They truly care for the animals. There are so few employees that they rely on volunteers. There's so much to do because they are full, full! Cat room is packed, lots of precious kittens! Dogs, poor things, need to get out and exercise. They're all well cared for but sure could use more volunteer dog walkers. Love this place. BTW, dog named River stole my heart. Photo of my dog I adopted one year ago from this shelter.

Good theytake and care for dogs and cats They need to expand their horizon by controlling other wildlife such as skunks raccoons thru traps Not all people can afford eradicating prices If unable to change or expand to controlling wildlife then they should change their name to Dog pound instead of animal control then raise money thru self funding and no more money thru county tax dollars

I had a dog come to my house so I went over there to see if anyone had lost a dog. It was super clean! The manager found a chip in him... I Left him there. I felt sad but happy at the same time! After his 3 days I went back to see if he had been claimed. The man that was happy to tell me that yes!!! I was sooo happy to hear that.

We went there hoping to find a little female dog for my daughter. Did not have any small ones, but took the time to show us all the dogs and explained how they care for them. I LEFT THEM A SMALL DONATION.

I love going to benton county animal shelter. It helps the employees VERY MUCH and THE ANIMALS. THEY NEED ALL THE HELP THEY CAN GET. You can come volunteer to play with cats and dogs. Donate food for dogs & cats. WERE HAVING AN EVENT ON SATURDAY MAY 22 FOR people to come & see if they maybe interested IN VOLUNTEERING AND SIMPLY SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT THE SHELTER. PLEASE COME SEE US.

I was struggling with the decision to get rid of a good dog but we were having trouble with her getting along with other dogs and the shelter told me that they would probably put her down relatively quick and told me I was a bad dog owner for not going and getting her put down myself but I thought taking her to the shelter would at least give her a chance to get adopted but I decided not to use this shelter these people have bad people skills and I don't think they care about any of the animals they have

A very sad 😥 day for me to have to give up my dog. He's still a 🐶 puppy, soon turn 10 months old, because of cancer and having to go through chemo...I could care for my dog. The shelter was very understanding, it was a very hard thing 😔 for me to do, I'll miss my baby.

What can i say. I'm a pushover for a sad story about an animal. We have adopted two animals form here. One fat cat (kitten when I got him) and a very playful pup. (poor thing was almost dead when she was dropped in a cage to them). The staff has always been great to me. Hope they can keep up the good work.

This place is a joke! My husband just called to have a bitting dog picked up after it bit my 74 yo mother n law. The guy working there is the most disrespectful and lazy person I've ever talked to. If our tax dollars gos to pay people like this then this is why our country is in such a mess. I don't know what his name was but my husband will be finding out and he will be contacting the state department about this situation.

I am happy we have a shelter here in Camden. Jillian, staff & volunteers work tirelessly to ensure these animals get proper homes. It’s the place to go if your looking for your new furever furry friend. Give those animals a chance. They are well taken care ofAdopt & never Shop, there are so many animals put to death senselessly every day. Responsible per owners should have their animals spayed & neutered. Donate to your local shelter, weather it be monetary, food, or your time. It’s not those animals fault they are here in this world. It starts with US!! Be a part of the solution & not part of the problem. You will feel so good about yourself. Go get your next furry friend from a shelter, you will be glad you did 🐶🐱!!
