Very nice little park, it's a work in progress but I'm definitely anticipating the new splash pad addition. This park has very entertaining community events, little covered pavilions that can be rented out for your own events, and the largest pavilion even has a fireplace for chilly days or evenings. All the park equipment is new, clean, and fun- my children love visiting this park. There are nice regularly maintained hiking/biking trails, river views, sports/game equipment, and even a geocache hidden in the woods 🤫Playground: New, clean playground equipment that is regularly maintained, tennis and basketball courts, as well as other sports games/equipment available for public enjoyment. We are excited and full of anticipation for the new splash pad.Restrooms: There are public restrooms open to the public spring-fallDog-friendliness: Dogs often come with their owners on hikes here, and social canines even enjoy head pats from the kiddos that visit the park. There are no water fountains for canines or public access doggie bags, but there is natural running water for a break on your hike, to enjoy a refreshing canine water break, just bring your own doggie disposal bags and dispose of them in the public trash cans that are available.Picnic area: There are covered pavilions available for rent, the large one even has a fireplace for chilly day events, and lots of rolling soft green grass to choose to sit a picnic blanket on and enjoy the outdoors and weather for free, you may even enjoy hiking out in the woods and find a nice clearing for a picnic. Beautifully maintained and packed lunch picnic options are broad.

It was always a very good city park growing up. The tennis courts were in great shape and busy most day or night. The walking trail was maintained and the landscaping kept up. Sadly, no more. It needs a lot of TLC. It could be an excellent park again if only the proper Government officials would really focus on it's importance.

This is a beautiful park. There is a big playground for kids. There are picnic tables for hanging out. Also there is a boat ramp that goes into the river. I love to go there and read. It's quiet and beautiful.

Love this place, so calm and just pretty. BUT where are the picnic tables?? Would like to bring lunch now and then and sit out to eat. All they have is the shelter. Dont feel like walking to the shelter thats made for several people when there are only 2 of us!!

Great place to take your kayaks out. Bout 3.5 hrs from dam on the water with 2 gates open. Watch for the tower on the right hand side.
