This spot is hands down one of the best for grabbing a biscuit worldwide, especially if y'all are about that Southern charm. The biscuits are nice and plump, and the staff? Well, they're downright the best in the world! I absolutely adore this place!I will be driving 4 hours just to get breakfast!I would add a picture, but I devoured it too fast!!! ( No seriously I did!)

Most disappointing experience I've had in a long time. The place was almost empty with only two other parties there. There were at least four waitresses working but they all seemed very young and inexperienced. When my bland looking breakfast was delivered I found that the egg whites were runny and asked to have it cooked a little longer. A full 20 minutes later I got it back overcooked and barely palatable omelette with hard cold toast. When we were checking out I believe they overcharged us but the waitress had no idea how to recall the order and check. It was so disappointing and frustrating we just walked out after paying. Avoid this place at all costs you'll be better off driving to Mountain City and eating breakfast at McDonald's.

One of our fave finds on our recent trip to Tennessee for a wedding. The club sandwich was fantastic, the biscuits and gravy were some of the best I ever had, and the kids really enjoyed their pancakes. The restaurant was spotless and the staff was friendly and attentive. The convenience store at the front was great as well. We were so sad when we went back the next day to see that the diner was closed, so just keep in mind they aren't open on Sunday & Monday for dine-in!

I think I'd eat breakfast here just about every day if I was able! The service was so friendly, and it just felt like home. The breakfast scramble was like something my grandfather used to make, and it was amazing. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

A hidden treasure 🤩🤩🤩Foods are very tasty with good price.Freshly made daily.Has both indoor and outdoor seatings with spectacular views.Super clean and friendly.There're some homemade dessert if you still have room after the meal.Be aware of the opening hours. ( 7am ~3pm, closed on Sunday).Will definitely go back again.

Stopped in on a wild goose chase for some candles to light our jack-o-lanterns on Halloween. We were treated to some amazing customer service/southern hospitality when they found some in the back and let us purchase them for a song! We also bought several pieces of pie, and enjoyed every last morsel! Don't drive past this little gem!

Not sure where to start. Food is great...just like mom, or grandma used to make! Service is friendly and personable! The atmosphere is homey and comfortable! Live music the last time I was there....very cool.I live in Texas, but am from the Elizabethton/Butler/Midway area. Every time I get back to Midway I visit Dry Hill General Store. If you live close, or just passing through, it's worth a visit. You should definitely stop and satisfy your appetite. And don't forget the Cheerwine ;-)

Dry Hill Store is a local landmark! Caroline wanted a small deli after Richard retired, but somehow it grew! They even pick up neighbors who can no longer drive and bring them back to enjoy a great meal.Everything is homemade and fresh! Be sure to stop in the next time you are in Butler or Johnson County. You'll be welcomed as a friend.

Eat there when ever we are in that area which is pretty often. Everything is great there, just good country cooking. Breakfast is always awesome. Be sure to try the famous Patty Melt. It is fantastic.

I'm disappointed I came here hoping for some food and I was told that they're doing a remodel but nowhere on here did it say that they're closed for remodel it would have been nice to know. Oh well what can you do. I went by the way they're closed for remodel till April. The store itself still open but the restaurant is closed. The lady at the register was friendly though.
