Great American made product! Built to last, customer service is great, lead time for delivery depends on product ordered but never fails to impress and is built to last. I have multiple orders from them ranging from belts to gym bags duffle bag and tool bags, wallet and slings for my rifles. I am a lifetime customer! 10/10 recommend to all!

SOE makes wonderful gear BUT I returned a belt on order 209117 and the belt was received by SOE 6/2/23 on USPS tracking # 9505512399783151713501. I never got a replacement (size 40). What I paid for the belt was returned by Paypal but not the $10 SOE asks you to put in the box when send a belt back. Great products but I feel dupped now.

I'm an older guy living in the 'burbs who never thought I would have a need for nylon tactical gear. Yes, I have a "name brand" leather gun belt and it does a tolerable job. After checking out SOE, I bought an EDC belt in all black. From order to arrival, it was less than 1 week. I have never had a sturdier or more comfortable belt!

Have been doing business here for the past few months. Everything I have ever bought has arrived in a timely fashion and quality second to none. Have been to the shop a couple of times and have found the owner and his wife, nice and knowledgeable and helpful in every way. Will continue to do business here for many years to come.*Update* I am more than two years doing business with this company and between online and in-person buying have bought a little over 10 thousand worth of merchandise. I’ve had exactly 1 issue and it was of my own making. I ordered the wrong item. I sent an email, John and Amanda corrected it immediately. I have been to the shop now more times than I can count and treated like family every single time since the very first time. Was a complete waste of time and money. My order was simple and was supposed to take a max of 12 weeks or so which is still crazy. It came 19 weeks later. They also sent it to the wrong address after I changed the shipping months before it shipped and refuse to comment on the matter or refund my money. So I have no product or the money I spent on it. Was really excited about the gear but never got to see it, and SOE doesn’t seem to care. Would give 0 stars if I could. Sad.(And to respond to ole Johnny boy’s riveting response. I had changed my shipping address because on month 3 of waiting for my package I moved. The change was confirmed by You and Amanda but apparently nothing was done. Every piece of gear i have bought from them has been the highest level of quality. From the cobra riggers belt that will undoubtedly be around way after I am gone to the grocery bag that will hold more stuff in there than you want to carry, you can't go wrong no matter what you get. If you need a carry-on travel bag the medium sized clothes bags are just about as big as you can go and a perfect option. I can't say enough good things about this company. Give them a try one time and you will be customer for life.

Company won't ship my items and won't give a refund. There can be long lead times on many items which they will let you know up front and is fine. Emailed the company several times over six months offering to change the color patterns on my order if it would get them sent sooner as I am moving soon. All emails were ignored until I asked for a refund. The owner emailed me telling me that the items just became in stock and he decided that I won't be getting them. He has since gone back to ignoring my emails. I have not received a refund.

Best tactical and lifestyle gear on the market. You will not be disappointed with neither quality or customer service. The owner John keeps all his customers up to date with daily live feeds on Facebook and multiple posts on numerous social media platforms. Moreover there are countless videos on YouTube which shows off the gear. The gear is an investment and will only go up in value. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you choose another manufacturer.

SOE hosted a special event to teach skills like making Feta Cheese, MIG Welding, Small Engine Maintenance as well as how to set up a Solar Power System. I met the owner and was very impressed with his operation as it relates to all types of products for outdoor use. You can see quality is a top priority with this firm. You most likely will purchase products online but it's good to get on the ground and realize this business encompasses more than just making and selling products - they are supporting a like minded community who enjoy outdoors, learning and implementing new skills to further self-reliance...

Recieved new tracking for the right product within hours and was told to keep the mistakenly shipped product due to the inconvenience. Great products, great people, nothing but great experiences. I have ordered several products from SOE and each product is very high quality. You can tell that these folks are passionate about the gear they sell. I currently have 3 of their belts the oldest being around 2 years old with heavy use and they are all holding up great. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money with the other companies products because these folks are the best in the business. I should know I've been involved with shooting sports for the last 25 years and have had many products that have disappointed me. I can't say enough about SOE Gear, fast turn around, fantastic customer service, and producing well made products! What more could you ask for. Keep up the good work SOE!

I ordered a belt and an admin pouch from these guys in November. They advertised 8-12 week lead times on their website, claiming that it may take even longer for more "complex" orders. After around 14 weeks, I attempted to cancel the admin pouch from my order since I was forced to purchase one elsewhere in time for a class. I contacted them again a few weeks later asking for an update, wondering if they lost my order, but they never responded. It has been over 20 weeks and I still have not heard from them! I knew it would take a while, but this is ludicrous! There are plenty of other manufacturers who make high quality gear... there's no need to put up with this sort of customer service.UPDATE: Apparently if you email John directly he will respond. Don't be too upset or he'll lose it and respond with obscenities and vulgarity. He called me a liar... but wouldn't you know it, my package shipped soon after contacting him. I wanted to cancel the order but they wouldn't let me. Save yourself the potential 20 week headache and order from a stand-up company. If you have ordered anything from them and are experiencing difficulties, don't bother with contacting them through their website, just contact the business owner directly if you ever want to get things done.

Bought stuff from soe last 3 years and about 8 orders. Never had any problems with the shipping to Europe apart from customs here taking their time. The listed time for orders is 8-12 weeks or no eta but except for one order taking 10 weeks bc of some custom demands, it always shipped in days. Quality has always been 100%

My first order was a belt It was the best belt I ever owned a cobra EDC I ordered two more Cobra EDC belts one was for another person... one was custom wrap that I did have to pay extra for but was totally worth it! my second order was the akm4 microrig It was the best microrig I ever owned my next order was hydrocarrier. With the H harness It was the best hydro carrier I ever owned. I've also ordered multiple Cobra keychains .... Not to mention the mystery order items I did not even know what I'm going to get...... But it was some of the best things that I had ever received I got the elusive clothes/gym bag and soe beanie soe coffee cup and patches. It is totally worth it I only buy the best things that I can afford The best things for the job that I'm doing...... The best things I believe they have to offer are their tool bags and the large tool bags.... I'm an electrician I do real work everyday if you're going to order one thing you're going to order a tool bag or a large tool bag.... If you're not going to order their tool bag you should at least look at ordering their coffee because you know coffee.....

After watching your videos on youtube, there is no point to leaving my order # or substantial details. Just needed it faster. Finally got it 4 months later. Although you have terrible customer service, decent reply time on some emails, your product was on par and quality. Just needed something faster for a trip overseas.
