The selection of products here is excellent. I'd rate the meat market as excellent with choices and most advertised items generally available. The bakery needs more people to keep the fresh items/stock levels up. Some specials in weekly ads are not available, and that's a shame. The store is kept very clean. Pricing overall is higher than Kroger and WalMart, but the quality of items offered, especially produce, is higher and seems fresher. The aisles are wide and spacious. The employees are engaging, kind, and interested in the customer. Food City works to make the shopping experience positive.

I went to food city tonight and I went to the meat department and I was wanting some fresh stakes and pork chops, I waited for about 20min and no one could be found to assist me, and mind you there’s 3 other ppl waiting as wellSo I had to walk around the store find someone to get someone from that department to assist me, finally after another 10mins someone came. And she was the only person working in that department. I politely asked for my items and told the young lady to have a great night I went to the front to check out but the girl who checked us out was so busy talking to her friends she barely knew we were there and when our items were rung up she seemed bothered by us being there. She snatched the receipt from the machine and just pushed it towards us and immediately went back to her conversation with her friends ( whom worked there as well). I just ask that this young lady cashier get retrained in customer service. (Clerks initials are M.M.)

Stopped for some grocery shopping before heading to our weekend get-away. This place is fabulous and has so much more than groceries. I highly recommend this store if you live here or just need a few things while passing through.

Food City is a fully stocked grocery store. They have everything you need for a well-stocked kitchen. In addition to that, they also have Misty Mountain Water, which happens to be my favorite!!

Getting worse every time the produce has gotten really bad, and most of the time the potatoes and onions are rotten in the middle. And the prices have gone up again, we pay more and get less, and the absolute worst for quality and also I have seen things that were supposed to be on sale but it's the regular price, All local and everyday shoppers know this already.

Food city is one of a few grocery stores in our area. They are a conglomerate, they want it all. Prices are high, unless you get their brands, there again, I think they are a greedy company 😕

I missed Food City when I lived in Waynesville NC.... They only have 2 Ingles , 1 Publix, and 1 food lion servicing three towns twix Asheville and Cherokee... Pricing sure has jumped from where it was 3 years ago though

I didn't realize when they were bagging at my groceries that they didn't wrap the candle that I purchased so it broke when I got out of the car! A little extra care would have gone a long way… the selection was okay I wasn't doing major grocery shopping (I'm new to Bristol, it was my first time shopping there.) I thought the prices were pretty good.

Okay. Cutest man worker ever was the sweetest. He works in the back with the meat and sushi. He made Thanksgiving sushi. Hands down best roll I've had that's not fish.

I love our little food city on volunteer parkway Bristol TN the staff is friendly and I can always count on finding what I need. The store is always clean and the food is spot on from the deli.

It is unfortunate that our last two curbside pickups have been frustrating experiences for my wife and I. It is unacceptable that the most recent pickup included the assistant manager being rude and dismissive of an issue because “the store is very busy”. Can’t say he isn’t fixing the problem of the store being too busy though, because my household will no longer shop at this store or any food city for that matter. Kudos.

My husband and I shop here often. We usually get great deals on meat. The 5 for 20 is hard to beat and sometimes they do it for 14.99. Always fresh.

This was supposed to be an owl…I showed her the picture and lady said she could do an owl…this was awful. Biggest joke at the party. That’s what I get for waiting last minute all the good places were backed up (unique cake) so be careful if you want a cake done here! Manager was pretty rude about it as well.

Food City is a good 4 star place to get your groceries. It would be a 5 star if the prices would compete with Walmart. As far as selection of brands, Food City has some of the best available. We use the store brand products and are well pleased with them. We actually prefer some of the Food City brands better than the name brand products. However, we have purchased several bags of potatoes that has had a few rotten. We stopped buying watermelons from Food City because they simply weren't as good as others. We will continue to shop there because of the convenience and good selections.
