It's a big convenience store without gasoline and they're always over understaffed and the people in there work their guts out stocking shelves and have to run the cash register at the same time.

Have never had any problems here. Check out is always quick and they have a card only self checkout as well. Employees are nice. Stock is usually pretty decent.

I've been to a lot of different Dollar General locations because, well, there's one on every corner, but this one isn't as great as some of the others I've been to. Mainly because of the staff. The manager truly lacks tact with the customers.I stood in line to purchase some items and listened to her talk negatively about an elderly gentleman who had just checked out in front of me. I think that's super unprofessional and just plain rude.I will add, the store was clean and stocked and the cashier was very nice. I won't stop going there, but I hope the manager learns some manners.

Great selection, and super friendly people. Only bad part is that I go in for one item, and end up getting $30 worth of stuff. Dollar General - 1. My self control - 0.

This is my absolute favorite Dollar General of all the local ones around. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.The store is clean and laid out well. The Isles are not blocked every time I go in there. They also have a wide variety of things and their prices are very reasonable.

Store is always sort of a mess, not well stocked. To be fair, it is always very busy so it is understandable. However it's inconvienant to deal with. I always have to wait in the check out like a while too, usually at least 5-10 minutes.

The Butler store is a Great location. Just renovated to add more items. So the selection has improved tremendously. Has (almost) any and everything you might need. But the heart of this store is it's employees. Friendly, helpful, kind, and courteous. The staff are 2nd to none. Plus it's open until 10pm every night of the week. I would be lost without the good ol' Dollar General, and that's a fact.

It is a cleaner DG than most. Well stocked. The young lady at the register was very friendly and efficient. She happened to be beautiful as well. Cute little freckles.

The cashier was rude towards my child, short with me. The most infuriating part of the experience with this lady had to be when she and the customer exchange a look of frustration, followed by a giggle and her ordering my son to hold a bag while we waited for her to finished ringing me up!

For the type of store it is, it takes care of the needs of the local people, with more name brands than I thought.They even have Heineken beer.The manager and employees are always helpful and friendly.Good job!👍😎

Not really all that cheap anymore. And the two in mountain city are clutterd and messy to say the least, also most of the time they are either out of stock or the stuff is piled in the floor somewhere. Also waiding through a pile of cigarette butts to get in the door is not a pleasent experiance. ( sorry. But this really is an honest review at least of the 2 in mtn city.)

Not my favorite place.the staff seem to try to do a good job but it is frustrating with all the stock in the middle of the aisle and having the weight of front for someone to come to the back of the store to check you out

I ordered and paid for 2 gallons of sweet tea waited 20 minutes for someone to go in the back and bring me the tea out when I finally had to mention to someone that I'm still waiting for my tea
