Cabins could use some fine cleaning detail, but ours was great overall. Quick drive or walk down to the marina, nice outdoor seating area, and the hot tub is a nice bonus. Cozy, but modern with wifi, digital thermostat, new fridge, and furnished w/basic cooking items. Quiet during our off-season stay, and we would definitely stay again. Friendly staff, too. We rented a Tritoon from this marina and received excellent service, and they really well maintained and clean rental. It is 150 horsepower and well worth the $498 for the whole day. The staff was friendly and helpful and made the drive worth it.The location is a bit twist and close tight turns getting down there, so be a confident driver, watch for oncoming traffic around the turns last 1/2 mile.

If I had a option I would rate zero stars. Great day there but horrible workers well worker. There is I tall white haired man that told me I could not sit on a public bench. That just the summer before I would always sit on. If I can't sit at a public dock and eat food that I bought in store there then what is the point in going if I will get charged with "loitering." So long story short 0 out of 5 stars on the customer kindness. However boats are extremely clean when walking inside and the cabins look and smell amazing.

We stayed the weekend in a 4 bedroom cabin. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable. If there was a negative the couch and chair in the living area could use an update. It was clean but worn out.The staff at the marina was wonderful to work with. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a relaxing weekend at the lake

I will admit our boat was starting to show its age with not as many ammenties as we'd of liked but the staff were amazing and truly came through for us on, I'm sure, one of the busiest days of the year for them. They allowed us to get a a boat in the latest and last possible moment (probably part of why our boat wasn't as nice) when another marina completely screwed us over last minute. Their customer service, flexibility, and hospitality made the experience great. I'd totally spend money with them again!

The cabins are nice. But if you have a boat and have boat slip with them, don’t count on having that slip once you return from the lake. They did it last year and this year. We go out and fished all day and come back and someone has taken our boat slip. Then to contact them about the issue, we’ll might just forget it. We watched a worker walk into the office and we called. First phone call they picked it and hung up. Second try no one answered. Elaine does a great job. But..either there is no communication or the workers don’t care. This is just to bad. I doubt if we come back here for our fishing trips. Nice cabins, great off season price, but I’ve lost all trust in the dock workers. And I could go on about the dock hands.

I give two stars with some reluctance. Yes the boat was old, but with some regular maintenance and deep cleaning every now and then it might be ok.We received a boat that had been cleaned prior to us boarding. However, there was strange blood dots near the corner where the ceiling and the wall meets in a few of the rooms. This should be checked out!Also, we had a electrical issue and on our last night we woke up at 3:00 AM to a burn smell and smoke that filled up two rooms.We called on the radio, no response and left message for the marina and NO ONE called us back!We called again asking if we can drive the boat and they said ok, bring it on in. When we spoke to the front desk about our deep concern for the mechanical issue they seemed to not care. It was evident they didn't care otherwise we would have received a call back when we left a distress message at 3:30 AM.There was no Pilate light on the front of the boat, this was a missing safety feature.The beds were comfortable but that would be the only plus from this trip.They need to maintain these boats if they want to keep them going. Paint and carpet go a long way along with good customer service.This was Definitely missing at this marina and they should take note if they want customers to return. Bigfoot 1 # 92

23 of us rented the Bigfoot 2 and Bigfoot houseboats for our vacation. We had a great time but the houseboats are very poorly maintained! Toilets, lights, doors broken. The 8 person hot tub will only fit maybe 4 adults and no way to refill it. The staff completely ignored me when I told them about the issues on the boats. The houseboats are also gas powered. Always want to look for diesel powered houseboats for efficiency! Would never recommend this place to anyone!

I've been on plenty of houseboats and the one I was on was far beneath the others. There seemed to be low maintenance and was slighty dirty. Maybe due to the fact it just got back from another family as we were taking it over. The bathroom was not clean and sink was stopped up due to it being clogged with hair 🤮 which I cleaned with gloves The shower had no pressure so the head didn't work and the water was cold (military days)...the ac barely worked the dishes weren't clean. Good thing I also checked the propane tank otherwise we'd have to go back to the marina or wait for them to bring some out...The I cabinets were poorly repainted and looked like they were going to collapse at any moment.

The reason for the 3 stars was not because of customer service at the marina or quality of the rental, it is because what I reserved online was not what I received. I used the online rental reservation service. What I rented was a "Small Boat - Bass Boat with Trolling Motor" what I got was not a bass boat, it was a john boat. The boat was great for fishing however it was not a "Bass Boat" as advertised. It was a Lund Predator 17 ft boat with a 50 hp motor. The boat performed well and was a good fishing boat. The boat fit the three of us comfortably and felt very stable on the water. The marina staff was very friendly, they helped guide our houseboat (which we did not rent from them) into the refueling dock. They pumped out our waste tank, refilled our fresh water and refueled our house boat. The service was great. Again the three stars is only for misrepresenting the boat I rented.

Company rented 2 houseboats 4 months prior to our departure date paid in full. Owner called the day before to see what time we could arrive the lady told him after 12. Well one would think after 12 means anytime after 12 but nope we arrive and was told the boat wouldn’t be ready till 2:30. So here we sit after a 2 hr trip to get here on the dock in 95 degrees weather with food that needs to get into the refrigerator. No apologies nothing. They didn’t even offer us waters.

Great Customer Service. They were great to work with, we plan to do more business with them. The boats need some maintenance, but i think they are working on that. They're fuel is too expensive though, that is why the four star instead of 5.

Great staff. Very knowledgable of the different locations.Very tight parking areas.Our houseboat needed alot of care. Lights did not work, pull out couch was broken, windows would not open, toilet seat was broken. Overall the boats need better maintenance. I will rent another houseboat from this resort, because the kids had a great time and tons of memories made.

This is the third year I've spent multiple days on a house boat with Holy Creek. Dale Hollow is a great lake and you can pull up the houseboat anywhere. The service is great and has been every year. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to do a house boat trip.

Worst cabin ever. Apparently Safe Harbor Marinas doesn't care much about clean cabins or comfortable beds or lights/lamps,grills,toasters,air conditioners that work. Filter in air return had obviously not been changed in several months. Carpet stained irreparably. Plumbing in bathroom beyond disgusting. Several light fixtures and lamps needed replacement bulbs. Clock on the wall had no battery??? Floor was filthy, our feet were black after walking around for about 30 minutes. Could stay elsewhere in "rustic" fishing cabins and get the same accommodations for half the cost, except for the hot tub which was actually clean and functioning. Will certainly never stay at one of this companies cabins again.

Spent 5 days on Bigfoot II with 5 other couples in May of 2017. We've rented the same boat from Holly the past three years and enjoy it very much. The staff at Holly is second to none. They certainly went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The lake and surrounding area is spectacular as it's not cluttered with homes or commercial establishments. The good lord willing, and the creek don't rise we will be returning in 2018.

We rented a houseboat for 4 days and 3 nights. When we get out and about on the lake and it begins to get dark we find out that the running lights dont work and none of the lights up top. The speaker for the radio didn't work up top either. Then we find that the 2 back bedrooms also had no lights. This is not the first time we have had issues with this marina. 2 years ago we found bedbugs they offered us a discount for our next trip then but now they say there is new owners so that offer is void. Then we have all these issues and they dont want to compensate for all that was wrong this year seriously doubt we will return for a third time.

Rented a jon boat. The boat was beat up like you would expect from a rental jon boat, but the motor was nice- electric start and no issues. The staff at the marina were friendly and helpful. There were carts available to load up our gear to take to the boat. Will be back.

Great people, the deck hands were very helpful, and everyone made sure our vacation was fun and successful. I will rent from them again. 14 marinas and Holly Creek should be the one you try first to establish a baseline. You won't be disappointed.

Great rental of a 75-foot house boat. However, we also rented a ski boat. These are very handy to scout locations, as well as ski behind. But when the ski boat is 20+ years old, full of ripped up seat cushions and busted speakers, and fails to run less than 24 hours after renting it, your vacation plans have to change. Calls to the marina via the radio were answered by high school-aged employees completely unqualified to fix the issue, as well as attitudes that did little to show they cared about our experience.

Rented bigfoot 2 for a few days. Staff was friendly, price was decent. Houseboat had some issues. Web and rep. said it had seaports for jet skis, it did not. Generator was acting up all the time shutting down, they did come out to look at it but did nothing. The hotub took two days to come up to temp. They also told us we couldn't flush any toilet paper? Overall decent experience though.

My family and i have stayed here the past 3 years. The deals are great and they are great about getting you set up for the week. The house boats are great for any age and any event. Highly recommend
