, so he came over to help and to offer to return my shopping cart. He spent the next 5 minutes or so AFTER I had finished loading my car answering my questions about the "now taking applications" signs on the store's door. I explained that I was asking because I knew a couple of 30 somethings who were looking for gainful, local employment. Not only did he describe in great detail the 3 types of job openings at Sav-a-Lot, but he went on to tell me about other nearby job openings! I swear, y'all, NEVER have I EVER felt so important as a bargain grocery shopper! It reminded me of the personal attention shown by local grocers like the Napiers and Hamiltons when I was a kid and a wave of nostalgia washed over me. Long story longer, the bottom line is that whatever they're paying that young man, it can't be enough... Because I wouldn't trade this evening's shopping experience for a fist full of 1000 dollar bills 💵! Thanks for the dose of gratitude... It came at exactly the right time.

Worse place to work. They actually let customers yell at you & insult you. I wondered why they didn't capture the whole store front in the picture, including the tobacco shop. I guess they didn't want to capture photos of the managers on their all day smoke breaks.

This is the only store that I've seen a dog run in and out of the store and employees didn't seem to care that a dog was running around the store,and the store could use a good cleaning

I love SaveALot n Celina Tn..They ha e a nice clean store with employees who are willing 2 go the extra mile for each shopper..The elderly especially..And there Tobacco shop has competitive prices..

Friendly staff and easier to navigate through the store. 4 stars because sometimes they is only one line open until it gets busy then they open others but that is most Sav-A-Lot though
