Went there 3 weeks ago and they let my service dog eat and drink out of there plates and water bowl. Went there 1 week ago and they wouldn't let him eat there food, not even off a paper plate, nor drink water from a plastic bowl. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We told them we wouldn't be back and that we was going to cracker barrel to eat from now on. They greeted us with a smile and fed my dog on there plates and brought him water in a bowl. Shoney's 0, cracker barrel a perfect 10

The food on the bar looked like it was three days old. It was crusty or dried out.The service was terrible. The waitress never came by to ask if we needed refills. She tool out order and brought our drinks. We never saw her again until she brought the check.The store was clean.

Wow who would have thought. I just ate at one of the best family buffet I have ate at on a long time and I had to drive 4 hours to get there. Shoney's in Caryvill Tennessee you have it going on. Great food Great service clean fresh cooked food wow I love this Shoney's

The food was good but my service from the staff kinda sucked. For example I had to get a different waitress to bring me some extra napkins as they don't have any on the table and one of three times that I saw my waitress was when she brought me that ticket laying on the table in the picture. Being in there over an hour and a half and only getting asked one time if I needed a refill or anyting that substandard service and when they did ask if I needed anything it was after the ticket was brought. But some of the other wait staff were good and help me with what I needed and the food was good and there was plenty of it and at the end of the day that's the most important thing. In all fairness they were really busy as they had four people working on the bar. Even with one person for each section there were times you would still have to wait just because the demand was so high. So in the end it was worth it I enjoyed the trip and the food was good

No service. Sat there with an empty unsweetened tea for the entire meal. Then tried to double charge me for a single buffet.And yes, of course I talked to a manager --- who did nothing but fix the pricing issue. Didn't care that I sat that without a drink for the entire meal, because she didn't know who my server was from any other server. What a dumb response.Thing is, I expect issues like this not to happen to *have* to talk to a manager. How do you try and double-charge someone for a single meal? Nevermind the overall cleanliness of the place ... it reeks of burned grease, sticky tables which you have to ask to be wiped off, and then have to deal with getting a manager to fix a ticket which was obviously wrong for a single person. Nobody cares there.

To be honest this is the first time my kids were able to eat at a Shoney’s. The food was amazing and not to mention that it was my wife’s favorite place to eat when she was younger, too bad they closed the locations near us. Also our waitress was awesome as well. I can’t quite remember if her name was Maggie or Maddy, either way she was great and made sure that our family was taken care of during our visit. It was also my wife’s birthday the day before and this really hit the spot for her. We’ll definitely make it a point to stop in on our next trip through Tennessee.

I've been coming to this Shoney's for quite awhile, it's always clean and the wait staff is awesome! They have my favorite on Thursday, catfish of course and it's always delicious! Their buffet is one of the best around, always hot and an awesome choice of fair. You Rock Caryville Shoney's!!!Parking: There's never a problem finding a spot.

Stopped in for dinner. Server was polite when she greeted us and took our drink order. She brought our drinks and then we literally never saw her again, even passing through the dining room. One of our drinks was empty 5-10 minutes in and was never refilled. We had to ask for our checks at the register when we were finished eating. We live about an hour away but pass through occasionally. An experience such as this will keep us from stopping in again. Server may have been named Emily. There were only 3 people in our party... I'm not sure what happened.

I wish I could give a lower review. I ordered the Swiss mushroom chicken. The picture had rice and other things on the plate but this is all that came out. How is this real life? I feel like the expression on my face is the same as the hungry children you can sponsor on tv for just 29¢ a day.
