The host was really nice. The sites are a little close together but offer great views of the lake. Not much to do without a 30 minute drive so it is the perfect campground to set up kick back and relax. The only reason it doesn't get more stars is the latrines and showers. The company contracted to clean them only makes an effort at hosing the floors down and wiping the sinks. I know it is a campground but at least sweep up the bugs instead of hosing them to the corners.Playground: Nice beach area.Restrooms: Could use some work

This is a smaller campground that my family has frequented. Usually quiet, right next to Barkley lake, and bathrooms are kept clean. There is a boat dock and a beach close by as well.

Great area to camp. Small campground, good sights. Needs work done to the showers and hot water flow. Been like this the last 4 times we've camped.

Was there for 2 nights and what an beautiful little campground. Wonderful water views, swimming, kayak's, marina. Bathhouse did have a bit of a bug issue tho. Wife said we are absolutely coming back.

Very nice area to eather camp or do a day trip. Lots of water access. Campground is paved road, gravel sites, 30&50A, and water on each site. Dump station is near the entrance.

Very nice campground.Quiet and small, close to the water.I don't understand what happened to the restrooms, they looked like they had a bug infestation.Bugs on counters I mean covered! Bugs on toilets, it was pretty gross 😝 😬

Way better than I'd expected. All nice sites but the ones on the water are my favorite. Roads are all paved. It's worth the little out of the way drive. Absolutely NO cell service!

This is a quiet place for you to relax and unwind. I love the eagles out for breakfast at dawn. I don't care about the 1 toilet, this place is peaceful.

Great facility. The caretakers are always on top of things. The bath house is cleaned daily and always in good working order. Most campers are very quite and friendly. Many times you make friends there. The swimming area is nice and never overcrowded. Although the facility doesn't offer much in terms of site seeing, tours, or anything else, it is a facility that offers peace and quite to those who are in search of it. I love it.Floyd H.

We have a great time here I bring my family camping here ever summer ! The swimming area is clean and it's easy cheap fun ! We love to take our paddle boards out on the water we have been out there at least 20 times this summer

This is one of the best campground I've been to small and quit with the Bumpus mills marina right down the road.

The sites are large and well spaced with a view of the lake. It's just a little tricky to navigate the one turn in the campground.
