We have been coming to Star Point Resort for many, many years and we have never been disappointed. It is one of the best values on Dale Hollow Lake. All of their lodging options are fully furnished, most with new to newer furnishings. They provide clean towels every day. The staff is accommodating in every way and we appreciate each and every one of them. If you bring your boat, a slip is available at a reasonable additional cost. The marina offers ramps, gas and a selection of groceries, drinks and snacks.

We have started at Star Point two times now and both times it was great. Service was great everyone was so nice and helpful. We will be back. We have bought land just a mile way we loved it so much. Can’t wait to build our forever home.Rooms: Very clean.Walkability: You can walk anywhere

The area and cabin/condo was clean, good wifi, cellular coverage is poor in this location. the staff was friendly and helpful for all questions and issues. The docks were clean, well maintained, and easy to access. One point to note, there are no docks at the launch sites.

Stayed 8 days fishing and rented cabin. Great stay. Housekeeping kept our linens etc well supplied and very comfortable. Super friendly people to deal with. Would recommend to anyone.Only downside was they didn't give me the secret places for the bass 🤔

Really loved the accommodations - stayed in the 4-bedroom Magnolia. Super clean and comfortable. I wouldn't mind light bulbs with softer lighting and more fixtures like for hanging towels. But way more importantly, very nice people run the place! All businesses seemed shortstaffed currently, so the manager personally delivered clean towels for us.

I love coming to this Marina! I have been coming here for close to 15 years now. I know Nathan and the family really well! If you’re looking to come to Dale Hollow Lake and stay at the camp ground it in one of the cabins, then you will love your stay! The people are amazing the service is amazing and the lake is amazing! Nothing better than coming here for a relaxed trip! If you are looking for a lake, a place to stay, and somewhere to be well taken care of then this is the place to come! We love it here! Thanks for all the fun times and memories made here.

Love Star point marina!! Smaller marina, but wonderful people. We've been going to DHL for 10+ years and we are always close by this marina. We've never had any issues getting fuel or houseboat service.

Cabin appeared to be recently updated and was extremely clean. The staff, I have never meet a staff as freindly and easy to speak with. They seem to go about of there way to make sure your stay is nice. I will definitely be returning. And advise if your in the area, it is a great place to stay.

We rented a pontoon boat for $195/day. Cheapest on Dale Hollow lake! The carpet on the boat was musty & some spiders were shaken out of their hiding places when we first sped up (which I think has a governor on it LOL). No problem for us though. We had a great day & will definitely rent from them again because the staff was so nice and the lake is wonderful.

My family has been going here for 16 years. We love going up to Star Point every year. It is truly an incredible experience. They people up there are wonderful! Service is fantastic!! If you great the chance to go I highly recommend going you won't regret it.

Realize we got the building out of season but dishes were filthy upon arrival and the housekeeping staff when far from friendly. The View was pretty and the guy working behind the main counter was nice and so is the girl behind the front counter.

Great week of fishing, could have caught more but the weather was outstanding. Will return in the spring of 2023, plus the resort was in top condition thanks to Nathan Copland and staff.

Cottonwood Cabin review:: This cabin was VERY nice. Everything was so clean and nice. The colors were great. Beige walls, clean white trim. Very chic. Even matching wall art and bed spreads throughout the house. You can tell they paid attention to detail. Floors were very clean. Bathrooms were large and very clean. Showers were great, good, hot water pressure. The kitchen was completely stocked....every kind of utensil you could possibly think of...even serving platters!! Ceiling fans in every room and nice closets with hangers ready for you.The house actually matched the online pictures. We had one issue with the grill when we got there but they fixed it and even brought us a different one with in a half hour. His name was Jamie. Very, very kind man who wanted to help with any single thing we needed. He even grabbed us extra trash bags. Cleaning lady came each morning and she was also VERY kind and gave us as many towels as we asked for. ((We had 10 people so we needed a lot)) Again, you can tell they paid attention to detail with who they hired to help take care of the cabins.The only real issue we had was there was no wifi as advertised.Other than that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Dock is nice. They have a nice store and the staff is very friendly. Enjoy coming here every time we are coming to the lake. Such a great marina !! We also loved staying in the lodge.

This marina is centrally located on the lake, which is nice for boating.It is not near supplies, so if you rent a cabin, it's quite a drive for groceries, beer, etc.

Excellent cabins. Very nice and the people are wonderful. Cabin is walking distance to the dock, sheets and linens provided, they clean the cabin daily and give you clean towels. We'll absolutely stay here again.

We always loved Star Point and stayed there many many years always renting a cabin for the week. Always loved Tommy and Frita, and the restaurant was the best place on the lake to eat. Prices were more reasonable and it did not totally break the bank to stay a week. Now the same cabin we use to rent for $650.00 is $1,100 per week. I know everything has gone up but when you reach that retirement fixed income stage in life you just can't afford to vacation at one of our favorite places anymore. For those who can it's one of the better places on Dale Hollow...

Stayed for 2 nights on a tent lot 50 feet from the water! This was our 1st visit to Dale Hollow. Star Point was great: clean, friendly, quiet and most importantly AFFORDABLE. Rented a pontoon for the day to fish and cruise the lake. I couldn't get over the old school approach of family camping which is: "we'll settle up the bill when you leave." This was my daughter's first ever camping trip and she loved it. The full service marina was spotless, bathhouse was clean, security lighting throughout the property and a delicious ice cream shack that you have to visit. There is no beach or playground for the kids but if your looking for campsite to get away to, stay here!
