Store is clean, always has been, shelves are clean and organized, employees are great, except for one little lady. She made me feel like she didn't want to be there and was kinda hateful. However, that was the only bad experience I've ever had.

Clean and very well stocked. Cashier was friendly. Would have given 5 stars, but when I walked to the entrance there were 4or 5 people standing around the open doors, smoking. Had to squeeze by to get to the door.

It's in a convenient location. Easy to get in and out of. This store always has inventory in the aisles that need to be put up. Big staff turnover. Everybody is nice though and they always have what you need.

Dollar General is often a mixed bag of results and unique experience per individual store. Often these stores can suffer from lack of inventory management, inconsiatent themes with merchandise layout, and overall lack of proper organization and cleanliness.This is NOT the case for the Rome, TN store in Smith County. This store is probably my favorite Dollar General in the county. It has a concise layout, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a very convenient entry / exit point from Hwy 70. There selection of products is also very vast, but layed out well and easily accessible in store.Give this store a try!

Prices do not meet what is on shelf. Bought several items today was over charged on several items. 5 lb potatoes stated 365 when checked receipt was charged 475. Bread 150 charged 175

This store is always dirty you cant every get down any of the isles cause they never put stock up and there is never a person at the register you have to squeeze a dog football to even get there attention and most of the time they are outside smokingThe only employee that it even nice there is a young boy name john

Like shopping at dollar store.But here recently they do not have no public bathrooms.That not good what is the problem?The one at Rome on lebanon Road and also the one at sparta pike Lebanon .So No Go.
