Oh my gosh. I don't know how to make my own pinto beans but I just had them today and they are awesome!! And then with the fresh diced onions on the top, delicious! Not only did I get their special today which was fried potatoes, pinto beans and cornbread but I decided to get a shaved bologna and provolone footlong sub with lettuce and tomatoes which I can eat for three meals!! I'm very picky about bologna and I don't know what the brand is they use but it's really good. And my best friend from New Jersey comes down and she said it's the best cheese steak she's ever had!! Good job and I think the staff there is very friendly. If you're friendly to people, they are usually friendly to you. Treat others how you want to be treated!!

They serve me the best Philly cheese steak I think I have ever eaten. Highly recommended if you like Philly cheese steaks. It's even better than Jersey Mike's I think.

They have the cleanest store that we have ever been in. The grill makes the very best sandwiches anywhere around here and are the friendliest people that work there . Great job everyone we will be back very soon!!!! 😀

2 stars for wearing no gloves when preparing any of the food. This isn't a pizza restaurant where the food is going through a super hot oven. Not to mention one of the female cooks kept wiping her nose and sweat off her head then proceeded to grab a sub roll..very nasty people in this store. I understand health isn't very important to people in Butler but you all have to do better. Counter girl kept touching money,cards, door handles etc and then grabbing sub rolls over and over to help the cook never washed her hands one time.Health dept needs to get involved.

I have lived here for years so glad this place has stayed open. The new owner is great and has a great family. I recommend the Philly and roast beef but don't forget there homemade chocolate cake itsto die for and I don't like sweets. Thank you guys and all your staff

Super nice folks, but below average sandwiches. Corned beef was a salty, mushy loaf, which I could not eat. To be fair, there was a steady stream of locals getting burgers, tots, fries, etc. Lots of soft drinks and snack items to pick up.Edit After Owner's Reply... Thanks for the reply and your kind offer. We don't live close by so will not likely take you up on the cheesesteak offer... Added a "star" to your review for being responsive...

Stopped here while working. I don't live here. Just wanted a quick bite and something to drink. Ordered a grilled ham and cheese, and a hot dog with chili. Damn! That food was great! Wish I would have seen all the reviews about the Philly. That will be my next try!

Nice place to grab lunch with great selection of bottled/canned drinks.It is a small mom/pop type place so don’t expect to be in a hurry. I liked it like that.

Had a short stay in Butler. I agree with everyone about the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was delicious. Best I have had in a while. I got the double meat option with peppers and onions. Wow. Stay away from fast food in Mountain City. I was disappointed many times.

Had the Philly cheesesteak. It was the best I’ve ever had. I would share a picture but it was too good to stop eating. Came all the way from Minnesota for it. Highly recommended!
