I’ve boarded my fluffies here with Jackie many times over the years and can’t brag enough about the care and attention they get. They are always happy and playful when I pick them up, healthy and clean. She’s very staunch on her cleanliness protocols and rules- which is a great thing. I never worry while she’s got them. Her grooming on-site location is equally well kept with her standards and she will do only what you want as far as grooming. With many years of a variety of knowledge, I take her advice to heart and never been wronged. This is one great place and I’ll be using her as long as we live in the location.

Jackie did a beautiful job giving my cat, Moochie, a lion cut to rid her of terrible matting. She worked me in as soon as I described the problem, to get my cat much needed relief. It was my first experience with Jackie, and she handled my usually difficult cat with zero problems, even texting me photos while she worked, and complimenting me on how sweetly she behaved! Mooch usually has to be sedated by a vet when her coat gets like this, but Jackie had absolutely no trouble managing her, at all.We have searched three yearsunsuccessfully to find a standing cat groomer for Mooch after our last one moved away, and we have had terrible experiences with three other groomers during the while search. I am so happy to say we finally found Mooch a standing grooming appointment by a confident, caring, gentle, excellent professional!**I will add, another reviewer on here characterizes Jackie as rude and unprofessional. I wholly disagree! She is confident, direct, matter-of-fact, and to the point. My experience, but more importantly- my cat’s experience today- was everything I’ve been searching for for over three years.Thank you so much, Jackie! Mooch will see you again in April!

Jackie is great with our 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer, Pepper. We use Jackie's for grooming and boarding. We've never had a problem. She grooms Pepper very well and we are always pleased when we pick her up. Her price for grooming is very reasonable. We would recommend Jackie's to everyone.

I can't say enough about Jackie and how happy I am that I found her!I'm new to the area and I happen to be a first time pet owner as well. Jackie has been an extremely valuable resource for me. She is always willing to share more than just the do's & don'ts...she genuinely cares and wants the best for each animal in her care. Whether we're talking nutrition or "tricks of the trade"...as long as Jackie is in business...I will always be one of her clients.My new furry friend, Banjo, is groomed by Jackie every 6 weeks and he is always the most handsome pup when she is done! He gets so excited when I drop him off...I'm "almost" jealous. I find Jackie's prices to be extremely reasonable and fair for both grooming and boarding.I have boarded Banjo a few times now and never hesitated for one moment to leave Banjo with her. I know when he is there that he is safe and comfortable and cared for as if he was a member of her own family!5 Stars isn't enough...I give Jackie's Professional Grooming 10 Stars!!! We were VERY pleased with the services for our 3 dogs 🐕. 2 poms and an American Eskimo, were groomed several times there and we loved it. However, we had to reschedule 2 appointments in the past, but gave decent notice. We are new to the area and from a warmer climate and weren't sure how often they'd need groomed here which we did explain. Well I was out of town due to an emergency, and I was not receiving messages. Our appointment was a Monday and on Sunday since we had not confirmed she sent a message saying we had to find someone else even after I sincerely apologized and explained that I had no cell service and it was an emergency! No compassion and when I sent a follow up message a few months later apologizing again and asking her to please re consider as we are very good with communicating normaly and loved her service she didn't even respond. 😔

Jackie always does a great job taking care of our fur babies! They always come home happy, well groomed and smelling so nice when we pick them up. And the boarding is great too. We would not take them anywhere else.

Jackie always does a great job grooming our Bichon. When we board him with her, he goes straight to the fenced in yard and completely ignores me, as he’s so comfortable staying there. Like his home away from home. As far as pick up and drop off goes, she’s very understanding and flexible. Last year, our flight home was delayed a few times and then finally canceled. When I let Jackie know, she was very understanding and kept our dog an extra night. I drive well out of the way to board my pup with Jackie.

We wouldn’t leave our dog anywhere else!!! Our dog is an anxious mess but I never worry when we are boarding her with Jackie. She and her husband go above and beyond for the animals in their care. Her prices and pickup/drop off procedures are more than fair and very straightforward, leaving no room for confusion as far as I’m concerned. Communication is always clear, concise and fast. Thank you for always taking such great care of our girl!

I used Jackie's for grooming services for my pets for years. I have a small 4-5 pound Pomeranian that is very old and one of the last times I brought him in for grooming he peed in the corner of her cages. When he did she took rolled up newspaper and beat on the gate to the cage to scare him. Another instance was the last time. I brought him to her with my other two that I regularly get groomed. He is very energetic and barks but is is no excuse to pick him up high in the air and shake him out of frustration or anger or any other reason for that matter. We LOVE our pets, they are our kids, they are our friends. Our little heaters at night and our dishwashers lol. We as responsible pet owners are obligated to love and care for them. That is our job/responsibility and opportunity to give them the best life possible. I feel like she just does not see it that way. I want someone who has a love for pets to care for mine in a ways that I can not. I do not know the first thing about grooming dogs but I feel like Stevie Wonder can see she does not love what she does. I do not know, maybe I am being picky ?.?. I just do not want to see her abuse anyone else's pets that feel the way I do about them. They have no voice to be heard. They can not say "dad that lady was mean to me". All we can do is blindly trust someone who says that they are professionals. It has been several months since I have been to her. I debated back and forth to even write it. I do not want to see any pets mistreated, all of mine are rescues and very close to my heart. They are maybe a little more sensitive maybe not but they are mine and they will be treated a certain way

TLDR: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Drove all the way from downtown Nashville for Jackie.We traveled from downtown Nashville for the two years we lived in the area to see Jackie. I have an extremely anxious and overly dramatic pup, Zeke. He is one to cry whenever any sort of grooming is possibly going to take place. Jackie never missed a beat with him! She was so great with him and I never felt anxious or worried leaving him with her to be groomed. I knew she would care for him, love him, and give him a great cut. When I picked him up he was happy, comfortable and it was clear he hadn't been anxious and miserable during his time with her. When we moved away from Nashville, I instantly dreaded finding a new groomer, as Jackie was SO GOOD with him. Couldn't recommend Jackie enough!

Jackie takes wonderful care if our baby Sampson! He is a very nervous 12 year old that isn't comfortable around a lot of people. He gets so excited when we pull in the driveway. He knows where he is going and loves it. I will never use anyone else but Jackie.

"Disappointing Experience"I just contacted Jackie's dog grooming for the first time, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. From the outset, communication was challenging; Jackie was evasive and, at times, outright rude during our conversation. When seeking information about grooming services, I felt like my questions were dismissed, and Jackie even questioned my experience as a dog owner.Despite attempting to discuss my concerns, the call ended abruptly with Jackie hanging up. This lack of professionalism and customer service is disheartening, especially for someone seeking grooming services for their beloved pet.I hope my feedback serves as a cautionary note for others considering Jackie's services. Clear communication and respectful treatment are crucial elements of any business, and regrettably, my experience fell short in these aspects.

We have boarded with Jackie for over 20 years. She is very professional and good in explaining her policies to me. She has given me advice over the years and every time I’ve taken her advice I have found that she really knows about what is best for dogs. She also has groomed my labadoodle and my papillon and they were groomed and treated well. I have recommended her many times.

Honestly BEST experience of care for my fur baby!My dog is a small 17 years old Chug (Chihuahua Pug mix) who has NEVER let me trim her nails. The first time I went to see Jackie she was so kind, she truly rescued me and my dog from her nails curling into her little pads. It was an emergency situation. The groomer we had been going to stopped answering calls or taking apointments and it was too far to drive for a "maybe" opening. Jackie not only fit us into her busy schedule the very day I called, but she fixed my dogs nails And she NEVER made a single nail bleed!! Everywhere else I had ever taken my dog for nail trims, including veterinarians had made one if not multiple toes bleed. No joke, Jackie truly saved the day. Naturally, before visiting Ms. Jackie, my dog would get so nervous for her nail trim appointments she would cry and shake, but since we started visiting Jackie's Professional Dog Grooming and Boarding, that behavior has not been an issue since! We love to go for our short visits and have been visiting now for probably 8 months (if not a little longer at this point) and we will continue to do so. Honestly I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else at this point. My little old lady isn't as spritely as she used to be and she doesn't take treats from most people she doesn't know all that often anymore.. however she will from Jackie! Jackie sure does bring out the puppy in her and I'm beyond words grateful!!Jackie thank you for all you do and your heart for all kinds of fur babies!

I can’t say nothing but great things about Jackie’s Grooming and Boarding! I have been going to her for many years for boarding and grooming. She does amazing work, my dogs come home stress free, and clean and beautiful. She’s very professional with her work, and has a very clean environment. I just recently boarded my 16 year old min pin that is blind and can’t hear with her and she came home happy as she was when she went. I will soon be taking my puppy schnauzer to her for grooming, and I know she will come back looking amazing! If you want someone who cares about your animals like they are her own, Jackie is the place to go!

Was looking for a place to board and asked some basic questions and clarifying the information she gave me over Facebook messenger (she had some typos in there and I wanted to make sure I understood). I was literally there for 2 minutes and my first question was if she took afternoon drop offs. She got SO offended and accused me of trying to get a night free which was NOT my intent, I just wanted to know if she took drop offs in the afternoon! She’ll probably come on here and try to defend herself by insulting me again like her other commenters. Customer service was terrible, I’ve never met someone so ready to attack a potential new client. So beware, look for someone else.

Our babies have been going to Jackie’s for 10+ years. She has groomed and cared for 7 animals of ours and has always done a fantastic job. Some people can’t handle her honesty, but I sure do appreciate it. If you’re doing something wrong or if she finds an issue on your animal, she will tell you what’s wrong and how to fix it. She doesn’t sugar coat her recommendations and I love that.
