I can not say enough good things about this KOA location - the site is beautiful, with fire pits, decks, and tables/chairs at each of the campsites. The renovated cabins are perfect for those without trailers/RVs. It was an amazing place for us to have a mini-family reunion. Our kids had a great time at the playground, there were barrel cart rides, arts + crafts, and a food truck on site, which made it all the more fun! The staff were top notch as well, helping us to make our family gathering a perfect weekend!

From the unexpected site upgrade to the very clean restrooms/showers to the very reasonably priced laundry and the calm collectedness they exhibited when the tornado sirens went off, this was a fantastic spot for us to spend a weekend. I got such a wonderful vibe from this place with everyone from staff to guests being so friendly! We'll definitely be back (hopefully without tornado warnings)!Safety: First time I've ever seen storm shelters at a campground. Wish we hadn't needed them but glad they were there!

Worst KOA experience ever!!! So many maintenence issues, bathroom ceilings are covered in mold, badly painted over, handicap accessible bathrooms are a complete joke and not really for handicap people at all, they were not user friendly. My friend whom is traveling with me is an amputee, the tent sites were not doable for us at all, with the step up. Laundry facilities were expensive for what you get, broken washers and broken dryers. One of the machines ate my $$$ and did absolutely nothing. The washer puked all over the floor, the machine with all the signs needs to be ripped out. Lastly the POOL COMPLETELY EMPTY and under construction, this was the absolute worst KOA I have ever been too. There are far better options out there. One more thing to add.....the front desk lady was extremely rude too 2 young kids just trying to be kids...completely uncalled for.

If you're coming into enjoy Kentucky lake look this place up first. You will not be disappointed. Lots of activities for the kids, cabins available to rent as well.Food & drinks: They have a little store and snack bar right next to the pool.

This was our first time staying here. We had such a great time. Not only was it fun, the people were extremely friendly. The staff were always so helpful and always had a smile on their faces. The owners, Marc and Starr are so very awesome. They always went above and beyond, even though they are extremely busy with their personal life also.I highly recommend staying at Marc and Starr's KOA campground, if you haven't already. We already re-booked for Labor Day weekend 2023 and we can not wait to experience this again.Thank you to EVERYONE who made our first visit so enjoyable!!! ❤️Playground: We didn't really utilize the playground because we don't have younger kids and our grandkids weren't with us; however, it's a cute playground area.Restrooms: The restrooms were clean.Dog-friendliness: I love that this campground is very dog friendly. Our furbaby had his first vacation with us and he really enjoyed it. 😊Picnic area: The picnic area of the cabin that we stayed in was a great size for a family of four.

Very clean and accomodating! I would love to have more activities during the week not just on weekends. Also, I would love to have a few hours daily of just campers having access to the pool before it is opened up to locals. Maybe you could have 9-11 for campers only or 5-7 for campers only swim time.Rooms: Deluxe cabins were clean and maintained!Nearby activities: Lacked activities like bingo during weekdays!Noteworthy details: Owners made accommodations for my dog to be allowed early access to our cabin so he could stay cool while we went to Patti’s! I appreciate this so much!

What an amazing getaway! We came to the area as a halfway point for our family to camp together. The deluxe cabin was well-stocked, and the bed was so comfortable! SUPER CLEAN! The grounds are beautiful. Lots of shade.Marc, Starr, and the gang were perfect hosts. So friendly. They tipped us off to some great local attractions, too! We had so much fun that we're already planning a return trip for the fish fry! Thanks!!!!!

This a very nice KOA!! We stayed for three nights in a deluxe cabin and enjoyed every minute. Very peaceful and the staff was very helpful. There is plenty to do around the park for a relaxing stay and the beautiful town of Paris is nearby. Perfect for a day trip. We will definitely be back. Maybe for the World's Largest Fish Fry. Marc and Starr(owners) y'all are awesome.

Very tight spots to park your rig. We couldn’t put our awning out because the neighbors had theirs first. Within the week of stay, we lost power everyday. KOA workers came around and asked that we turn off crockpots and electric skillets. 🤣 wi-fi was great when it worked and allowed us to stream. The campground was mostly full of locals camped to use the pool and laundry facilities.

I had the great pleasure of spending a night in one of their awesome cabins on a cross country motorcycle trip in June. The owners are a great couple who very friendly and great with commutation. Arriving to smiling faces and people who are genuinely excited to see you walk in the office is a breath of fresh air from most campgrounds I've stayed at along this trip. Check in was easy, our cabin was exceptionally clean, the grounds were well taking care of. Sitting in the pool was a great way to cool off after our hot day on the bike. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Had a fantastic Father’s Day weekend at the KOA in Paris landing. They had all kinds of fun things to do for the kids as well as free wifi and cable tv. Plenty of activities to keep the family entertained all weekend as well as a Father’s Day belly flop contest in the pool which was super fun. Free miniature golf, horse shoes, and corn hole games on site. Multiple hay ride trips and barrel train rides for the kids daily all weekend. We will be coming back soon.Noteworthy details: Excellent poolFree miniature golf, corn hole, horse shoesFree wifi and cable tvDog parkPlaygroundHay rides

We came from Florida staying here til our land was ready to be lived on. Owners and staff are amazing. We thought our stay was going to be 2 weeks and ended up being 4 months because of the weather. They made us feel like family. We feel like extended family still. We come and visit often. Great place to stay. Everything you need for a great time. See you again in August.

Ok, so here is the lowdown both good and not as good about this campground from a TENT camping experience over the Memorial Day weekend. First, this staff is amazing! They are so friendly, helpful, and go out of the way quite frequently to make your camping experience the best it possibly can be! They brought firewood and ice right down to us (charged to our site) upon request and within literally minutes of asking! Our first night I was having some issues with my camp stove and even though it was a few minutes after last call for concessions they still let me order a couple of pizzas and dinner was saved! The campground had many activities for kids even though we didn’t do everything it was nice to have options for entertaining them. The restrooms/showers were clean but far from the tent area making for a long walk to use them. The pool was good but FREEZING! It took a little longer than usual to get used to the temp to actually swim but I think it was because it’s early season and the sun just hadn’t done it’s job quite yet! Overall this campground is great but there were 2 things which did ding it a little bit for us. One, the Deluxe tent area had electric, 2 grounded outlets, BUT there was no dedicated water supply. There’s only 1 water spigot for the whole tent area and that was slightly inconvenient. The other issue we had was really nothing they could solve but it still was there and that was the incredibly LOUD motorcycles/ATV’s and no muffler pickup trucks racing up and down the road directly behind the camp at all hours of the day and late into the night. I’m not exaggerating, it was all the time and obnoxiously loud. So if quiet is your thing this probably isn’t the spot for you. Otherwise it’s great and we did enjoy the weekend very much and will definitely do it again next time Land Between The Lakes calls us back!

Me and my fiance had a great weekend here at the KOA. Everything was wonderful but we only had one issue in the rustic cabins. I would suggest bringing extra padding for the bed and the bunk bed. Because if you don't, you will completely feel like you are sleeping on wood and your whole body will be hurting the next day. I really hope the next time we come to stay they have changed that problem. And the bathrooms were really nice but the shower is really needs to be cleaned multiple times a day because they have a lot of grease and grime around them. But overall out of those two things we had a great time being there.
